Now that the vehicle has been moved on, I feel I can take this opportunity to write about my experience with My Next Car. Back in March, I went to take a look at a Dark blue 1988 Toyota MR2 Mark. On the surface, it looked like it was in very good condition, but looks can be deceiving. But, due to my nativity, I still purchased the vehicle and took it on a 2-hour drive home where I started to notice it's the first issue. Whenever I slowed down the vehicle, the engine revs would drop to the point where the engine would stall. At first, I thought this was happening because of how I was driving it, but I later worked out that it wasn't and that there was a major mechanical issue with this vehicle. Now, I was sold this car with 6 months warranty. So I thought I would contact them and get them to resolve the issue. For the next few of months, I was constantly delayed with "Oh the mechanic is busy/away on holiday", "Call me back next week" or "Get a quote near where you live". I made numerous attempts to get a quote, but nobody could figure out why the engine was doing this. Sam didn't seem to care and wasn't interested in assisting me with my problem. There were a couple of other issues with the car as well. I'm under the impression that the MOT was done via a close friend, as I didn't quite understand how that car passed with its brakes (Had to really push the brake pedal to the floor in order to stop), headlights (They weren't aligned). The car also desperately needed a general service as well (The brake fluid was black and nearly done, the oil was quite bad, some rubber seals had worn away) and eventually, I found a rust hole on the side of the car, which looked like someone had attempted to fix it with poly filler and painted over it. You may get lucky at this place, but don't expect a good level of customer service if there's an issue. I just sold the MR2 at a loss because it just didn't seem worth the hassle of trying to push these people in actually standing by their warranty. It felt like that they had no intention of actually resolving my problems and just wanted the car gone. They were quite pushy during the initial sale, constantly reminding me that this was a classic and that'll appreciate in value. Well, Sam, it didn't appreciate in value and the only classic I got from you was a classic case of a dodgy car dealership. My advice is to be a bit more helpful with your customers and be honest about the cars issues.

To give an update on my review above, I was contacted shortly after I had posted this review by Hussain, the owner of the My Next Car dealership, to discuss the issues I had with the MR2. He was very apologetic for what had happened and also informed me that the gentlemen, who i named in my review above, has recently been dismissed from the company due to his general behaviour towards other customers. Hussain then offered to cover me for the costs I had paid for the cars repairs, and also some of what I had lost when I sold the vehicle (as you often lose money when you sell a car on), which I gladly accepted. I would like to thank him, and his team (as I had some emails from them as well), for making the effort in contacting me and being upfront and honest about what had happened. The issue has now been put to rest.
I’m a very proud owner of Mercedes C Class, my experience with the dealership was fantastic, I saw the car and collected it the following week, I didn’t even test drive the car as I had up most faith and trust with the team and the car drives superb. I also like to thank Ash and Paramjit who also paid for a new spare key. I deffinetley will recommend to friends and family and will surly buy my next car from them again. God bless you guys
I paid almost 40k for a car. Was told car was immaculate. When car was received in darkness I never noticed several issues. any of the team have no interest whatsoever. None of my issues are covered under warranty, they never respond to emails I would highly recommend anybody to avoid them. Please beware
Those guys are trustworthy, I had an issue with the car after the sale but they took it in warranty although I took the car abroad.

I purchased a BMW M Sport 525i from this dealership and have to say that it was worth every mile I travelled from Portsmouth to view/purchase. The level of customer service can be demonstrated by the fact that they let me drive the car away even though the electronic bank transfer had not fully cleared and, they posted back a briefcase to me which I had stupidly left behind. The car was in superb condition for its age and I believe the agreed purchase price to be a good and fair reflection. Only 4 days since purchase I know, but I would certainly highly recommend this company to all. Well done Sam and team!
Visit this family owned and run dealer if you want a great buying experience and the best choice of cars from classics to super cars. I bought a Bentley Brooklands after seeing an ad on autotrader. Everything was as it should be, condition, spec and the test drive went well. Great price for my old car in part exchange too. Collection as a little delayed due to time taken to change the reg plates. All cars come with parts and labour warranty which they honour well as I had a couple of problems in the first week of owning the car and My Next Car asked me to have the work completed and to forward the invoice. As promised this was paid and I now have my dream car and enjoying every minute of it. I would recommend My Next Car to anyone looking to buy a used or nearly new car.
