Poor service steals deposits

They stole €10,000 from us and had to buy a 2008 Mercedes after the payment we never had the car. We have all the evidence a complaint will be filed because they never refunded. Never do business with them.

Kelly's Trading Ltd and Sussex Urban Motor Company Ltd are in essence one and the same with Tom Kelly being the director of both. Publicly available information from Companies House. They sold under Sussex Urban Motor Company (SUMC) which has 2 outstanding CCJs against it ( info available from credit agencies), we were asked to pay Kelly's Trading. In hindsight this should have raised red flags! They have even tried to voluntarily close the company (SUMC) until an objection was received, see link below to Companies House: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/14006413/filing-history They do not answer your calls and emails, they hang up on you, they do not return promised call backs, which renders the in house warranty useless, particularly if the car has a serious fault meaning you cannot drive it there. Still waiting for the V5, and other promises not kept. Very keen to take your money, no customer service at all and don't seem to have any intention to provide any!

Found the most perfect car, put a deposit down which I was told via text was refundable if anything was to happen, long story short an issue happened on there side and my deposit was refused to be returned. DO NOT PUT A DEPOSIT DOWN WITH THESE GUYS AS YOU WILL BE LOOSING YOUR MONEY IF ANYTHING WAS TO HAPPEN! Reported to trading standards.

Put a £100 deposit on car, and when i went to collect it, noticed more scratches and errors on car so decided to cancel. The guy there said he contacted Paul to see about returning deposit, which was the guy i gave deposit to, and he said because they put an mot on it i would not be getting ANY money back. there was a £50 cancellation fee out of it which i knew i wasnt getting back. Also warranty is only for engine and gearbox wear and tere. Other things to note big chance you, ll get car with no fuel in it, and valet will be poor as it was on the car i went to buy, Carpet saturated puddled literally, seats wet. Buy at your own Financial loss because it wont be at theres. DO NOT TRUST.

Avoid. Car had parts missing, oil leak, broken glass all over the boot and under the seats. Terrible customer service as do not answer phone or emails makes the warranty pointless. 2 out of 7 issues fixed. Avoid and buy from a rac garage. Worst car buying experience I've had. Brought a vehicle from this dealer. I was promised it had been serviced and the odd bits that needed doing to it had been rectified. I had problems the day after leaving the forecourt. When I contacted the owner of the garage, he became aggressive and swore when I said I would contact trading standards, he then informed me that I didn’t know who I was dealing with. I looked the guy up on social media, he clearly lives a very comfortable life with his family. I seriously question the validity of some of the more positive reviews left on here..
