DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I stupidly bought a car from this garage without seeing it first. I had a finance in place from a different company and saw this car on auto trader. And as I lived far away rang about the car and asked in detail was there anything wrong with car, what was the condition of the car and was there any damage. Was told no the car was excellent and if there was anything minor we have a bodyshop on site so dont worry. I went ahead with it, turned up to collect and noticed straight away the left wing mirror glass was smashed, there was big bits of black trim snapped off and missing off the front and a big piece of paint peeling at the front of bumper! When getting into the car we also noticed the reverse camera didnt work. When we questioned all this the guy "matt" got very agitated quickly. Said he wasnt willing to fix anything on the car and wouldnt even replace the wing mirror. Denied that anyone would tell us the car was in excellent condition and said he doesnt know why they told us they would fix stuff in the body shop because that wasnt true! Also tried to say he didnt advertise the reverse camera as working so he hadnt been deceitful. I explained that car came with a reverse camera and of course you never advertised it as broken nor was it mentioned when I asked If there was anything wrong with the car so of course it is. We then GLADLY noticed on further expectation that all down the left side of the car had been in an accident. You could see the ripples in the body work where it had been repaired. When questioned this he shyly looked at it and said " I hadnt noticed that before" we gave him the keys back and told him we would not be buying this car. I rang my finance company straight away and put in place to retrieve the funds back. This company took nearly 2 weeks to send the money back knowing they had to legally but obviously wanted to make me wait! And they have now put the car back up for sale with the same advertisement and not stating any faults or accidents. Which I will be further reporting. Stay well clear of these people.

Recently bought a car from these with faults. Terrible customer service in trying to get the issues resolved as they don't answer their emails and you are forever chasing them up to get sorted. They have no customer support whatsoever.

I dealt with Mike. He was a pleasure to deal with. Very helpful and polite. Left me to it when test driving which I think is great as you feel more at ease. Will definitely recommend Motorclass.

Motorclass are an untrustworthy, unscrupulous & deceitful dealer. The most horrible buying experience that has put me off ever buying a used car. Land Rover Discovery Sport delivered and found not as described - missing door handle, no sat nav, paintwork marked in several places and no tailgate gesture control. This was even more frustrating as the price was at the high end of the range for age and spec. Car was rejected and not signed for after several calls to dealership while delivery driver still had possession of car. Dealership was not even interested in resolving issue. After several hrs of phone calls I had to go to work. Car was not signed for and left delivery driver with car outside my house & clear agreement with finance broker that car has been rejected, which the driver was aware of. After we left home, dealership asked delivery driver to leave rejected car on my driveway & post keys through my door! Dealership owner then continued with a series of lies to finance broker that we accepted the car. Dealership kept stalling and refusing to provide relevant info to broker for several weeks. We never moved or used the car and wasted money on a rental car all through this period. After several threats including informing the police that a car we did not own or are the register keeper of was parked in our drive way, we finally got car returned, finance cancelled and deposit returned by broker after almost 3 months. DON'T EVER USE Motor Class even if they are the only dealership on earth, or you will regret it! Only gave 1 star because 0 star wasn't possible.

When we first arrived Craig met us with the keys we was left to view the car at our leisure once we decided to purchase we where introduce to Rex who talked us through all our options in a clear and relax atmosphere all in all a very good experience would highly recommend Motorclass, they were great

