STAY AWAY, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF ......My wife and I bought her Citreon DS3 in May 21, hadn' had a problem. On 4th January 2022, my wife was at work, her car fully locked, with no keys in the ignition, The lights and window wipers tuned themselves. When she went to the car, opened it, and put the keys in the ignition. The lights and window wipers turned off, and the car failed to start. In accrdance with her warranty, she called Peter Vardy who arranged for collection of the car that day,but couldn't look at it until a week later, (As they were that busy, ) Again in accordance with the warranty, she asked for a courtesy car (Which he warranty states is guarenteed), but they said they didn't have one, but said as soon as one is available its hers. Anyway, the recovery company came to collect the car. Before he took it, he did some initial fault finding diagnosis, He checked the battery and even try to Jump start it with his leads but to no avail. He then did further diagnostics in accordance with his report which we hold. He clearly stated that there was nothing wrong with the battery, and in his 30 years of experience, it is either the electrics or alternantor that has gone. The following week, my wife received a call from Peter Vardy, stating that they know what the probelm is. They said its not electrical, it needs a new battery which is not covered by the warranty and will be a cost to her of £230. After my wife got off the phone, she then searched her office and found the Recovery comapnies report, which clearly states that the battery was good. So, after spending 5 hours trying to get through to them, the only way to contact them was to go down. When went down there, we told them what the reovery drivers report said, They refused to believe it, they said that the battery was completely dead and thats why the car wont start and again he battery is not part of the warranty, so we agreed to pay. (Even though we stated that it a professional had stated it wasn't the battery). The next day my wife got a call from Peter Vardy, they told her that they had changed the battery but its still not working, they have ran further tests, and indeed the problem is he fuse pannel from which she requires a new one at a cost of £130 (Again not part of the waranty) So then we argued, so why are we being charged for a brand new battery, even though the professionals report stated the battery was good, and now your saying the problem lies with the fuse pannel. Anyway, they then agreed t waiver the fuse pannel charge and fit a new one, but still getting charged for the battery (That the car didn't need). A week later my wife got a call saying that they had changed the fuse pannel but the car still isn't working, they dont have an electrical expert within the Peter Vardy organsiation, so they are going to have to obtain one from an external sauce, at a cost of £80 an hour, billed to us. So as you can see, even though the warranty covers electrics, they have tried to charge us for everything else, And every diagnostic they have assure us it is. Isn't. We are now nearly 7 weeks still without our car, any correspondence. And yes even though the warranty guarentees it, We still haven't got a courtesy car because "There are still none available". Now people if you can tell me this is the kind of proffessional, customer services and honesty you expect from a dealership. Then knock yourselves out, but just be prepared for the warranty to not cover anything, spend hours on the phone and not get a call back, be told wrong infomation again that will cost you to fix, and you have more chance of winning the lottery than getting a courtesy car. Like i said "Peter Vardy, six month old car, warranty wont cover anything, no courtesy car and 7 weeks in and still no word". Its absolutely disgusting that they are allowed to opeate in this Manor. So again, i cant stress enough , KEEP AWAY, KEEP YOUR MONEY, and stay HAPPY.

a familiar story here, happy to take your money, couldn’t give a f*** after that. To cut a long story short; my car has been in their garage for 3 months apparently ‘held up’ by Audi’s backlog, absolute bs. Been lied to several times about when the car was going in. The issue has been there since I got the car 6 months ago, I’m not one to complain and do something like this, but I truly have never experienced ‘service’ like this. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!
I bought a Mercedes’ e class from Peter vardy in October and reported an issue with the car right away with the start stop system and was assured that this would be repaired, so here I am 9 weeks later with the same issue still unsolved. I had been dealing with Craig in aftersales but due to his ignorance and lack of knowledge in what he was talking about I tried to talk to his manager, even more ignorant he wouldn’t even answer or call me back. I eventually spoke to Christine in the complaint’s department who took up the issues, and done her best to help the situation. I was eventually approached by one of the directors (Scott) on my 3rd visit to the hillington branch, who took up all the complaints that I had, and has done his best to resolve these ongoing issues. My real complaint really is with the aftersales side of the business, it’s abysmal David
Last 3 cars purchased from petter Vardy Motherwell I’ve tried to purchase 4th but through petter Vardy cars online never again you have kids who don’t have a clue working for you instead of experienced staff never again Ever

