I was expecting the usual tough talk by a trader of cars but to my surprise this trader was completely the opposite. Max Motors made us feel welcome on the day. Steve at max motors was just brilliant in providing assistance to looking around the cars, popping the bonnets/ boots open and giving us a little tour of the showroom. Had my heart set on the car I wanted to buy but wasn't really 100% until Jay and Steve presented all the history, facts about this car to me plus a test drive which actually sealed the sale on the day for me at max motors 2. Also, i would like to thank max motors for delivering my car to Nottingham at no extra cost. Just goes to show that max motors takes pride in giving the best customer service available in this business. When I purchased my BMW from Max Motors 2 in January this year, the whole experience was fantastic. The staff made the process of the sale very straight forward and stress free and since having the car, I have had no issues with it what so ever. Definitely worth every penny!

I purchased a Mercedes Benz from this dealership in July. The car was very clean and exactly as it was described online. It drives very well and I have had no issues with it at all. the salesmen were really helpful and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Brought a 2010 AUDI A4 3.0 TDI V6 S LINE from max motors about 6 weeks ago now…. went and viewed the car at 9pm one evening and it was just getting dark.. we turned up at his house .. 10 minutes later he turns up .. we got in the car he turned up in and went to a bit of land that the Audi we purchased was .. took the car for test drive and was happy with the way it drove ect .. then went back to the land where car was originally was … JAY FROM MAX MOTORS gets his phone torch out and proceeds to show me the good bits on the body work .. we left that night happy and then ended up financing the car about a week later .. so the day of collecting the car were all happy .. then we get to JAYS MAX MOTORS house and the cars there outside absolutely filthy still cover in dust and dirt .. even though JAY said the car will be valeted ready for collection … there answer was they didn’t get time because his brother In law was playing football or something like that .. so next day I get car valeted and could not believe how bad the bodywork was … front splitter smashed , deep scratches everywhere and blemishes .. so appart from needin new splitter or bumber it now needs a FULL DETAIL … Then 2 weeks ago jst to top things off it started making a wining noise from engine …. so took it to a GENUINE AUDI garage for a health check … where they diagnosed the issue being water pump , tensioner pulley and aux belt and mentioned about rear caliper seizing to . so I rang JAY MAX MOTORS to let him know about engine issues and that evening .. ( ENGINE WORK IS INCLUDED IN WARRANTY ) After the Audi garage having car over night after HEALTH CHECK was done .. I’m driving car home from the audi garage and car decides to brake down on motorway … AUXILLARY BELT had snapped … after a couple of hours me and my pregnant girlfriend got home safely after being towed off the motorway … as soon as I got home told JAY MAX MOTORS that car had broke down and no means of me getting car to his garage because I live 2 hours away .. he said he DOESNT DO RECOVERY and that I had to get the car back to peterbourough to be repaired at his so called warranty garage .. I then replied will I be REINBURSED MY MONEY IF I HAD IT RECVERED and sent back to him .. his answer was NO!!!! So at this point by now you can imagine how fuming I am right now .. so I called finance company who tells me by a CONSUMER ACT 2015 JAY MAX MOTORS has to recover the car by LAW .. then funny enough jay then messages me asking for address for collection of the vehicle .. it must of been about a day or 2 later jay asks me to get a few QUOTES from garages and also tells me that he would even get the calliper sorted as a gratitude obviously trying to be nice… so found a very good quote from a garage in Banbury for the original issues why car broke down £426 for work and incluing the GRATITEDE CALLIPER to…. so send him a message letting him know price and he replies saying cant do calliper now … !!!!! so then it tops it today the car goes into garage having WATERPUMP , AUXILARY BELT AND TENSIONER .. but as garage are doing work they noticed that the oil pressure switch is broken to due to aux belt hitting it and snapping it … I then call JAY MAX MOTORS to confirm and he spoke to me like absolute crap thinking I was lying or something like that …. so I had to get OWNER OF GARAGE TO SPEAK TO HIM… But even though engine is done under warranty .. I’m still having to pay or payed REAR CALLIPER £200 FRONT BUMBER £250 CAR INSURANCE EXCESS FULL CAR DETAIL £220 AUDI HEALTH CHECK £60 MAX MOTORS ARE AN APALING COMPANY AND STAY CLEAR .. FROM 0 TO 10 RATING DEFINATELY 0 JAY HIMSELF IS SO RUDE ABSOLUTY APALING AND WOULDNT RECOMEND MY WORST ENEMY TO BUY A VEHICLE FROM THESE CONMEN!!!!!!!!!

Typical Ungrateful customer ! What more can I say, I'll let the reader make there own mind up about my company. We have sold 1000's of used cars over the years and I believe we have a fantastic reputation and are very good to deal with. I can honestly say customers like you are 100 % a Car dealers worst nightmare. Just Take a look at yourself ! You turned up at our premisses at a ridiculous time of (9:30pm) out of the blue without making an appointment! Rather than Us saying to you 'sorry were closed', out of courtesy we took the time out and let you view and test drive the car and even helped you get your Finance, did you know your credit score was so poor that the finance took weeks to go through! Despite having other Buyers literally queuing for this car who were offering to pay more than advertised We still reserved it for you. It was the cheapest in the country and people know the a4 3.0 Quattro s line models are creeping up in price. The car you purchased had over 120,000 miles on the clock, its never going to be in brand new condition, you called us up 2 weeks later claiming there are scratches on the paint but were reluctant to show any proof of this. Anyway as a gesture of good will we paid you blindly. Things go wrong on cars thats life. normal people will understand this, And Like any reputable car dealer we did offer to collect and repair the vehicle, but you insisted it to be taken to your chosen garage whom we paid in full for all the work agreed AND MORE totalling to almost £700. It would have cost me less than half this price in Peterborough. I just cant understand why your crying like a Baby and calling us conmen lol, When really you should be saying Thank you Jay for selling us a great car and paying for repairs and maintenance. :)
I bought a BMW from Max Motors back in April. The car was in reasonably good condition and was a fair price. The service was good and the salesmen were all helpful. I have had no problems with the car up to now. Good dealership.

Spoke to bloke 3 times over the phone about a car. I was told a car has full service history, invoices etc. So I have done 250 miles by train to buy that car. Ended up going back home with out nothing. Car had two stamps in service book including one they done, none other paper work because I was told it was car from auction. but he said they call it full service because they done last service LOL Sat nav did not work and just minutes after I started this car engine light came on and obviously they did not know about it. They are telling what you want to hear just to come over and buy. I wasted all day and £220 for train ticket.
