The experience as a whole was faultless, to be honest. I was a bit concerned as I got the train to the dealership, but when I arrived, the car was all ready to go. I have to give it 5 stars.

Car trade companies have a bad name as they buy in cars as cheaply as possible, take minimum time and cost on them before selling them and prices are pretty set across the market. However National Car Hub collected me from the station and gave me a cup of tea which makes all the difference! Thank you

The salesman was helpful, he answered all of my questions, and I’ve been enjoying driving my Ford Kuga.

I bought a Seat Ateca for my grandson, and he has been enjoying it with no problems whatsoever. The customer service was great.

The Fiat 500 I bought has been lovely. Everything was good, other than having to wait a little longer than expected for the car. I would give the dealership 4 stars.

I had what I can only describe as a shocking experience buying a car from National Car Hub. I am posting this because I don’t want anyone else to go through what I did. What unsettled me right from the start was how they chose to communicate. Almost everything was done by WhatsApp, which I thought was odd for a major purchase. Then I discovered they had switched on “disappearing messages”. I had never used that feature before and didn’t even know it existed. Why would any reputable business use text messages for agreements and then automatically delete them? During the sale we discussed the warranty several times. I was given the impression that I was getting a certain level of cover. After the sale, when the paperwork finally arrived, the warranty was worth almost £1,000 less than what I had been told. I immediately messaged them to complain, and their reply was: “prove it.” Of course I couldn’t – the proof had been erased by the very messaging setting they had chosen. This left me feeling deceived. I walked away believing we had agreed one deal, only to discover later that the actual paperwork was different and there was no way to show what had been promised. Before I raised these concerns they were friendly and responsive. As soon as I questioned the discrepancy, their tone changed to defensive and dismissive. I left this experience angry and deeply disappointed. I urge anyone thinking of buying from them to be extremely careful and insist that all agreements are put in permanent written form – not in disappearing text messages. I would not return to them and would not recommend them.
