Two different bikes from Manleys Motorcycles, two separate occasions, two relatively easy jobs to be done........neither where done properly, resulting in me paying to have the job done twice.

Brian, your motorcycle was collected after you had attempted repairs yourself. We removed the alarm but became aware that after power was restored that the clutch switch was intermittent and the neutral switch did not work.We demonstrated this to you in the workshop and you advised us to bypass the clutch switch and not to worry about the neutral light as you didn't use it anyway,this is noted on the invoice you filled your address details on before paying the bill. You were quoted two hours labour and you were charged two hours labour plus £20 for collection and delivery.We wired the neutral to side stand switch as a safety precaution to prevent you from starting the bike with the side stand down and in gear, it is practice to have a side stand cut out switch on most modern motorcycles and thought this might be beneficial to you.Unfortunately your motorcycle that is 17 years old and has travelled over 50000 miles will require electrical components to be replaced.
