Bought a 5 year old golf with "full service history", even after a VW inspection report stating it needed over £3k spent on it to make it road worthy they still took no responsibility and would not take car back. Never deal with these, i wish i read the reviews first. Beware!!!

Avoid like the plague!! Not only were they paying pittance for my part ex they also tried to get an extra £600 out of me by trying to say it was knackered!! Wrapped up the deal and took my car to my mechanic who examined and told me there's nothing wrong with it. He even phoned Leckwith motors who tried to pass the buck "oh it wasn't me who test drove it" and that they hadn't tried to strike up any deals just wrapped it up, they forgot to say they had asked me to pay 600 pound af first then 300. I don't know if they saw a blonde young girl coming and tried their luck but it unfortunately back fired!

Please don't make the same mistake I made, put a perfectly good part ex in to be sold a £5000 car I've so far spent £2500 trying to put right, phoned them up and they didn't wanna know, only had the car 10 months and now it looks like I gotta scrap it. ...shame on you all!!

I have bought 5 cars from this garage over the last 8 years, never had any issues they are very down to earth and easy to deal with.

Happy with my recent purchase from Leckwith Motor Company, they took my car off me as well although it wasn't worth much. The whole process was so relaxed and hassle free. I would definitely recommend and use them again when i'm changing my car.

Very good to deal with, they also helped me tax the car before I drove it away. Car was a good price but couldn't get a discount. I did try but I knew it was a good price. Would recommend and much more relaxed than big car supermarkets I have been to

I had a privilege to be in their garage to buy a car to which they held a deposit over the phone a day before. Next day I inspected the car and it had scratches and scuffs all over the body and I refused the sale. I was denied the refund because apparently it's understood that car will be in this state if it's about 4 years old. Absolute nonsense. DONT BUY OR ATLEAST NEVER PAY ANY DEPOSIT OVER THE PHONE. You will not get your money back and owner is so rude that even referring to bad reviews didn't bother him as he's used to it that people leave these comments. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! I'm going to report them to BBC Watchdog too and this kind of attitude should be in front of whole world and they should get their act together or stop trading. Don't trust these people with your hard earned cash. Think twice and don't bother with them if there's doubt. Stay away from Lekwith.

Can not fault this garage, really happy with my car. It was a good price and I had no pressure from them when buying it. I have recommended them to all my friends
