I reserved a vehicle with Lease Cars Direct, but unfortunately the car failed the battery health check when it arrived, so I decided not to proceed with the purchase. Ben was helpful and communicated with me throughout the process. My £300 reservation payment has now been fully refunded. Although the vehicle didn’t work out, I appreciate the way the issue was resolved and the refund was processed. Overall, good customer service.

Overall very happy with our purchase. The car was a good price. Just a little disappointed that there is a functional problem with the air conditioning on my car which was not picked up on the presale vehicle check and I suspect did exist when it was sold to me. As air conditioning is so important for these vehicles I would have hoped that a system check of it was completed. I believe that a one week warranty with the purchase would be very helpful, to iron out any such issues, considering the price range of vehicles sold. Although I was offered a warranty at additional cost I don't think I could have taken out a very short one and I wanted to self-insure for the warranty longer term. I would still recommend this company to a friend and I would still buy from them again.

The guy was pleasant and nice, it was a slick operation. We have had an issue with the VW ID4, there is a bit of play in the drive shaft. When we brought it up with the dealer he asked us to bring the car to a garage local to the dealership. I was not able to do it as we live around an hour away and have young kids. Apart form the, the car has been all good, and the sales experience was absolutely fine.

I came across the Volkswagen ID.4 on eBay while I was looking at cars around the sort of money I wanted to spend. I wasn't specifically looking for a Volkswagen, but this one came up, so I went to have a look. The whole experience was fine, and everything seemed alright. Ben was the person who I spoke to at the dealership. The car has been alright so far and I've been getting on with it well. Based on my experience, I can't see why I wouldn't recommend Leased Cars Direct to others.
