Had a tow bar fitted Sep 2020. Everything went smoothly, looks like a great job and a top quality tow bar. I don’t understand the negative reviews, I would recommend Mansfield Car Care Centre.

ook my car here to get a tow bar fitted ! Do not use ! First of all they fitted the wrong more expensive 13 pin plug when we requested 7 and demanded an extra fee for this. Then when I left and had a near accident when someone almost rear ended me realised I had no rear indicators took it back, they told me all checked so I said lets check it together and again another fault this time the drivers side rear light! Upon complaining they became quite aggressive and confrontational very horrible place to deal with wish we had not used them . If I could give zero stars I would have

Took my car into Mansfield Car Centre to have a tow bar fitted. On collection a large scratch over two inches long and half inch wide was visible on the back bumper (it wasn't there when we dropped it off). Went to speak to the Manager who said they had not done this and instantly dismissed me. When dropping your vehicle off to have a towbar fitted you expect it to be looked after and come back to you in the same condition. I feel really disappointed has I had took my car in to have a tow bar fitted and now I have got to get it repaired. I would NOT recommend this firm to anyone.

If I could give Mansfield Car Centre 0 stars, I would. I had the astra I bought checked by a reliable mechanic around 1 week after purchase for my own peace of mind. Turns out it was a good choice, as soon i started driving I have a intimitant warning light! Problem diagnosed- he paid half and i believed the problem was fixed. Or so we thought. Now it's speed is back up to scratch, unless the warning light comes on which it keeps doing so restricting my speed! There's another fault. Takes it back to Steve who refuses to speak to me now he has my money. Because there's no light when I get there they refuse to do anything speaking to me like I'm a fool. Takes the car home what are the chances before I get home the lights back on! To be honest he has sold me a complete dud and I would not recommend at all. I'd like to also add I have 3 months warranty which clearly isn't getting me very far. I'm now in the process of claiming my money back for the car as it was sold to me faulty. When my mother phoned Steve to explain I'd like a refund under the consumer rights act he refused, hung up on her and blamed my mechanic for fixing the turbo. Excellent customer service skills as u can imagine. And as it goes the day I tell my story to a work colleague somebody she knows was just about to purchase a car from this garage! My guess is she is looking elsewhere now.

Got a great car Chrysler pt Cruiser at a great price from Mansfield Car Centre. Steve could not have been more helpful I would recommend to a friend anytime. I cannot stop driving the car and there is no problems at all already drove it a hundred miles and only had it 2 days.

Disgusting place car totally broken, dealer aggressive, going through trading standards and cab, this dealer thinks is above the law on selling goods that are NOT fit for purpose, don't be scared by their bully tactics, 6 months by law on cars to be fit for purpose now!!! See you in court soon! I will not go away quietly!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! Issue after issue with my car. These people are not bothered once they give their salemen talk and take your money!! CAR NOT AS DESCRIBED AND NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!!! these people need investigating!!! Buy at your own risk!!!
