I bought this car from mercland about 2 months ago and drove it for about 4/5 miles on a test drive before making the commitment to buy it. I paid £6990 for it and mercland told me it would need to be prepared and valeted before they would deliver it to me in Cambridge. I waited about 10 days for delivery and as this was free of charge I was not too unhappy about the waiting time. On the day the car arrived, I checked it over and found the car to be quite dirty on all of the windows inside the car and some of the bodywork was not too clean either. This is despite their claims that they meticulously check all of their cars before delivery. This obviously was not the case with this particular car. On the day of arrival, I parked the car on my driveway, and later in the day, I decided to take the car for a long drive down the M11 close to my house in Cambridge. When I engaged reverse gear to back out of my driveway there was a delay of about 3/4 seconds before the gear engaged and when it did finally engage it did so with quite a thump. This particular car has the 7g tronic auto gearbox which I subsequently discovered is prone to all sorts of glitches and faults some of which are costly to repair. So to cut a long long story short Jay Manek of Mercland insisted that there was no fault on the gearbox and that delay and thump when engaging reverse gear was perfectly normal for this model. ( absolute rubbish from someone who is supposed to know Mercedes cars inside out ). Mercland agreed to let me take the car to my local Mercedes specialist on 2 separate occasions in order to solve this gearbox problem that they said did not exist anyway!!!!!!. I also consulted Mercedes main dealer in Cambridge and explained the problem to them. They agreed that this was a fault in the system somewhere and that this would need further investigation. Mercland refuse to sanction this and after 2/3 months of protracted wrangling with Jay Manek of Mercland and to some extent also with Janki Manek ( His wife ) they agreed to take the car back and refund my purchase price of £6990. I wanted the refund as soon as they had the car and all relevant paperwork back on their premises but they told me if I wanted an immediate refund I would have to return the car to them in person and then wait a short time for them to process my refund. This happened this morning. I met Janki Manek and handed the car over to her with 2 keys. She was very business-like and unfriendly, she did not at any time say Hello, pleased to meet you, sorry for all of this trouble you have had, she just asked me to sign a receipt for my refund and asked me to wait while Jay Manek processed a bank transfer refund to my account. This Jay Manek is so rude, he did not come out to meet me to shake hands and introduce himself to say sorry for all of the problems, etc etc. Mercland will give you a lot of hype on their website about how they care about their customers and how professional they are. This is bullshit. I waited almost 3 months to get my money from them and even then I felt it was all done begrudgingly. No apologies or smiles or thanks for bringing the car back. When I returned home I accessed their website and to my amazement, I saw the car I had returned advertised for £7500 which is more than I paid for it 3 months ago and with an added 3500 miles on the clock but with no mention of the gearbox fault. In fact, the advert clearly states that the car is in A1 condition. This is a blatant lie. The car has a gearbox issue that has not been solved and if you are thinking of buying this car try reverse gear repeatedly when the engine is cold and the fault will be very obvious. You have been warned,. KP58 EDF has an unresolved gearbox issue which could be very expensive to repair

Sell you a car at near retail value, put an mot on when there are faults sell the car back to them 1 year on at 1/2 the price wounded they sell on and fail to redeem the tax for me still running around at my expense been told that it’s been done correctly where is the delay refund, By the way it had a new mot yesterday by the new owner decieteful or what I wait for their response.

Very happy with ml350 purchased in April. Great price and lovely people to deal with. Jay sorted out a few minor things missing for the car, highly recommended, thank you Jay and staff, would definitely recommend and will return if looking for another Merc.
Cannot recommend these guys enough. Bought a R Class over the phone, didn't view, just took Jay and his team at their word. As always with used cars few little bits needed fixing and despite COVID, they sent all the parts and booked the car in ASAP covering the warranty time just in case. I had been looking for a good E350 but wanted a specific colour and trim, cavansite blue with beige leather interior and pan roof. This specification is not so common but I found the ideal car at Mercland with 18,000 miles on the clock. Travelled the 150 miles to see it and bought it on the spot. When I went back to pick it up the car was well prepared and looked a million dollars. Any small discrepancies ( chrome badge and handbook missing) were dealt with very swiftly. All in all, a great experience and I would recommend Mercland to anyone looking for a great value Merc. Harry D
Had a few Mercs in my time and always found to be reliable, so when i decided to change my car i searched on Autotrader and came across a very nice E Class 220 cdi, the colour i wanted and super low mileage, i read on and everything else was exactly what i was looking for, bearing in mind this was mid evening, i then noticed i could enter a queriey in respect of price and my part exchange, i completed the brief details and thought that was it, next minute there was a reply from "Jay" giving me exact details & figures that suited me, i agreed to the purchase, then thought i have not heard of these people, so done a few searches on the web and all the feedback looked good. Within a few days i was on my way to Nuneaton to collect my car i had not even seen only pictures on the web site, now bearing in mind we have the dreaded COVID things ain't that easy when buying a car, we exchanged paperwork, i was given my welcome pack with my six month warrantie, the car was brought round for me to inspect, it was quite obvious the car had been cleaned and polished for me, it was immaculate on the outside and inside was just the same, little dissapointed the fuel guage was on the red but hey i was on a garage forecourt with fuel pumps, got home and done my full inspection, tyres were like new, full 12 Months MOT, nothing been left, was beginning to think it was to good to be true, the following day i went round to a friends and we were both looking over the car as you do, from top to bottom. When i went to go the car would not turn over the battery was dead, had we left the doors open to long and flattend the battery??? i Contacted Mercland and explained the situation and said i would get some jump leads and get it going of which we did, got it home charged the battery and ordered myself a new battery, i contacted Mercland and explained what had occured, shortly after i got an E Mail from Jay who asked if he could send me a battery, i explained i had got one ordered and sent them a copy of the order, within two minutes i got a ping and Jay had sent me the total costs for this replacement battery, service ot what?? I really cant fault the service, it's no frills but with some great touches, just being valued as a customer and feeling that is really nice, and to find a service where the people are approachable, 10/10 for me all the way, i really do think i'm part of the "Mercland" family, Thank you Jay and to all your team.
I can't recommend Merc Land highly enough. Had a great experience on both occasions. Looking at the black Mercedes c220 d sport estate. The guys were friendly and helpful. The car was immaculate, fully serviced and MOT'd. I was confident from seeing their website to purchase. Well done Merc Land.
