Very poor after sale service. Noticed on test drive an issue with Start Stop. Was told it will be fixed on collection... (bought a car week ago) the error did not come up as car was stationary.But the issue only comes up when driving and actually the car is not working as it should. Attempted to contact on several occasions via email and phone...no one ever calls back, always in meeting or on holidays, messeges are being take ...but no response.Complaints at Marshal Group also are useless as asking us to keep trying the branch. Going around a circle. AVOID !!!
They just don't care about the customer, particularly Les he just shrugged his shoulders.
Avoid this dealership and Salesman Connor. Should have read ear reviews before travelling 25 miles to the dealership for a booked test drive. Turned up on time and Conner immediately passed us onto a colleague of his who asked why we were there. When we explained we had booked a test drive with Connor he advised that they had no test vehicles available. When I queried that it was Connors vehicle we were to test he advised that this car had a puncture and wasn’t at the dealership. No explanations as to why Conner had not called us to avoid a wasted journey. Connor sheepishly passed us at this time and didn’t try and apologise himself leaving his colleague embarrassed and trying to apologise. How much longer can Marshall’s tolerate such poor customer practice? .
I'm a Vauxhall driver looking to move to an electric vehicle. Received an invitation from Vauxhall to have a 24-hour test drive. Wanted to see how easy it is to charge the car when out and about. Got a phone call from Marshall Peterborough, no understanding that I had responded to a Vauxhall invitation. Explained that I had a couple of days a fortnight away when I was doing longish journeys and could run the battery right down and I wanted the test on either of those days. Person said I could have car for about four hours. I told him Vauxhall had offered a 24-hour test. He reluctantly said he'd see what he could do. Called me back and said all arranged. Arranged my meeting and planned everything for drive. First thing in the morning of arranged date rang to check all was well as I was being taken to showroom and wanted to confirm that the time was OK. Reception said salesman Conor was on the phone and would ring me back. He did and said that the car had been lent out as a courtesy car but he had another one available which he could let me have for half-an-hour. I told him that he needed to understand my clear instruction from the first call had been that I was only interested in a 24-hour drive. Basically there was no interest in the problems they were causing. At short notice I had to book train tickets and taxis and ended up spending £70 and a whole day to get to and from a meeting that I thought was going to allow me to make a decision about making a change to a completely different way of motoring. I haven't had an apology or even been contacted by them - a very poor operator as far as I am concerned. Well, I didn't get to make a decision about that car but I did make another decision. Never, ever, to deal with Marshall Peterborough Vauxhall.
I done a part exchange on a my car and Marshall’s was going to pay off my existing finance on my previous car it’s been 3 weeks and they still haven’t paid it off. I’m having to keep chasing them. Was told a week ago it will be paid on that day still nothing and I’m having to chase them again. Also when they put car into for the MOT each tyre came back with an advisory so was told they would be replaced and the car needed a service said also said that would be done. Come to pick it up the tyres had just been cleaned up to make it look like they had been done and on way home the service light came on so neither had been done. So I had to fork out £350 on new tyres and a whopping £465 on a service as needed all the belts changed. NEVER WILL USE AGAIN AND I ADVISE YOU NOT TO!!
If I could give zero stars I would. Purchased a car from them and given a collection date. Connor called the day before to confirm the car would definitely be ready and a time was agreed. My husband arranged a day off work, booked a train ticket and paid to insure the car. At 5.30pm the day before, we received a phone call to say the car was awaiting a part, which would definitely be there the next day but they didn't know what time. When told my husband had already booked a train ticket, Connor really couldn't have cared less. He suggested he still come the next day, wait around for the car all day if it wasn't ready, or come back the following day if it still wasn't. My husband travelled there the next day to be told the part hadn't arrived and the vehicle wouldn't be ready for another 2-3 days. It had passed an MOT a few days previously, so was safe to drive, so my husband suggested taking the car and getting it repaired by Marshalls in Ipswich where we live, but they refused to release the car to him, stating it wasn't safe. Surely if this was the case it wouldn't have passed the MOT? No apology received from Connor who is rude and condescending and no acknowledgement of the money we have already paid out, based on his lies. Avoid this place at all costs!!

We have recently purchased a used Ford Kuga from Marshall’s Peterborough and we are pleased with the overall service that was provided. There are a few (non mechanical) issues outstanding on the vehicle and Marshall’s have been quick with communication to get the ball rolling for this to be rectified at our convenience. Les has been great and courteous. Having previously worked in a premium dealership elsewhere, I would recommend this dealership to anyone considering purchasing a vehicle 👍
Upon enquiring of an Audi A7 registration SD55FNX the dealership got jumpy when I asked to pay a deposit to hold it. They said they would call me back yesterday on Monday 18th of January 2021. No call back from Assad or Courtney of the dealership, I expected the car was sold. Assad assured me he would call me back yesterday. On Tuesday 19th of January 2021 the car was the on sale for £1000 more than yesterday, No call back, nothing. Make your own decision on how honest this dealership is
Management is all money money money, no consideration for others, and bonuses or incentives are not only impossible to reach but u will never see one. System is slow and very basic and faulty. The old system needs updating. Parts manager is just an ass.... parts admin and staff are great to work with and helpful, Les is great guy go out of his way to help u.
