I went in for a test drive as stated by their staff who called me . I was not welcomed. Since I have ordered a Hyundai car I wanted to test drive but I was not treated well, all the staff not caring about customers , received such cold behaviour. Staff working today including the manager refused to serve me despite of their own colleague telling me on the phone I just have to turn up to do a test drive, worst experience at a car dealership ever. While I was waiting one of the staff was really rude to the customers, What a shame. Thumbs down.
A shout out for Adrian Hill, senior salesman at Ken Brown in Richmond. We bought a car for our son early last year and unfortunately he had a breakdown in December. I called Ken Brown and spoke to Adrian who recognised me immediately. When he heard we had a problem and needed to get the car back into the garage, he was quick to respond. Not only did he organise a pick up for us, he actually came himself and collected the car. In addition we don't live close by. I found this level of post sales service simply outstanding. I have had many cars in the past: Mercedes, BMW, VW, Toyota and have never experienced this before. I think Adrian is a valuable asset to Ken Brown. Thank you Adrian. :-) BTW - the car was all sorted. As a side note - I'd just like to say that when we bought the car, James King-Martin was the sales manager and both he and Adrian were most professional and knowledgeable about their products.

I needed a new aux battery for my Hyundai, called in the morning, as they had the battery. When I arrived, ( aware that the mechanic was busy, so couldn't fit it till next week0, the manager of the branch said he would do it, to save me having to come back next week. Its these small gestures which make a bid difference - many thanks for all your assistance

Bought a second hand car from this dealership, was one lie after another. Three weeks after paying them car still not ready for pick up. In end was told car ready all jobs done and car MOTed. Drove hour and half to get the car. No MOT, only two of the jobs on the list done. Not told others had not been done, when I took it to be MOTed at my local garage found brakes no good broken suspension spring and broken wheel bearing. Was told by ken brown garage any thing needs doing when I get it MOTed they would sort out. I was told when I asked that they will be doing no more work to my vehicle. No more communication from them.

Bought a new Ioniq from their Richmond branch a few years ago & used them for service since. A new warning light came on the dashboard so I called service to see if I should take it in. The guy was unhelpful, sarcastic and defensive: started telling me I was asking something I wasn’t. He was angry and spoiling for a fight. Really nasty tone. Scary. When I said he didn’t seem to want to help he said “take your car somewhere else” and hung up on me. I was stunned: I just wanted to know if the warning was urgent. He didn’t know I was a regular, as he didn’t ask my name or reg no. A simple call to book the car in had turned into a guy raging at me. I was polite, calm and expecting a decent experience and then suddenly he unloaded his anger and aggression (clearly from something else) onto me. I texted the salesman and asked if he could help, but he didn’t reply. I’ll never go back. (I’m also in the market for a new car, so they’ve missed out there too).
