We booked a week in advance to come in to Steven eagle Toyota Romford to discuss a new vehicle as our current lease was coming to a close. on arrival we were seated and offered drinks which was a good start and told a colleague would be with us for our pre booked appointment shortly. 40 minutes later a Chris sits down with us advising that its a busy day and he has two more customers also waiting for him. he asked us what vehicles we were interested in ( CHR or Yaris Cross) and was immediately told we could expect to pay double for a new lease without taking any details from us. ( i literally mean the man didn't even ask us what car we currently had).. after getting him to take our details he convinces us that the Yaris cross was out of the question and showed us a white Toyota CHR at the back of the lot that was filthy, damaged and soiled with bird poo in multiple places. we eventually had to be asked to be seen by someone else because the service we got from chris was plainly appalling and offensive which we respectfully explained. we were then passed on to robbie who did a much better job and we test drove his CHR as the one on the lot had a dead battery due to being there for so long but we were very happy with the way his Purple CHR drove so we paid our deposit and agreed for our vehicle to go to workshop to be prepared for collection the following Friday with promise of a phone call on the Thursday as he was going to be off mon - weds. we didn't hear from him on thursday so followed up today and the team are all over the place. we have been told we will get a call back from robbie today but i am having doubts about going with this specific dealership. will update on how it turns out. 23.06.23

I have just upgraded my Toyota Corolla to a Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid- and from start to finish the service has been fantastic. I dealt with Oli Haque who has been amazing. He spent so much time with me, making sure I was comfortable with everything and generally making me feel relaxed. This is my first automatic car, so it took a bit of getting used to. The after sales has been, and continues to be great. Oli is very prompt at replying to any question I may have, and I feel extremely well looked after. I will stay with Toyota Romford for all my future car needs! Than you Oli!

In June 2022 was about to purchase a two years old Launch Edition Yaris the day of purchase the car was presented with damage to nearside front bumper refused to buy the car was very unhappy has a £1000 deposit already been paid the dealer would not refund my deposit but give the dealer credit ordered a new Yaris GR Sport for the same price but had to wait months for the new car with no date for delivery was very frustrated my faith in the dealership was restored by salesman Rob Hedges kept me informed of cars arrival in February good advise on aftersales options no pressure very happy with end result thank you Rob for all your help and advice.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’VE EVER RECEIVED!! Full of empty promises, miss sold a car, and nobody seems to communicate with each other. The pre-sale process was good, a sales rep arranged everything quickly and a deposit was taken to take the car off the market. I asked for a detailed video before making the 1 hour trip to purchase the car, to get a better sense of it, however this was never sent to me. The car was not in the condition that it was described to me when I arrived at the dealership. Some of the issues I had with the car were resolved whilst I waited i.e the exterior paintwork (because all of the panels had marks), but some of them could not be repaired i.e the crack on the bumper, the dents and deeper scratches on the exterior, and scratches to the interior. I decided to buy the car anyway. I gave the car a proper once over when I got it home and noticed a few more issues; the parking sensors and parking assist weren’t working, and it didn’t have Apple CarPlay (which the car was sold as having). The aftercare that followed this was beyond disappointing i.e it took 2 1/2 weeks for anybody to come back to me, despite calling multiple times and being promised call backs, sending texts messages and e-mails. Eventually my car was booked in for the parking sensors to be fixed and I made the trip back to the dealership, however it was a wasted trip as they didn’t have the parts in stock to fix it. When the parts arrived I was rebooked for the repairs, but when I arrived they hadn’t booked the courtesy car for long enough, so it was suggested that I drive back home and rebook again. After speaking with the manager they eventually managed to find a car for me. So… my car is FINALLY in working order!! However the Apple CarPlay apparently can’t be resolved, they are not giving me the £250 petrol voucher that was promised when I bought the car, and my car was supposed to be return to me after the repairs with a full tank of petrol for the inconvenience but they didn’t fulfil this because they have no record of it (and the sales rep has now left). This is not the level of service I expect when shelling out £25K in cash on a car from an official Toyota dealership.

I have bought the above-mentioned used car from Steven Eagell Toyota in Romford Gallows Corner, A127 Southend Arterial Road, Romford, Essex, RM3 0DZ on the 2nd of November 2022 and I have collected the vehicle on the 9th of November 2022. I have discovered some problems in the vehicle just after few days of driving it, I couldn’t start the car plus the Gear Box was very hard to move it was stuck and the right mirror was broken and the second key was not working. I have got three children just under 6 years old and I am very concern about their safety if I used the car to drop them to school, which was the main reason that I bought the vehicle, so that I can drop and pick the kids from school. Since the vehicle started giving me problem just after few days from buying it, I have contacted the Dealer in Romford (the above mentioned) on Friday the 10th of November 2022 in order to return the vehicle and get my full refund as I have paid it in full, they informed us to bring the car on Saturday and get our refund, but when we went on Saturday as promised they refused to take the vehicle and give us our money back I demanded to speak to the manager, a guy called Issa said that he is the manager which we discovered later on that he was just one of the sale person NOT the manager, they were lying to us and the way they treated us was very appalling. We told him that under the consumer Rights ACT 2015 I have the right to reject the car if it is of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose and I should get my full refund, specially it is just under 14 days not even 30 days. I could have got another car as I know that Toyota is very reliable cars and the customer service in general is very good a lot of my friends advised me to get Toyota BUT after my experience with the sales people in Toyota Romford, I have no trust in them anymore and the way they treated me was very bad therefore I do Not feel comfortable buying Toyota from them at all and I do need my full refund. I would like to thank you Mr Steven for taking the time and I hope that you resolve this matter. I need my money back

I had very bad experience with toyota romford one of the worse dealer staff not trained neither organised. Very rude don't accept their mistakes and address them. Very ignorant in their approach towards customers. Would never go there again and warn people don't go to scamers.
