I purchased a Peugeot 206 2005 just before Christmas. It had very low mileage which was what attracted me to the car. I had seen a lot of potential cars in Bristol, Stroud and Gloucester, but my one was clean, all invoices and paperwork together and the general site greeting was friendly and helpful. I found the sales guy really lovely and they worked hard to get my car ready within 48 hours so I had it for the Christmas holidays. So far so good, and I will recommend friends to go there as there was lots of stock and a little bit more time and experience given than some of the others. Overall very happy with the experience.

I bought a Mercedes CL from Parkhill cars on 15th Jan 2015. I am more than pleased with my car and have had no issues apart from my dog braking the cup holder cover trim! I was looking up there number to enquire about a 5 door VW Golf GT TDi for my wife and came across this site. Felt they deserved a compliment as people are quick to criticise but not so quick to say thanks or write a positive review. Don't get me wrong, I know the risks of buying used cars but all I am saying is my car is great and the guys I met seemed alright, certainly didn't pressure me either like the evans Halshaw dealership in Cheltenham did! Hope this helps, I will let you know what the golf is like if we buy that too!

I brought a 2007 Citroen c4 picasso on 1st November 2014 for £2995.00 with 1 years Mot & 3 Months warranty. Just 5 weeks in to ownership the complete running gear has collapsed in the car rendering it un usable and un fit for purpose. After contacting the company for 10 days i was told to take it back to them on Saturday the 6th December 2014. Once i got there they told me there was nothing they could do and the problems were not covered by the warranty. After taking advise from citizens advice & Gloucestershire trading standards i found out that everything parkhill cars had told me was a lie. I called them again & told them of my findings to which they replied by telling me to put it all in a email & send it to them. That would of been ok exsept they gave me a bogus email address. I then text the boss who has since then and is still threatening me and calling me very abusive names and is texting me abuse continuously. I will not be dropping this case but must urge anyone thinking of buying a used car from Parkhill Cars to stay well away.

Do not buy from this garage!! We were sold a car being told it was in great condition ect.. to shortly after finding out there was a long list of things wrong with it and wasnt safe to drive..have got trading standards involved and it has been put under dangerous vehicle sold..when trying to call the dealer to sort this out had the phone put down on me and spoke to like dirt would never recommend this place!!!! Stay clear..

We bought a car and quickly found out the clutch flywheel was on its way out. Parkhill is about 25 miles from us so each time we went up it was a pain. We left the car with them and they denied anything was wrong with the car and the grinding sound was normal. I'm mot a dealer I'm a normal guy but I spoke to 3 independent jaguar garages all said if there is a noise something is wrong! On my 5 th visit to collect the car the noise was still there and I got the manager to listen he now said he could hear it and they will sort it out. The next day they rang me and said there was nothing wrong I asked for my money back and the manager said that's fine I turned up the next day to find the owner there and manager on a job. He said I can get my money off the manager but I'm the owner and I can forget it. I got frustrated and he kicked me off the site when I mentioned my rights he charged at me and shook my head with both hands saying go and get your f###### rights then. I will,press charges!

please don't buy from here, read other review sites and see what they have to say, I thought that it was just people nit picking and went ahead with a purchase. Ended up having to go to trading standards and did manage to get a full refund.

We went to parkhill cars from a recommendation from a friend who had purchased cars from them before and found them very helpful. on arrival I was welcomed by the young lad in the office, and after a little chat about what I was looking for he showed me around a couple of the cars that suited. he let me have a look round and test drive the cars when i was ready with pressure to buy, we sat down talked about the good and the bad on the cars i had driven and came to a deal. from start to finish they were very helpful and i would definalty recommend them