Where do I Start, My experience had been very disheartening and I certainly wouldn’t recommend or buy from MotorClass in Wigan again. My transaction was probably one of the easiest they ever had, My wife saw a BMW X5 for sale here for 22k so we travelled 30 miles to test drive, when we arrived we were made to wait around for 30minutes before someone was able to help there was no one in sight. We took the car for a test drive and we’re very happy at this point, I had a few concerns one being the tyres were not legal and there was a few marks I wanted sorting along with a mark on the bumper, I was told all these things would but sorted but however this was not a brand new car so I would have to accept some defects, which I took as a fair comment, We paid a deposit and left. Roughly 3 days later I called the office to see if the car was ready and I was told it needed to have full brakes replaced all around the car and it may take a little more time to get sorted again I accepted this. I part exchanged my Audi Q7 as it was coming up to 10 years old, this car had a private plate on which I needed to remove, However I couldn’t do this online due to a gap in the road tax I advised the garage I needed to swap this after the new car had been purchased due to timescales so I was advised by the salesman a photo copy would suffice. This was not the case and about 4 weeks later the documents were returned to me saying I needed the original paperwork to enable us to transfer the number plate, so I called the garage and they reluctantly handed me the necessary paperwork. When I purchased the car I asked if I could use there insurance to get me home as I hadn’t had chance to change things over due to not knowing when I was able to collect the car due to the brakes and works that were needed, I got a call to say the car was ready and could I collect it, again I confirmed that I could use there advertised free insurance just to get me home, I was told yep no problems. Firstly when I collected the car I noticed none of the marks had been removed nor had the mark on the bumper so I thought no problems I would deal with these little bits myself, We made an easy transaction and drove away in the car! As we got around the corner we noticed the fuel light was on so we tried to search for a petroleum station as we didn’t know the area and were didn’t know the nearest one, we then came across a Tesco station where the car ran out of fuel On the forecourt and we had to push it to the pumps, I called the office and spoke to Mike the salesman who was let’s say “not interested” I realised I was wasting my time once again and Managed to get on our way. On the motorway on our return journey home we had the flat tyre monitor appear on the dash board so left the motorway to investigate further, there was a loud hissing and we realised that a rubber plug that was near to the side wall had become dislodged and it was evident the hole which was around 2mm should never have been repaired, so this cost me £230 for a new tyre, again the office were not interested. Once again we set off on our way home and around 3 miles from our destination we were shunted up the rear end by a third party, we exchanged details I again phoned the office to advise how I deal with this situation to be told they hadn’t put me on the insurance after all and again I was fobbed off, By this point I’m losing my patience. I gets home checking the paperwork and all the documents to realise the new car I had bought that had been serviced hadn’t been stamped in the service history, Again I called the office and was told “oh they must of forgot” and to take it up to there mechanic in Wigan and he would stamp it for me if I wanted it doing. When I returned home after a family bereavement I got several messages and threatening calls from the Director Alan Barton’s personal mobile, He was abusive rude and very arrogant, I told him I wouldn’t speak to him regarding the logbook from my old car if his tone didn’t change, He eventually apologised for the way he spoke to me and then we made progress to the matter in question. A couple of days later my car had a puncture in the rear tyre so I took it to the garage and found the car to have yet another plug in the side wall of the tyre that had dislodged and caused the tyre to deflate. This was the second out of four tyres that were defective. Again I called Alan Barton (director) who asked me to send a picture and he would send it to Dave at his garage that works on his cars, to again be ignored and not taken seriously Buyer beware the tyres used are Part Worn and not road legal. This company really is second to none for Fobbing people Off. Be Sure to be very careful and check everything as I’m sure you will find not all is as it seems at the time. You have been warned.

i bought a bmw e92 from MotorClass, one week away from my holiday ,on a saturday, i ask for the car to be delivered if possible the car was delivered on a thursday night, same day at about 4 pm i receive a call from motor class, telling me that the car is making a noise while driving, i was very surprised that the car is delivered by a driver and not on a trailer, the car normally was expected by 5-6 pm thursday, the driver arrived at 9-10 pm, and the front left wheel was not secured, bolts where not thight, the wheel was shaking as i put my foot on it, i realise straight away why the car was making a noise, when i asked the driver, when the car started to make a noise, he said :straight away after 5 minutes after leaving motor class, so motor class instead of advising the driver to stop the car, they forced him to make the delivery anyway when i call back motor class, the next day i ask to return the car, but they said that they dont know if the car can be returned, so they couldnt offer information about my legal situation as a customer, they agreed on taking the car back for a checking, the car was with them for 2 weeks while i was in my holiday, and i had to go there to collect it at my return from holiday when i inspected the car, i noticed that there was no checking made, there was a noise in the steering wheel from the initial delivery where the car was driven with a wheel shaking for 70 miles the noise in the steering wheel was still there, i asked them to provide me with papers about this checking wich i never received, and also a confirmation that they change the oil, thing that they said they have done, but in papers was just an oil check not a oil change, never received this papers so in my opinion lies after lies about the car beeing checked all four tyres valves where loosing air, i had to fix this on my own money, plus many checks with bmw dealer ship about the wheel problem and an oil exchange, a car driven with an unsecured wheel for 70 miles can cause many problem, and also can put people life in danger( delivery driver, myself etc.) at this moment car seems to have a power steering problem so very disapointed, about not accepting a return when the car was not in the condition that was seen when it was bought, about motor class tryin to deliver a car and leave the customer to deal with problems and not offering legal information about a return in this situation

My son Purchased a used car from this dealer the company has some lovely motors great at selling them but watch out if anything is wrong and you need to get it fixed, I accompanied my son he was also fobbed off so many times with broken promises and promise of courtesy car when he eventually took the vehicle back the courtesy car was not available and the after sales manager tried to provide a trade in to use which were not fit for the road after going to collect the car the work was incomplete in fact the worst after sales service you could ever have the miss fortune of receiving he was offered a refund but he is entitled to ask for one if he wishes, the owner ? However feels that by doing this this would exhonorate him however this does not compensate for the loss of use and the fact my son would have to look for another vehicle. There are thousands of used motors out there take a little advice buyer beware buy elsewhere save yourselves the worry of how you are going to be dealt with if there are any faults with what you buy because these people do not keep their word and for this they are not a reputable dealer in my opinion
