Do not use this garage !!!! I purchased a car (from a distance) and when it arranged I noticed there was some damage to the door. I could see that they had tried to cover it up but when confronted they initially denied it. They was dishonest, rude and it cost me £300 for them to take the damaged car back. Customer service was terrible, they tried to tell me that the car door needed tightening when in fact when I took it to see how much it would cost to repair, I was told the damage was extensive and that it would cost me between £900 and £1300 to put right. They denied any knowledge of the damage initially as it was not noted on any check however when looked at by specialists they pointed out that the car had very recently been sprayed and there was still evidence of tape around the door. Only then did they say they MIGHT of resprayed it. But they stated they did not have any record of this. I was told by a specialist the door safety bar had been comprised and the whole reason for the car purchase was for safety for us as we are planning a child. The manager was very awkward and did everything he could to make things difficult for us. We part exchanged our old car, when we asked for a refund they told us they had already sold our car which was not a problem, however a couple of days later they then told us that they had gone and got our car back (we did not ask for them to do this) and then stated we would then have to pay to return our car. Plus pay for the return of the car we purchased. They eventually returned our money a couple of weeks later Minus £300 for them to collect the damaged vehicle. Plus mileage put on the car (some which was spent going to garages as requested by them to see the cost of repair). I have sent them a letter as per instructed by a legal team and I am still not to hear anything back. I have never been so disappointed and disrespected in all my life.

Well done Plympton Car Centre. The long haired general is extremely happy, so of she is then I am. You excelled in your customer service to have, even though minor, issues sorted in a very fast turn around. Communication was excellent, vehicle is excellent all done seamlessly which in the current climate is no mean feat. Very happy all round.

Staff seem at Plympton Car Centre to be helpful at time of purchase but not when the car develops issues! Car cut of the day I purchased... kept in constant contact with Stuart and Adam and they were no help at all.! Both rude and full of excuses! Was hassled 7 times within 15 minutes with begs and bribes! Adam offered me a cheque of £200 if I went through with the repairs for inconvenience... but wouldn’t cover the £200 recovery cost!! Ended up loosing out on £200 as they charged me for recovery of my faulty vehicle! Took it to a garage they recommended and the car showed 6 fault codes when plugged in! Was advised to return by the garage they recommended! AVOID.
