This is the second car I have brought from Lookers and both times I have dealt with Richard Rapley and must say his service has been great finding me the exact car I wanted both times. As I was going on holiday when the car would be ready he offered to deliver it to my house which was great service. Very professional I will definitely return for my next car
Where do I start..... Throughout the sales process all appeared fine. They convinced me to get the paint and seat protection and assured me it would protect my paint and seats throughout the duration of my finance. Fast forward 3 years... Took the car in for regular service. Upon getting the car back discover now a massive patch of paint missing from my bumper !!! Tried TEN TIMES!! To get hold of the service manager to discuss the matter. Just to be constantly told he would ring me back urgently. Enough is enough I then had to drive the 45 minute back to the dealership to discuss the matter. I finally managed to speak with the service manager who just tried to pass liability on to me and insist the damage was due to stone chips. Quite simply the damage wasn’t there before hand..... they finish with the car and then all of a sudden it is there !! After a long battle with the service manager they finally agree that the body shop will contact me to organise a repair! I’m yet to receive this phone call and no doubt will have to drive 45 minutes again back just to fight to get seen! Absolutely disgusting service from this dealership!! Please do me a favour and just don’t take your car here!! Go to Dartford, go to Ashford just don’t go here.!!
I just bought a nice car, they fixed any minor scratches (since it was a second-hand car) I have seen on the spot within 10 minutes and the service is outstanding. Customer service is great and I was in great hands with the sales employee Rummy who is really lovely and was really informative and honest. Would recommend this place.
Really impressed with the quality of service provided by Mr Singh and Mr Phillips of Mercedes Benz Maidstone. They were attentive, patient, helpful and provided exactly the car i was after. I was communicating from Coventry (150 miles away) and totally reliant on the honesty of the two said salesman; who delivered on their promise of a luxurious, clean, low mileage, E-class Mercedes. When i collected the car after travelling 150 miles i was blown away with their service. I would highly recommend this dealership if you are looking purchase a luxury Mercedes Benz. Thank you
Tried to buy an expensive used from here, there were delays, misunderstandings and lies, ended up cancelling
I was a little reluctant to change my car during lockdown due to the limitations with regard to no test drives and not being able to have a good look around the cars that I might have been interested in. However, based on the previous experience I have had with the car sales department at this dealership I was confident they would look after me and I wasn't disappointed. I am delighted with my new car and would like to thank everyone involved in preparation and hand over process.
My experience with this main line dealer was disgusting, I took my car in as I had a leak in the roof, I knew what the problem was as I had taken it to a mercedes franchise, After having my car for two weeks and no work started due to staff self isolating I was then told that the work had commenced on my car on the tuesday, only to find out on the friday that the member of staff and had lied to me and they hadn't even started work on the car, after speaking with the service manager he eventually got the work started and I eventually got it back three weeks later. He also informed me that the cost had gone up but I refused to pay as I had already agreed a price, I feel this was not wear and tear and after speaking with their head office in Milton Keynes who are just as bad I am now taking it up with the board of directors to get my money back.
I was really interested in buying a E220d Coupe in a specific colour and Maidstone had one. Terry, the salesman, was really helpful and sent two videos, which highlighted any flaws, pre and post prepping. Overall he was quite honest and attentive. I didn't go ahead because I went off the colour and Maidstone was too far to travel in the end (I live in North Wales). Thank you Terry.
Andy responded to my complaint by offering to charge me for replacement components they should have replaced during the warranty period. It appears they're happy to replace faulty components when they can charge the customer for the repair. When I asked why these components were not replaced during the warranty, I was told that clearing the error code from the onboard computer counts as a suitable repair. Absolutely shocking service!!!!! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The worst dealership I have ever dealt with! I bought a new Mercedes from them back in 2017. For two years straight I’ve have had the same issue with the car which they have never been able to fix. They have attempted to fix the car 4 times. And now the car is out of warranty with the same issue they have failed to fix, they are trying to charge £170 + VAT to read the error code on the computer. And then subsequent charges to fix what they should have fixed during the warranty period. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!!!! THEY ARE VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL WHEN YOU'RE BUYING A CAR AND COULDN'T CARE LESS AFTERWARDS.
Omg ‘ this is the worst garage I have ever used, booked my car in for a dynastic check in November 2019 , noise coming from engine on tick over ‘so the result came back’ the air flow Sensor “ cost £356.00 three weeks later engine light came on ‘ made contact with Mercedes’ I was told to bring the car back ‘ I am a cab driver’ so more money lost, it is now December. Done Another diagnostic check ‘ did not find the problem but got the car back no light on. Omg one week later light on again and car gone in to limp mode. Was told to bring the car back. So left the car got a lone car 14th December’ no work again, I was told by the service manager it was in good hands. And they will get to the problem. Well after three missed Diagnostic checks ‘ and my self still out of work 20th jan I said to the service manager’ what was going on’ he said lhave not come across this problem before. The next step was to remove the engine at a cost £4,300 knowing I have been out of work all this time’ wasn’t interested’ I then took my car out of there’ and found a more professional service .ware this garage done a dynastic check the same day. It was the timing Chain that needed to be replaced ‘ Wasted all his time at Mercedes Maidstone when I found a more professional garage to do the job in ten days at a quarter of the price