Unbelievable bad service from start to finish. Proven liars by the finance company who voided and terminated our contract and took the car back. Basically their sales people don’t care about anything other than their commission. Mis-sold us a family car with numerous faults, including very large ticket items, which they refused to pay for when highlighted independently. Staff are chavs and openly rude about customers in front of other customers (I am firsthand witness to this). Lets face it you hardly need intelligence to work in these sorts of places. Never buying from or dealing with their Hillington branch again.

One of, if not the worst customer experience of my life so far. Bought a relatively new car for a modest amount of money. All great until driving the car home and it broke down 40minutes into the journey home. Cars break down, this is understandable. The customer service from here on in was atrocious. We were left without a car for 5 weeks whilst the car was recovered, worked on, promised to be returned, held up as the mechanics had fitted the wrong part and then belittled by the customer service manager. I had to repeatedly ask for my deposit to be returned to us after the sale. We had to spend money borrowing cars to tide us over until the car was returned to us. I was told that the anxiety I faced during the car being off the road was “just a little bit of stress” by the customer service manager who clearly had no time for me. Our family holiday was almost ruined as all of this happened 3 days prior to departure. Over 60 phone calls were made to the company trying to find out what was going on. I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT buy from this company again.
Bought a Renault clio discovered the back passenger door was a different door fro the other 3 which had electric windows this one had a winder on it questoned this with the manager who said and a quote this branch is a shambles ave just moved down from Motherwell branch got the log book in car has been in a category c smash so obviously we wonted a different car still nothing our car wee traded in has gone absolutely shocking attitudes all round
Bought a car - very helpful salesperson (Stephanie Carr) who waited behind to help us with our choice. Paid the balance and changed my insurance the night before it was due to be collected. Got a phone call on the day to say they didn't know where the car was and thought it might be in Dundee. Nobody called me back - had to call approx 5 times and eventually refused to leave my number for another call back and held for a manager. My husband had found the car in Dundee before the Glasgow branch knew where it actually was. Was told by Glasgow it was a starter motor issue but Dundee branch offered to sell it to my husband and said there was nothing wrong with the starter motor. A truly awful experience and a total waste of Annual Leave and time spent trying to switch my insurance details back to my original car.

This is the worst service I have ever experienced! I booked a test drive for an 18 reg Honda HRV. After a long wait, I was told the car could not be found! After another even longer wait, I was told it had been sent to Dundee! I was about to walk away, but got given the hard sell. They would have it ready in 48 hours, it would be valeted, they would add a Lifeshine body treatment for free. After 3 hours in the place, with lots of waiting around, I succumbed against my better judgement. I explained that I had to pick up the car at 12pm on the day as promised as I had a long drive to catch a ferry immediately afterwards. I turned up as arranged and was kept waiting-again! Neither salesman was available (Kim and Steven). After 3 trips back to reception, it was only when I threatened to walk away that someone came to see me (Jack). He explained that the car had a slight bump which was getting fixed, and would be ready shortly. I got the car at 2.40pm; it had no Lifeshine treatment as promised, and I had been charged for it. It had several scuffs and scratches, but I had no time to take matters further as I had a 7 hour drive to catch a ferry. For the next 3-4 days I tried to phone Kim and Steven; they were never available. They would phone back, but never did. I eventually got to speak to Michael Payne, a supervisor. He was apologetic and said I would get the £299 reimbursed right away. When this didn't happen I phoned and emailed him several times and got no response. I have since read other reviews for this company and it seems to be a tactic they use: ignore an unhappy customer and they'll go away eventually. How they are still trading is a mystery!
