Having bought an Alfa Mito brand new in 2016, i took it for it's first Major service as per the schedule, i asked Mangoletsic Knutsford to check the rear brakes as i felt they were binding a little, upon completion of the service the technician informed me that they had indeed checked the rear brakes and that the rear callipers needed stripping down and cleaning and that this would cost me £68, i refused and said that if the callipers were not operating correctly then this should be done under warranty, I was told brakes were a serviceable item and as such were not covered under warranty, i took the car away and had a second opinion from an independent engineer who informed me that the callipers were ceased solid and that effectively i had been driving as if the hand brake was partly on, also they had never seen grease in their life and that the pads were in need of being replaced as they were worn down to just above the indicator wires, all this on a car that was less than 2 years old and had only done 12,000 miles, he also told me that the wheels had never been off the car as they were ceased to the hub and had to be knocked off using a rubber mallet, so how could they have checked the brakes properly with the wheels on? I returned to Mangoletsi and informed them of this to no avail, in the end £100 for new pads on a car less than 2 years old. Air con then stopped blowing cold air only warm, i took it to Mangoletsi who said it would be £70+ to check it, if a fault was found then there would be no charge, they checked it found NO leaks or faults but then charged me £58 for a re-gas, at no time was i asked if i wanted the re-gas they just did it, i queried as to why this wasn't done under warranty and was told a re-gas wasn't covered so i said so if there were no leaks or faults where had all the gas gone and therefore why did it need a re-gas, also if there was no faults or leaks why has the £70+ been wavered and only the charge of the re-gas applied i didn't get a satisfactory answer just, "well nothing is totally air tight sir, gas leaks away over time" to that i said, what all of it in less than two years, he then said well we do recommend that you have the system checked and serviced every two years, to which i said well it's not even two years old yet, so i still had to pay £56, UTTER DISGRACE OF A DEALER!!!!!!!

Martin in response to Brakes and air conditioning Alfa Mito
Aircon gas does leak out over time, how long it lasts depends on how often the aircon is used. If you don’t use it much the seals dry out and it leaks out faster. Once the gas quantity gets below about 60% the aircon will stop working, so it’s likely you didn’t lose all the gas. And no, regassing the aircon is not covered under the warranty on most vehicles.
Thank you to Paul and everyone at Mangoletsi with the purchase of my Fiat 500C Collezione. I had a terrible experience the week before with another national dealership and Paul restored my faith in salesmen. My hunt and purchase was done all by phone and I had not seen the car I bought until I picked it up. Since it was my 3rd Fiat 500 purchase in 7 years, I knew what I wanted and they found the right 500 for me. My Fifi is absolutely perfect. Thanks everyone!

Started as a negative experience with Mangoletsi Knutsford, has rectified issues and I am now happier with the service.
Very pleased with my fiat from Mangoletsi, just a shame it had to go back as car hadn’t had special paint treatment and also hadn’t been cleaned to a high standard. The lady who deals with the handover of cars was absolutely brilliant, really helpful and friendly so impressed with her, nothing was too much trouble she was an absolute star
Showing adverts with no intention of selling at that price, forced extra's and charging more than the manufactures charge, waste of time, buyer beware!!

This is not a complaint about Mangoletsi but a member of staff.A year ago I picked up my new Motability Jeep.As I am disabled I was happy to be told by the salesman that it was 4 wheel drive and that no switches or dials were to be used,it would just kick-in with any sign of ice. This was a great selling point and clinched the deal. We were so impressed that we told a friend of ours and within a month he was driving a white one to complement our black one!! Last week we took it for a service and mentioned the 4x4, in passing, to Bryan. We were astonished when he told us that our Jeep model did not have the 4x4 feature!! As you could guess,we were not very impressed at all.Seems to me that Jamie told us a "commission" lie.We had obviously told our friend to ask for Jamie as we were very pleased with his service. Basically he has sold 2 vehicles on the strength of that lie. 2 lies plus 2 sales adds up to 2 lots of commission!!!The DS3 that we traded in for the Jeep had better road holding and that had 17" low profiles.
I Purchased a 2nd hand top of the range Mercedes from Mangoletsi. I pointed out to the salesman when viewing the car that the paint on the tailgate seemed different shade. He tried to assure me it was due to different material i.e. plastic etc. As i have restored & detailed many vehicles I pointed out to him this wasn't true & i suspected maybe the car had at some point had a new tailgate or paintwork. However i decided it was still a car to buy as it fitted our needs & I could always correct the shade difference if it bothered me during ownership. I pointed out that i was very particular & the car needed valeting & detailing before collection. Upon collection the level of detailing & cleanliness was less satisfactory than a roadside £8 job offered by many in the area. Picking the vehicle up at the close of business we preceded home. Within 2-3miles i was created with a warning light warning of deflated tyres. I proceeded to the nearest filling station to top up said tyres x 3. The PCL fitting would not fit as the valves fitted were too short & could therefore never have been checked during any supposed PDI inspection. I had the tyres checked at a local specialist as they lost air over night & could only be inflated with a clip on type inflator ( i purchased a 12 volt unit to keep it going). I had to have 4 valves and sender units replaced (£100). Within weeks the parking sensors were warning for no reason, the tailgate would not perform electrically as is should. After 2 months the vehicle was taken in for new struts to the tailgate and new sensors. Mangoletsi couldn't correct the issues so sent it to Mercedes. Mercedes has the car for 4 weeks before Mangoletsi then sent it to Cheshire body repairs. Another 4 weeks to replace the struts, replace wiring that was damaged by water. The car came back to me with my roof bar & bike rack keys missing. Within 4 days the same issues returned but at a greater level of failure. I instructed the finance company of the issues & Mangoletsi were requested to take the vehicle back. I have ended up out of pocket due to a VERY bad dealer experience. The worst experience from a dealer in 35 years of motoring & over 60+ cars. My original fears of the tailgate issues should have made me walk away. I will continue to seek my outstanding funds. Please stay away from a very incapable dealer, from sales to customer service they really are as poor it get. I can only imagine they will resell the Mercedes ML300 White SA11 GGJ again. DO NOT BUY THIS CAR. the boot area has had water inside for 3 months undetected. Problems will certainly continue to plague what normally are a fantastic car.
