Very nervous about purchasing a WAV online but after many conversations with Andy decided on a VW Caddy Maxi. The prices are unbeatable and I would have paid a lot more at a local Birmingham WAV dealership. VW arrived in good condition and it drives like a dream. All the accompanying paperwork was very neatly and methodically included. Very happy.

I will list the problem I had with my Peugeot partner tepee bought from Pickering's
Car was in accident on the delivery has not been repaired by Pickering's
Exhaust has hole in it big enough to put your finger in
Glove box fuse box cover missing
Clutch shudders on moving away
Bumper and door ends missing
Very Rusty ramp
Trip computer has some elements missing from display

The customer requested a cash discount due to fabricated faults!! All our vehicles are serviced, road tested and throughly examined prior to purchase by an independent qualified mechanic, therefore we knew the customer was trying it on. We offered to collect the vehicle and offer a full refund numerous times however this was rejected. I think that says it all. Andrew Pickering (Director)

I was searching for a WAV online and was uneasy about buying a car unseen, however when you are disabled this tends to be almost compulsory… I found Pickering motor company online and was very impressed with the choice of vehicles and extremely competitive prices. I spoke with Andy on the phone and felt easier about the concept as he is a very genuine bloke. I decided to take a gamble on a car unseen, and am absolutely delighted with it. The photographs and description on the website were spot on, and the delivery was next day and at the time promised. A problem with the battery surface very quickly and I spoke to Andy, there was never any hint of a problem, he offered to replace it, or due to the distance (I am in Nottingham) for me to get it replaced locally and he would reimburse me. The after sale service from Andy is superb, completely unquestioned, my satisfaction was his only apparent concern. I would recommend this dealer to anyone, I am absolutely delighted with my car. My disability has come on fairly quickly and I was suddenly housebound, now I have a new lease of life and can get out when I choose without paying a fortune for wheelchair taxis.
I also recommend Chartwell insurance for WAV insurance, a cracking deal (30% cheaper than other "specialist" insurance companies, and with any driver over 25 at an extremely reasonable price I am now able to get out and about.

My husband Mick sadly passed away leaving me with the very difficult task of selling our Kia, bought only 3 months previously from Pickering. You can see from his comment above that he was extremely pleased with the service and the vehicle. As am I. I hope that our Rosie, as we called her, will give another disabled person a new lease of life, as she did to my husband. I cannot recommend Andy and Pickering highly enough.
