So enquiring about a car and also finance was very lovely man at Oak Street Cars kept me up to date etc. Called me to tell me i would qualify for finance but the monthly payments were a little too high to what i wanted. I informed him i wouldnt be purchasing at this time but thanked them. Received this: Thank you ever so much for wasting my time and effort to get you finance it took a long time as you have bad credit next time please don't look at my cars as we want sell you one. I felt this was uncalled for i let them know immediately but yet received this.

Bought the car Rav4 MK2 September 10 2014. First turbo went, had to get Toyota to diagnose the problem as Oak Street cars fobbed me off. Fixing the turbo took them a month. Spent over a grand bringing it up to standard. Then had cam belt changed, turned out the crank shaft and crank shaft pulley were so badly worn my engine could go at any minute. Quoted 2500 grand to fix. The cars a write off. Trading standards need to investigate Oak Street motors. Please don't ever buy a car from them.

Great sales patter but sadly not very knowledgeable, their cars are very poor quality. I bought a car with issues which they did not resolve, and although they had identified it they also failed to tell me that some components are no-longer produced so the issues cannot be fixed. Avoid Oak Street Cars.
