Absolutely shocking service .I have never experienced such poor service from a car dealer in my life .Told to be at the branch for 1.30pm .By 2.45 I was still not attended to other than to be shown to a seating area.At this point I walked out and told the girl at the front door I was now leaving and not prepared to wait any longer .The manager then came running across the forecourt to get me to return to the premises and told me he would get me my car in two minutes .waited a further 10 min and he returned and told me my car wasn't ready .They the offered to drive me home which I took this offer and I am home with no car .Mind blowing .
After an initial hiccups with finding out that car we were about to buy got reserved 20min earlier, Andrew Brody was more than helpful. Contacting us next day to let us know that car is available. Good dealer. 👍
Rubbish experience. Purchased a car online, the first person I spoke to was great. He went through everything and wrote down all my requests etc and was very friendly. It was then passed over to Carz Glasgow and I waited for them to get back to me about the next steps. Phoned 3 times over the start of the week before I got through to anyone. Was waiting to see if it had been transported to my chosen pick up point. When I phoned, the person had no idea about it. On top of this, after requesting to pay my tax in a one off payment, they set up a monthly direct debit. Eventually went to pick it up in Kirkcaldy Peter Vardy, the staff were great here but hadn’t been told by the Glasgow team I was trading in my other car and leaving it with them. Had my car for almost 2 weeks now and had no courtesy call either. Was also supposed to receive a voucher as there was an offer on at the time I purchased the car, but I haven’t received this either however this comes as no surprise at all. Communication with the Glasgow Carz was horrific, had to chase everything up myself. Wouldn’t recommend.

Bought a lovely car totally perfect for myself and family... only it took 5 different people to actually complete the sale! Was given a point of contact who was on holiday.. was promised call backs for 5 days by all 4 who were involved to which on the 5 days i had to chase up myself! Still waiting and this is day 8 since i took delivery of the car... terrible service

Our second purchase in just over a year from the Hillington Branch, this time for my wife. Cannot fault the service from Michael and Craig. Have to give a special shout out to Craig Dick. He went above and beyond during the full process and looked after us extremely well and kept us updated on the progress of everything until we finally picked up the car. The whole experience was excellent and would certainly recommend trying it out. I would certainly go back

