Left a deposit for a car, test drive showed steering fault and they refused a refund, bent mot on car.

If I could give a 0 star I would. Sold me a car with a “third party interest” on it that was found when a vehicle check was completed after I paid a £200 deposit. Told me that the “previous owner cleared the finance” then 5 mins later on the same phone call said there was never any finance on the car. Their calls are recorded so I’m sure they can verify this themselves. Said I signed the paperwork to say deposit was non refundable, I’m in Belfast and they’re in England so I’m not quite sure how that happened. But I did receive an email with the receipt for the despiser. Non the less, I understand there may have been a non refundable deposit policy but this was before there was any issues with the car. This policy is surely redundant as the car is not fit for sale. Should have looked at the reviews before I paid the deposit as you can see they’re cowboys. Stay clear.

Useless, rude and can't do the job they're being asked to do. Can't fix a basic problem when it's been reviewed by many other garages who said the same problem! Then tried to bluff us and say it was fixed but we picked the car up and an engine management light was on. I WOULD RATHER RUN ROUND ON MY FEET LIKE FLINTSTONES THAN GO NEAR HERE AGAIN

⚠️ WARNING⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ For anyone thinking about buying a car DO NOT BUY from Motorhub Keighley I purchased a Skoda Superb from Motorhub Keighley on 21/04/22 with 3 months warranty! I have been trying to contact them since the 24/04/22 to report some problems I am experiencing. They hang up on me & don’t return any calls when I leave messages. They also refuse to acknowledge or respond to emails. I now realise they have done this a lot to other customer’s. They are liars and cheats please do not buy a car from them it’s not worth the risk. Check out the reviews on Google and Auto Trader I wish I had before buying my car. All I can do now is warn others so they don’t fall for the same lies I did. Please help me by sharing this with family and friends

Called on a Friday to make an appt and was told car wasn’t ready to be viewed until after weekend. I’m disabled at the moment and live 2.5hours away which is a 6 hour round trip including an hour to see the car and costing £70 in fuel. So asked for a video of the car regarding any imperfections, fair request if they’ve nothing to hide..didn’t get the video until I hounded them 3times on the Monday and then they sent me a 30second poor quality clip of the car in a dark underground car park in a parking space surrounded by other cars ..didn’t focus on the bodywork at all didn’t even bother to open the doors to show inside condition…disgusting attitude to customers and look at all the negative reviews they can’t all be wrong !!! If it looks cheap there’s definitely a reason here with this circus ..Worth paying more elsewhere than contributing to this lot keep trading.

i wanted to buy a car that they had (misubishi outlanders) which didnt have a m.o.t on it . i asked them to put one on for me and i would buy it but was told NO! i could buy it and then drive up the road and put one on myself . instant red flag in my opinion !!!! very unhelpful . lost my sale and went elswhere where i got very good service . WOULD NOT RECCOMMEND TO ANYONE .
