I paid a deposit for a BMW x3 05 plate that was for sale at Leckwith Motor Company and after test drive there was problems with brakes. The salesman promised that they will fix the car before selling it to me and if they didn't then I will be entitled to full refund of my deposit and he wrote that on the invoice. It was 3 days later when I went to collect the car and the brake fault has not been repaired and they denied that there is problem with the car and I have to pay the full amount or lose my deposit. After long negotiations and emails which lasted 4 weeks and involved talking them to the trading standard agency and with google reviews help I managed to get my money back but the demanded me to remove the orginal review that I wrote on google before they refunded the money. This felt slightly like blackmail however I removed the original reviews and am writing a new one to warn other people not to use this place after the way I was treated.
Leckwith Motor Company are very dodgy if you ask me. If you look at their website they don't sell new cars. It's old ones for people with credit problems. Most of these cars from car auctions and MOT's done by some of them. One of the review says he bought a new car. So better ignore 5/5 ones. I bought VW Golf from Leckwith Motor Company and it was nightmare. No help what so ever when things went wrong.
I would 100% recommend Leckwith Motor Company, the car is fantastic, I pointed out a scratch and they sorted it out with no arguments, great car dealership all round and so I have scored them top marks for every question.

Friendly and helpful enough, but not sure how many checks they perform on the cars before sale. I bought a mini recently and within a few months I had to replace the entire rear brake system which turned out to be dangerously worn, and three of the tyres, one of which was completely smooth on the inside. Not been very car savvy I had trusted that buying from an established dealer would mean that I would get a safe reliable vehicle. I will be more careful next time.
Leckwith Motor Company were fantastic really went out of their way. Bought the car as a birthday present and I asked them to do something a bit special, they did it for me and it was fantastic, really above and beyond. I highly recommend them.

I had this particular car dealership recommended to me when I was looking for a new car and I can confirm they are worth the recommendation. The car is lovely has been faultless since buying it. The service that was delivered to me was also very good. A score of 5 for each question in this review has been given.

I have bought several cars from this garage in the past and only had an issue with one that was quickly fixed. I find there prices very competitive too. I saw the car on line and it was the cheapest in my 100 mile search. Luckily I only live 5 miles away. Would definitely recommend and buy another from them.
Bought a ford focus from these crooks! I'll try and keep this huge back and forth problems to a minimum here. Basically, engine light on within a week. Had my own diagnostic tool, indicated malfunctioning Dpf filter. Took it in to them about 5 times with no resolution. Final stage was I had to pay half the cost of a new dpf filter which they fitted. I asked for the old dpf back and was told it was £100 to get back (ITS MY PART FROM MY CAR). Engine light still came on after this so took it to fords. I was given a list as long as my arm of things wrong with the car. One of the main defects was the brakes, ford said they were dangerous. The mot before leckwith had the car had an advisory for brakes yet leckwiths mot was squeaky clean. The car had done 3k since the original mot. Dodgy much! Do yourself a favour and please don't part with cash with these jokers!
