Ronnie provides a fantastic service and he really friendly and helpful. He also provided delivery to the Isle of Skye what was a massive help. I definitely recommend next car and I will buy again from them.

Like most thought I was getting a good deal from an honest salesman but guy is an utter fud. Save your money go elsewhere or you’ll end up with a car full of problems whilst he bangs on about a 83 point check and a fresh mot you pick it up with a faulty glow plug that couldn’t be diagnosed, rear spring that are fitted upside down and not located properly and a tire that’s constantly loosing pressure and sold to you under pressure. Don’t know who does his MOT’s but with no advisors I’d guess at stevie wonder.

(you did not even speak with the owner of the business, the individual that you have gone out of your way to slander in your libellous review) Is this how you get your kicks, being vulgar and extremely abusive to women? Somehow you have completely failed to mention, that after you contacted us with the alleged issues, we offered you to immediately get your car booked in to the garage to get inspected, and take it from there. In fact, several times I had to repeat that this, as this is the procedure in which all claims are dealt with, but it was your choice to refuse, or maybe you are just incapable of comprehending that? We do not just transfer money for repairs on the basis “because I said so”. 2 months prior to you contacting us, this car went through an independent 83 point inspection, carried out by a profession and highly respected mechanic with over 40 years of experience, and also an independent MOT at one of the strictest MOT stations in town. There was not a single advisory on the MOT. We have every reason to trust their professional opinion and absolutely no reason to trust yours, especially since you were very reluctant for your car to be inspected for the alleged issues by the independent garage. And talking about fake personalities. We were initially under the impression that you were a decent human until that despicable, disgusting abusive rant you performed towards me over the phone, after I POLITELY offered you to book your car in for an inspection. As a professional and respectful business, with many thousands of very happy customers, we have zero tolerance for abusive behaviour, therefore you are now banned from entering our premises or contacting us over the phone. We will make sure to save that phone recording for future reference should it be required.

bought a van, head gasket blew, took 3 weeks or longer (cant remember as it seemed forever)to get diagnose and fixed. random phonecall to say van was ready out the blue. they did pay for cost of hirevan though up until my van was returned (STILL 1 week outstanding to pay) no follow up call after that. anyways put into another garage straight after return to find track rod end hangin off the car, front shockers gone, front lower ball joints shot. and its been in and out of the garage getting more work. i wouldnt recommend buying a van from them as they dont test them before sales as there mechanic said he didnt know head had gone when it was sold to me, that kinda summed it up in 1 for me then.

Hello John, We have just read your review. We are extremely disappointed that you feel that you need to air your views like this, rather than just simply pick up the telephone. You did not purchase a van with a head gasket issue (or any other kind of issue). This is obviously something that developed after purchase, and we immediately saw to it that it was repaired as quickly as physically possible, as we knew your van was important for your work. Obviously we can't legislate for the types of use sometimes commercial vehicles are subject to. Furthermore, we paid for a replacement van hire for the full 3 weeks, until your van was ready - whilst this was not something we had to do, we still went the extra mile and paid for the van hire for you, and the second your van was ready we immediately contacted you. It seems odd that as this all happened back in March 2022, yet this is the first communication we have received - some 6 months later, in September? The 7 year old van you purchased, with over 91,000 miles, had zero advisories on the MOT, which was carried out by an Independent MOT station, so I would question the numerous other items you mention (either that or the garage you took it to saw an opportunity to upsell), but either way, again, we would ask, why have you never contacted us regarding any of this? We only retail vehicles, we don't sell parts and labour. We hope you have no further issues with your van, John, but we stand by our vehicles, and we will gladly take your Vauxhall Vivaro van back against another, if you would prefer to part exchange it for an alternative vehicle. This guy (John) is obviousy some kind of a complete twat! and there is no doubt that this review is just designed to cause harm to a lovely small family business. A business I have dealt with a number of times now, and will continue to do so because of the exceptional service. Apparently he rates the vehicle 1 star for cleanliness, 1 star for value for money, and so it goes on, but he still bought the vehicle?? This doesn't make sense, other than to demonstrate that he is a bitter and twisted gimp

Found my new car very quickly at this local car dealers.. I'd say customer service was second to none.. Both Ronnie and Julia gave me honest advice on my new car and I couldn't be happier.. I wanted to buy locally and I'm just so pleased I walked into next car..

Started off well but like others it seems once money taken customer is always wrong . Thankfully systems in place for looking after consumers or I’d have been left with a pile of junk . Stay clear and go to a car dealer who cares about customer service . My faults were rectified but only after I took the problems further.

Dear James, Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. As a small family business, we strive, at all times, to provide the very best levels of customers service, and we genuinely appreciate any valid comments or practical criticism from customers which may highlight moments where we perhaps have not met our own very high standards, with the aim to continue to improve. This said, however, I'm not so sure much (if any) of this is valid. You seem to posess an economy with the truth that many a politician would be immensely proud of, so we think it would be for the best to simply let the facts speak for themselves:- On 28/07/21 you purchased an 11 year old vehicle with some 80k miles on the clock. Some might say that a vehicle is coming towards the end of its useful life by this age & miles, however this was a particularly nice Vauxhall Astra which appeared to defy it's age and miles. Prior to the handover the car had gone through an 83 point inspection to Approved Vehicle Preparation Standards by an independent garage and an MOT inspection by an independent VOSA licensed MOT station, which it passed with ZERO advisories. In September you initially contacted us regarding a suspected coolant leak from the car. We immediately, and without hesitation booked an appointment for you to attend a workshop to have this inspected and/or rresolved. After you cancelled, not one, but two appointments, and only after we stressed the importance of having a coolant leak inspected as soon as practically possible, you then appeared with a list of alleged issues the car has supposedly had (after you had taken if for inspection to some local third party garage). We had each and every single alleged issue inspected. Unfortunately we were met with comments such as "that's for you to find out", when we asked you a simple question about the issue you were reporting with the brakes on the car. You had informed us that the "brakes are all shot" and the "pads are down to the metal" when in fact, an inspection revealed that the rears pads were actually still almost like new (having been replaced prior to purchase) and the front pads were still in excess of 50% despite the car having been driven several thousand miles since purchase. During all this time we had, multiple times, offered you to take the car back for a full refund, simply because we'd much rather lose a sale than have an unhappy customer. You declined. We are more than a bit puzzled what by "systems in place" you are referring to. We personally provided you with a phone number for Trading Standards and Citizen Advise. But somehow neither of them got in touch with us. We can only assume, that you probably don’t have as much experience as we do dealing with garages and workshops, but from our experience, they do tend to "upsell" their services. The more "problems" they find, the bigger the bill... and we don’t think its particularly fair to badmouth our dealership just because some garage thought they can try and take advantage of you. You are, of course, entitled to your opinion, but we have thousands of happy customers to prove our customer service always has been at the highest standard. My dream of owning a sports car came true thanks to Ronnie and the team at Inverness . I got a super deal on a mint Toyota MR2 which has left me on cloud 9 ! His car warranty means nothing his attitude is shocking shouting and swearing on the phone he dosent care once he has your money even thou he knows the car has problems so all I can advise it too stay clear of this cowboy and spend your money somewhere eles this guy does nothing but lie

Having now purchased 2 cars for our family from Ronnie at Next Car in Inverness, I can honestly say that I would not go anywhere else. Next Car have single handedly restored my faith in used car dealers. Nothing has ever been too much trouble with all paperwork completed fully for me, and private registrations transferred. Both times the cars have been absolutely immaculate and we will be making sure friends and family don't look anywhere else.