Honestly, I have no words for the Hilligton Branch. I bought a Renault Twingo 6 months ago. My first day I picked it up and went home straight away, after about 30 minutes I was going to leave for work. The car didn’t start. I phoned Peter Vardy and explained that my car isn’t starting so the next day they came and picked it up to change the battery. Everything was good, until 4 days later, my car wasn’t starting at Asda, I kept on trying as I had to get home, after about 10 minutes the car eventually started and I went straight to Peter Vardy instead. Apparently the Camshaft Sensor was faulty, this was changed. 5 months later I’m having same problems. My car isn’t starting, this time however it’s the Camshaft Actuator. At this rate I’m wanting to reject the car. So I put in a complaint to my finance company. A diagnostic was needed to prove that it was in fact the camshaft faulty once again. They weren’t accepting my dads (he is a mechanic) as it’s a conflict of interest, which is fair enough. So Peter Vardy took my car in and at first I was dealing with Sharon. Sharon took my car in free of charge and they expected me to pay £200 for a new camshaft. When I told her I’m rejecting the car, and I’m not paying this. She phoned me back 10 minutes later, without asking if I wanted the vehicle fixed she said “I have the parts now, I’m going to fix it now” I told her not to touch my car, and to not fix it. What was done? They went away and fixed it. Couple of days later, I personally went into the branch and spoke to George. George assured me that once my finance company contact them they will approve the rejection and I’ll need to give them back the second key and my V5 which was great. Next day, I phoned Peter Vardy to email my finance company black on white the acceptance of the rejection. When I got in contact with my finance company they read out emails that were going back and forth between them and George actually emailed them saying that he doesn’t know who I’ve spoken to and who approved the rejection of the car, because they don’t accept. Funny because I generally spoke to him? I then phoned George, and he denies emailing them this. This is honestly a complete joke and don’t recommend anyone going to this branch. This has been going on since the 15th of March. I also was denied a curtesy car, so I’m left with getting taxis to work.
Trying to get a trade in value & a deal done was made very challenging. Took me four phone calls over two days, even though I was told it would take one hour. Added value Products added without any information attached (£1081.00). Also accessories at (£238.99). David McKenna said he could take the added products off, but they accessories were due to Covid, petrol etc. David said the information was on their website, but I called via the Facebook advert, which had no added cost information attached. Also, the trade in value was £700 less than Arnold Clark, We buy any car, Bridgend motors etc against the same/similar models/price. Waste of time!
Had the worst experience ever with Peter Vardy Hillington branch. Bought a car in November 2019 from this store and I’ve had nothing but problems ever since, the staff are rude (well a couple of them). In February 2020 I got my tyre sensor light fixed, in July I got a new exhaust (which they tried to charge me for) because I had a hole in mines meaning I had used 350 miles in a week during lockdown when I had barley driven my car. In July my car was overheating whilst being at drive thrus or just on the motorway so I then had to get my radiator fixed, the day after I picked it up it happened again and it had to go back in and get fixed. In October my car broke down, a week after passing an MOT. I phoned Hillington and they refused to take my car or do anything and advised me to phone AA which was costing me £99 to get my car picked up but instead I called a tow truck and had my car dropped off at Hillington to try give the car back. The problem with my car this time was the timing belt had snapped and I needed a new engine at £2500 (they tried to charge me for this also). They had my car for 7 weeks in this time I had a courtesy car for 6 weeks, this was a fight to even get this, they tried to leave me without a car even though I pay my car, they wanted to leave me without anything to get to work etc. I then had to isolate due to being in contact with someone and explained they would get their car when I was able to bring it over which was in like 4/5 days and then I received multiple texts and phone calls to return this car or they would take matters in to their own hands, I was following the government guidelines and isolating but they just wanted their car back. They gave me a Citroen by the way, I’m not exactly going to run away with it. I then had to get my boyfriend to return the car and pick mines up. I had my car back for a week, maybe two and my front light broke, I got a mechanic to look at it and bought the bulbs for it and he explained I was to phone Peter Vardy because the full led strip light needed replace. Back to Peter Vardy my car went. I took my car over a day late but I explained on the phone I wouldn’t make it until the next day due to snow and they said that was fine. I got there and had my friend come with me to take me home because my car was to stay in and when the after sales department spoke to me she told me that I couldn’t get it fixed for a further two weeks because I was late so I told her that I phoned the other after sales member and she said it was fine to which she replied “I doubt she would have said that”. Basically saying I’m lying. I then said I would phone head office because it’s the only way I can get though to this store without being treating like am daft. I was about to drive away and another manager (the one that actually sold me the faulty car) came out and took my keys and then my car was fixed for the Wednesday (six days later and not the two weeks she said it would take). I picked my car up on the Wednesday and on the Friday I put my window wipers on and they started to jump and miss bits of the rain, I thought it was just new wipers I needed but then on the Saturday in heavy rain I was driving and one flew off, I had to look out the passenger side to see and get on, which is obviously so dangerous. I bought new wipers thinking it’s just wear and tear. Due to being on furlough and doing uni from home I barley used my car and when it was raining they started jumping again even with new wipers. I had a fear of using them in case it flew off again. I went to a local garage in my area and they quoted me £400 and he explained this problem could have happened when my car had been opened obviously off Peter Vardy. Now because I have no warranty they are refusing to take the blame and they quoted me £290 for the part which doesn’t include the labour. I would honestly rather fling my money away than give money to Peter Vardy. The way I’ve treated regarding this matter is ridiculous. If the fault was mines fair enough but it wasn’t. I used to wonder why I got told not to go to Peter Vardy and why it didn’t have as many stores but the obvious reason is the staff hired simply can’t run a business. I drive a corsa, anybody can see that it was clearly faulty and wasn’t looked after properly before and I’ve been sold it. I’m so drained with this car and have a genuine fear of driving it, paying all this money every month and I’m scared that my car might break down or my window wiper wiper may fly off. I will never ever buy a car from here again and I will make sure I tell everyone I know of this experience to make sure no one ever deals with everything I’ve had to. I feel mentally and physically drained from this experience. They are useless, please avoid this company.
AVOID AVOID ! YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. AFTER SPENDING HOURS FINDING THE CAR I WANTED. PAYING A DEPOSIT AND RESERVING THE CAR. HAD 5DAYS TO FINALISE. THEY WENT AND SOLD THE CAR TO SOMEONE ELSE EVEN DOE I WAS LEASING WITH A SALES AGENTE AND PAIDDDD A DEPOSIT ON THE CAR . PROMISED A CALL BACK TO EXPLAIN BUT MANAGER IS ALWAYS 'BUSY' WHEN I CALL. COMMPANY WITH NO PRINCIPALS OR MORALS. JUST CARE ABOUT WHO PAYS MORE AND PAYS QUICKEST.
Sadly we bought a car from this store which was delivered to our house in a dangerous faulty condition. Having been fobbed off with empty promises we are now 4 weeks in having had no use of the car and no refund to which we are legally entitled. Apparently brushing snow off the cars in the parking lot is more important than sorting out the welfare of the customer. All is well until they have your money and a fault appears on your car! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
