Come across a Instagram page advertising lease deals in the name of Niddrie Auto Group. They’ve taken money for a car deposit and it’s all turned out to be a scam - all looked legit being on companies house but the real Niddrie Motors closed in 2023. Advertising a car which when we investigated was really on a Mercedes forecourt in Portsmouth! They claimed their address was 75 Stanley Street Glasgow and when I’ve investigated, this unit was up for rent and I made a call, they confirmed this ‘company’ don’t lease the premises. Payment seemed to come up as a Bristol address. When I rang to question them they hung up on me and blocked both of our numbers. B***ards!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Really BAD place to be buying a car from, They take your money thousands of pounds CASH on hand, 4wks later your left with a repair, they don't want to know even if under 3 months warranty? So also left with a bill? When you contact them, The owner GORDON has the poor guy on phone lying for him to say he isn't there and doesn't know when he will be back? COINCIDENCE!!!

I purchased my Peugeot 308 Rolland Garros Nav CC last week. It was a pleasure dealing with Sean who, right from the first call, was extremely helpful. There was no pressure at all in the sale and he sorted everything out to make the experience an enjoyable one. They have some lovely cars in the garage. Highly recommended.

Really disappointed with our experience with Niddrie Motor Company. My husband and I have been looking for a while and found a few cars in the area. This company being the first on our road trip (we live in East Lothian). We arrived literally at opening time and were given the keys to said vehicle, no interaction at all. The car had mould growing on the back seats, back right tyre was flat and the condensation inside was dripping over us and our daughter. As you can imagine we thought this would be an excellent opportunity to negotiate on the price. Let's just say that was a HUGE no, we were a cash buyer and the gentleman was completely dismissive of us. We walked away and wouldn't consider any vehicle from this company. I mean I know we weren't buying a top end car but surely a sale is a sale. Feb 2019

Went to collect my Range Rover sport 2.7 hse from Niddrie Motor Company and was collected at the train station by billy he was very professional and was very welcoming when we got there was well I'm pressed with the car couldn't wait to drive it home to Newcastle the service was second to. None thank you so much for the help was only three days and I had my car finance sorted and the car was mine.

Billy at Niddrie Motor Company is a VERY rare gem in my opinion. I never write reviews, but since the reviews I read about Billy led me to consider a car from him, I feel it's only right that I add to the sentiment and confirm what a truly 100% honest man he is. I was interested in a vehicle but I couldn't have been further away from Glasgow without getting in a boat, opposite end of the country. He knew this, didn't pressure me at all, got the car and took excellent photos everywhere, especially underneath with torch light so I could see up inside all those dark gaps and spaces. I had paid a deposit to hold the vehicle until seeing those pictures (as the vehicle is such a good price I know it won't be there long) and Billy said "if you see anything you don't like on the pictures I will return your refund no probs". He didn't need to say that, and many dealers don't. I have lost deposits on cars before thanks to over inflated expectations based on their adverts and sales talk. I got the pictures, the car was beautiful above ground but underneath there were a few things which concerned me and I couldn't get up to see the car quickly so I asked for my deposit to be returned and hoping to get up to see it properly in a few weeks if the car is still there. I got an immediate reply confirming he is refunding my deposit. This is how car dealer's should be, how they used to be, how virtually NONE ARE any more sadly. After 3 years of shocking rip offs and lies from garages about cars I have bought, I almost feel like waiting until Billy gets the same type of car in again just to do business with him, and considering the ridiculous distance his place is from me, that's really saying something. You can TRUST this dealer, I can't recommend him highly enough.
