The reason I give marshall & son excellent 5* rating is they are so professional at what they do. Great experience from the first phone call to view the cars to when you collect your beautiful car. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable at what they do. All the cars and showroom are in outstanding condition, I was very pleased with the service I received, and i would recommend this company to friends and family. The Discovery is all good, a bit thirsty on the diesel, It wasn’t the best time to buy a diesel car hahaha! Marshall & Son have got a proper stunning car collection, lots of four by fours, lots of Porches and an M4 when I was there.

Marshall & Son are a good dealership, they were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They understood that I was going traveling a long way to go and see them they were helpful and picked me up from the station. Can’t complain on that front at all. I saw the 997 listed on Autotrader and I was looking generally for that particular model and spec of car. I asked a few questions on the car and they got back to me pretty quick on filling in all the blanks.

I was recommended Marshall & Son by one of my friends who has also bought a Discovery 5 from them. Initially there wasn’t any car in stock I was that interested in however when the Discovery 5 came up I became interested. I’ve got a small issue with the Aircon as it’s empty and garages refuse to have a look at it without refilling it first, the refill won’t be covered under the warranty. There’s some moisture in one of the rear light however that is due to be sorted with Marshall & Son directly. As for the sale of the car the team at Marshall was ok, they did all the taxing for me and the swapped over the private plates for me as well.

Porsche 996 was purchased 3 weeks ago, it was advertised early on Instagram and really well presented. I contacted Marshall & son to get additional details and was given a very thorough, precise and honest description on the car. My second contact was to confirm interest (I was then given first refusal) and arrange for a virtual viewing as I am based in Essex. Virtual viewing was again impressive, detailed and really well presented by a very knowledgeable member of the team, this led to my placing a deposit and arranging collection. On picking up the vehicle a week later, the M&S team was again very helpful, I was given time on my own to start the car and go over it in my own time. The 996 was extremely well prepared, body and interior cleaned to high standard and engine bay left untouched to shown the true state of the engine. Overall I could not have been happier with the purchase and would highly recommend Marshal & son

The Range Rover has failed badly just over a week of ownership, so I rejected it. To be fair, Marshal and Son checked it out and gave me my money back. It would be a zero for the product, but five out of five per customer care.

The Discovery is doing fine, there’s a couple of recalls I need to bring it back in for. I’m pleased with the chap we dealt with, believe it was Ken. Marshall & Son were recommended to me and I would happily recommend them to others.

Came to this dealer to view a Range Rover, Jake was incredibly helpful and quickly organised a time slot to come and view the vehicle. The vehicle was very well presented and we were left to look around at our own pace with Jake only popping out to answer questions or to offer drinks/a warm office to look at the vehicle history. We took the car out for a drive and noticed a few little bits that needed sorting and all were put on a list of things to be sorted before sale. I decided I liked the car and put down a deposit and the dealer agreed the parts that needed to be fixed. Unfortunately the dealer missed the first delivery date because they had issues getting the vehicle into the mechanics. While at the mechanics they noticed an Additional problem with the car which delayed by a few more days. The thing I really appreciate is throughout all of this process they kept me informed of what was going on and I always got a call from Jake before he had any days off and an honest update. They really didn’t want the car leaving their dealership without everything being right. I’ve had the car for a couple of weeks now and all seems good and my overall experience with Marshall and son motors has been brilliant and would happily buy a car from them again.
