Bought a car with 12 months MOT that was carried out 2 day before purchase.when the car was looked over the day of purchase found that it had a leaking exhaust that had been sprayed to disguise it and 2 front lights not working and 1 of the tyre walls was badly cracked all around.after many phone calls it was quicky realised that the garage were not prepared to help and even said the tyre and exhaust could have been damaged on the drive home even though the previous mot shows the damaged tyre as an advisery..as a parent i have booked the car into a local garage to get the car safe and pay for the work myself..they will be reported to the relevent dvla department

Good morning, thank you for your feedback, we are very sorry to hear of your concerns, the vehicle had a full Mot, Service and we replaced the timing belt and water pump prior too you collecting it. Your son contacted us days after purchase with a few issues and we advised him to return it for an inspection, to date we are still waiting for the vehicle to be returned. With regards to your exhaust, yes, at its valet stage, the tip was sprayed silver to make it look nice, that’s no different to us polishing the body, windows and lacquering the engine bay, they are all done to make the cars look as best as they can be, I’m sure our customers would complain if we had dirty cars on display, you also complained that there was a hole in it and water was escaping from it, we tried to explain to your son that at the manufacturing stage there is a drain hole made in the rear silencer, this allows for water and condensation to drain itself instead of being sat in the rear silencer, you can look this up on Google or ask any mechanic, we always investigate MOT advisories. Our offer of an inspection and of any rectification work required still stands and hope you take up on it as we always want to go “That Extra Mile”.
Not even had the car 12 hours and it’s broken down we’ve rung the north west autos Blackburn and they’ve said they will ring us back they haven’t there knowingly in the wrong would thing twice before getting a car from here

Good morning Carla, Thank You for your feedback, we are very sorry that you had an issue with your vehicle after purchase, as you are aware, the vehicle was collected by us and bought back to our workshop, a sensor had failed and is on order, you should have you vehicle back soon and fully repaired. Once again, we are sorry for the inconvenience that it has caused you, every vehicle sold gets a Service, Mot and a full road test, however, we cannot stop or predict electrical component failure but we can promise you that we will be there every step of the way with you.
Great garage with lovely staff. No pressure sales just simple and easy transaction. Car was just as described and very happy with the service received. No problems recommending NWA.

What a dreadful experience from start to finish! Car condition was much poorer than the photographs depicted. Despite a 10 day wait for an MOT, water pump and cam belt change, 3 of the 7 seat belts found not working and a number plate was cracked. 2 belts found at the time of sale and acknowledged, another seat belt and rear door lock mechanism failure found after the sale. It took no less than 2 months to get a change of keeper, despite numerous calls to be assured the V5 had been sent off - only then to discover the entire original V5 was given to me at the time of sale. The receptionist did not know what a V5 was, and our sales assistant was oblivious - with a few (of many) interactions foremost in my mind: -Asking me why she had left a note to herself to call me. -During a conversation about the V5, I was asked to hold the line for 2 minutes whilst another customer was let out. After an epic 40 minute wait, the line went dead, and when I called back, it was as though we had never spoken before, ever. -Absolutely no understanding of the significance of previous owners on vehicles. Called to speak to management and got put through to Admin, who then put me through to the sales assistant. Emailed the management, who replied with some disinterest and a sign-off as 'Ali', with no acknowledgment of the seat belt failures - despite being sold with a 2 day old MOT! Definitely, would not recommend.

Good morning, Thank You for your feedback, we are so sorry to hear of you experience. One of the reasons that we take on average 78 pictures per car, in a fully lit photo booth, is so any marks, big or small, are clearly demonstrated to our customers even before they visit the garage, the photos are taken from every angle, inside and outside, we also take full pictures of the engine bay. We sell approximately 150 cars every month, hence we will always request a 7 to 10 days turnaround, during this period a full MOT, Service, Cam Belt Kit, and Water Pump change is done, along side any other mechanical and electrical issues that are found. The number plate did require changing as a vehicle with a towbar had slightly damaged it whilst in our car park, this was done immediately for you. During the negotiating process, you pointed out a few minor defects, which were in the advert pictures, and a discount was given, normally this ends the matter, and we all move on. If you have a door lock and seat belt issue, please return the vehicle and we will address and rectify them FOC and with pleasure. We are slightly confused with the V5 issue, you would have requested it, at the point of sale for us to give it to you, normally, we send them off, therefor, if you had it why would you constantly call and question why it hasn’t been sent off? We try our best to please all our customers and appreciate any feedback give, however, we would like for there to be fairness and understanding whilst posting on line especially when buying older, used, second hand items.
