I recently purchased a used car from Premier Car Supermarket, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. The car I bought was in excellent condition, and I felt as though the pricing was very fair. I was pleasantly surprised with the value I received for my part-exchange vehicle.
What really stood out was the level of customer service. They made the whole process easy and straightforward, even arranging to collect me from the local train station.

I contacted PCS Kettering to book a test drive for a vehicle, and I explicitly stated that I would only be available to attend on next Saturday, 7days later. I was assured by their sales representative that this would be acceptable, on the condition that I paid a £99 reservation fee. I inquired directly whether the fee would be refundable in the event that I decided not to proceed with the purchase, and he clearly confirmed that it was fully refundable with no mention of any conditions.
Following my payment, I was informed by the Sales that he would be on annual leave on next Saturday, and I was asked to reschedule the test drive. At his request — not mine — we agreed to move the appointment to next next Saturday, 14 days later. This delay was entirely at the company’s behest, not my own.
On the day before the booking, having decided not to proceed with this vehicle, I contacted the Sales to request a refund of the reservation fee. To my shock, I was informed that the fee would not be refunded because I had not visited the vehicle and because the reservation period was deemed “too long.” This justification is completely unacceptable.
I made a compliant to their CS a few times, every time they only said we will contact you, please wait for our sales team call back. But they are no people contact me, ignore my refund request, ignore my complain, ignore my email, ignore my call. It is ridiculous and unfair to the customer.

We want to confirm that your £99 reservation fee has now been refunded in full. We acknowledge and accept that the delay in scheduling the test drive was on our side due to the unavailability of the sales representative, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this caused.
That said, we do feel it was disappointing that the reservation was cancelled the day before your scheduled visit, especially as the vehicle had been held for an extended period. Our team did aim to accommodate your availability as best as possible, and while the delay was not ideal, we had continued to reserve the vehicle in good faith.
We appreciate your patience and have taken your concerns on board to improve how we handle similar situations in the future.

Would be 0 stars if possible.
Was really looking forward to getting a new car from here. But then it broke the day it was driven away. The fault code was cleared by the dealership but no actual repairs were done.
Then the car was found to have more active faults with it 2 days later. Even after an independent VAT registered garage supplied a full diagnostic report on the vehicle they refused to acknowledge any faults with the car. This was all in the space of 5 days since collection.
They are now claiming the finance representatives haven't maintained contact, yet we have a full list of time and date stamped email exchanges between us all.
This has now been escalated to a legal representative to continue with a withdrawal as stated under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Please avoid this organisation. They seem to be blind to the fact they are responsible for their own shortcomings and oblivious to the law that supports Consumers.
I look forward to the next step in the legal case currently being prepared against this company.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction on the way this dealership handled the whole process of trying to sell a vehicle. I paid £99 reservation fee to veiw the car. Upon my arrival 1 day later I found the car was not cleaned or vacuumed. A passing comment from the Sales personnel named Allen put it down to a lack of staff. Following me highlighting some scratches he offered to take it around to the garage and polish these out. He returned with them polished out and. pushed for me to place a deposit on the car which I was not in a position to do considering my son had not seen the car we were planning to buy for him. With some reluctance the sales person accepted I schedule a veiwing 2 days later so then I can be accompanied by my son to make a decision. Following the whole experience to date we chose to cancel our rescheduled veiwing and requested a refund of our £99 reservation fee. After 2 weeks of not receiving a refund we were advised the fee will not be credited considering the sales personnel took the reservation fee as a desposit on the car after my first visit. At no point did I agree this payment was to be taken as a deposit. This appears to be their defence of not returning the reservation fee. Please me mindful when offering to put down a reservation fee with this organisation!! To not receive the refund is not going to break the bank but it is the principle. I have raised the query with my Credit Card bank and they have reassured me they will recovery the money on the basis it is not an approved transaction.

Hello,
You scheduled an appointment with your son to view on the Saturday, which you never turned up to and only emailed to say you wouldn’t be there on the day of said appointment. If you were reluctant to schedule in the first place then you had time to notify us prior to the day of the appointment, common courtesy. The £99 wasn’t refunded due to the time the vehicle was kept of sale, re-advertising costs and valeting costs (valeting prior to your scheduled appointment to only have to re-valet when the next customer buys). The £99 reservation fee is only supposed to be held until a customer views the vehicle, once this is happened the deal is either cancelled or a deposit is made, in this case you agreed to Allan you would come down Saturday to show your son the vehicle you wanted to purchase.
I do not understand why you say you chose to cancel off the basis of the whole experience to date. Allan greeted you, took the car around to the body shop to get the marks polished out. If it was due to the car not being valeted prior, like Allan said we were short staffed that day and you had only place the £99 deposit the day prior so unfortunately we were unable to fit it in.

I phoned the sales office and one of the sales manager didn’t have the time for me to answer my questions about a particular car, but I phoned again and straight away Wonderful Allan picked up my phone call and her did took time to answer all my questions and even want beyond and I told Allan I wanted to come and look at the car. After looking at car I promised to buy it and Allan arranged my finances for me and all other stuffs I needed. Allan is a starr and has all the sales qualities and patience to handle issues. I went to the Kettering Branch to buy my first car and reserved the car with Josh and arranged a viewing for only a few days later. I went to view the car, Josh was amazing not pushy at all just stood back while we had a good look around the car. He was full of info for any questions we had and after arranging finance I went back the following week to collect my new car. It was a very quick turn around and the car was ready for me to take home. Would 100% recommend and the price was so much cheaper than main dealers for a fraction of the price!
