xcellent experience with a friendly and knowledgeable sales staff ,not pushy on trying to get you to buy the car.they gave me 12 months mot ,service and warranty at no extra cost , I m so please with my car thank you mex cars , i definitely recommend mex cars to any one looking for a used car

(I wish there was an option for a no star rating) DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE 12 month AA basic breakdown cover, nor the 3 months warranty as in my personal experience they have no intention of honouring the warranty. They claim to work in partnership with a garage in Brentford which I believe is either a lie or they are working together in a scam claiming to fix issues which come back unresolved. They will even go as far as producing receipts for the work they claim to have done, dragging out the issue until the 3 months warranty expires and therefore are not liable to pay for any repairs. I have found MEX CARS owners to be extremely deceitful. I purchased a Peugeot 207 convertible from the Isleworth based car dealers in June 2017. In less than a week the car was misfiring and displaying error messages. I was given a 12 months MOT and was informed before I purchased the car that it had been serviced and there were no issues. MEX CARS claimed the error messages were due to a faulty sensor which the Brentford garage mechanic apparently fixed. I was asked to collect the car about a week later. The very next day the same error messages came up and I took the car back, leaving it with them for at least a further 4 weeks before collecting it. Within this time there was no communication and every time I telephoned them they’d get upset claiming that “If they keep calling the garage it will take longer to fix” Hmmm HOW SO? On collecting the car I found that the error messages were no longer being displayed and the car seemed fine. However after a couple of weeks smoke began to exit from the exhaust just in time as the warranty expired. To be on the safe side I decided to get an engine service with another garage Zacs Wheels as it was closer to home. When I collected the car the first thing the mechanic asked me was "when was your car last serviced? He nearly died when I told him that it was June 2017 as I was informed this by MEX CARS. The mechanic showed me everything he had changed and explained how each part should look if they were new. The parts changed were disgusting! If MEX CARS can lie about a service, nothing else is beyond them. I pray that no one else has to go through this.

Mex Cars were absolutely fantastic extremely helpful and genuine staff, im please with my new car I would recommend them to friends , thank you mex cars for the good deal.

Awful. Bought a SAAB 9-3 Convertible of these jokers!! Week later the exhuast fell off. My current problems with the car after owning it three months: -> Convertible roof does not work -> Cant indicate right -> No exhaust -> Needs a service ASAP -> No windscreen washer pump -> Front bumper hanging off -> Cant operate my full beam. They will act like they will fix it but they don't they let is fall out of the warranty and then don't contact you. Hopefully if you read this you will treat it as any other garage with bad reviews and turn straight away from the website, DON'T THINK OH ONLY A FEW PEOPLE HAVE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE AND I WILL BE OK BECAUSE YOU WON'T. Now in a position were i paid for a car for £2,700 and its now worth £750.

I was lookiing for a car that met with my requirements for ages at the right price and ended up at Mex cars. I couldn't have been happier with the car, a great little runner and the service and help was second to none. Great place - I've recommended all my friends to come here and they have also been very happy with the quality, the price and the service they received.

I bought a car from them in July 2015 and wish I hadn't bothered. Only after 2 car payments it spent 2 weeks in a garage getting over £1500 of repairs. Mex Cars couldn't care less said it wasn't their fault. Unfriendly and not helpful. Missing bonnet pedal from the start. They said they will sort it and post to me. Still waiting!!! Now discovered a water leak in drivers foot well. Would not recommend to anyone. Stay away!!!

We bought a Volvo as a family car for us and our new baby. The day we drove it home we realised the air con didn't work. We didn't think much of it as we thought it wouldn't be a huge problem. A few weeks after buying it we realised that occasionally the car lost power, and a few days ago the engine warning light came on. We had AA warranty and they wouldn't cover any of the issues as when Mex Cars serviced it before we bought it they taped up the engine tubes as they had split instead of replacing them. We lost power at a roundabout after pulling out into oncoming traffic, this car is un-roadworthy and risked the life of myself, my husband and my 5 month old baby. There were 5 faults with the car all of which we were told were due to incorrect servicing. The garage offered us a 3 month warranty. After dealing with the AA we were 6 days out of the warranty. They have washed their hands of it even though we were sold a vehicle not fit for use and rather dangerous. Devastated to have put my family in this position the car is now going to cost £1000 to fix. Do not use Mex Cars in Isleworth.
