Normally I don’t wish to do reviews as I find it a pain, on this occasion one is required for any potential buyers to avoid Prestige Cars Kent who sold me a car that don’t work. Firstly see below the list of faults from an email exchange with the garage, the snap shot is from Thomas in after sales, I listed the faults and his reply is after the hypon “-“ before you read the shocking faults below which you don’t expect from a prestige retailer, some background info, the car was a Audi S3 with 59k. I had two inspections done, had pictures and video evidence from day 1 I wished to reject the car but they wouldn’t allow me and didn’t understand my rights, this was a battle over 6 weeks, they wanted to repair the car, but why I trust them to repair when they sold a car in such bad condition. After 6 weeks plus and prestige sitting on the car for 3 weeks to carry out investigation there offer was to repair and provide relief from finance payments for x2 months, I don’t give up and took action against the finance company also, I didn’t end up in court lucky for them. I was released from my liability for the vehicle In response to your email please see below regarding the findings we have established so far: 1) Parking Sensors do not work- Updated control unit now working 2) Rear wiper blade does not work – Requires a new Rear wiper motor, part on order. 3) Lacquer is peeling from the rear bumper right side (pointed out to James) – Not yet been assessed by smart repairer 4) Steering wheel is making a clicking/knocking sound below towards the foot well – Conducted multiple road tests and unable to hear the noise – will investigate further 5) Faulty rear right tail light, 3 bulbs have been changed in a week – Requires a new lamp unit, part on order 6) The idle speed on the car when at a standstill is jerky on occasions – Not yet fully diagnosed - will investigate further 7) Stereo randomly shows blank screen, but audio can be heard – Recalibrated and retested working correctly 8) Cup holder is stuck – Fixed, it is a card holder 9) Faulty Gearbox, the car has on several occasions been stuck in gear, while also not displaying the correct gear ratio selected. The car makes a clunking noise going from drive to reverse and vice versa. Also, the car suffers from delay in shifting from drive to reverse. The car suffers jerky gear changes; the car is vibrating when going into reverse. – Not yet fully diagnosed - will investigate further 10) Engine Management light is on. – Not yet fully diagnosed - will investigate further I will be contact again next week once our diagnosis and inspection is completed. The most unethical, dishonest car dealer I have ever dealt with. They currently owe me £1,000 deposit, which under the Consumer Contacts Legislation, is owed to me. I pulled out of the deal because of their unethical decision with regards paying my outstanding finance (£43K). Essentially, they wanted to take the £55K vehicle into stock, and pay the finance within 28 days. So they have my car, I retain the debt until they decide to repay it. What would happen if they went into liquidation during this period ? Answer, I am in all sorts of problems. Buyers please ask that your existing finance is repaid prior to releasing your car. Now, I plan to post this message every day on facebook and other review sites, until I receive the refund I am due. If I can't get a refund, I will certainly take please in lowering their review score.

For someone with a low budget don't touch Prestige Cars Kent..cars they have are trade in's. You will not be looked after as well as a customer unless your paying 20k+. They agreed to give me my full deposit back and just make the payments because my circumstances changed.they agreed to replace the clutch and flywheel which I reported during test drive..after collecting vehicle and a SECOND signing of finance agreement which I actually did this time!! (first 1 they signed on my behalf and never bothered to tell me what first payment was/rate etc even tho they knew my situation.) ..this is failure to follow FCA law..(same as being missold ppi). I was told I would still get the deposit back..I collect car..a few hrs later...noise from gearbox...rang and ..yes they confirmed flywheel wasn't replaced because they said it didn't have to be..NOTE: I bought the driver plus warranty with a free service...by the way..that means an oil and filter only!! You want a full free service buy the 5k warranty lol. More or less they wanted flywheel to go after (warranty???). I complained..and they now said they would replace it..great..now..it's been a few days..where's my deposit back? 2 weeks later and after several calls with a manager called Kelly Davenport I got half back..when I called he said that's all your getting..it's in writing..even tho it's not and all my calls are recorded. Around same time I saw my vehicle in a different light...nearside front and rear doors are a different colour to rest of car..on closer inspection..I found overspray from previous repair work that wasn't reported to me in buying vehicle. Car was only 5k and did take 4 weeks for me to collect but they screwed me and sales men lies on instruction for manager..(again on recorded calls lol) if your a JLR assist guy that used to work with me for a certain company spread the word plz. These guys are cow boys and only the people with no money worries can deal with these guys. P.s 2nd finance agreement was totally different..I actually had to digitally sign the e-agreement lol beware people. And have an independent vehicle check carried out..my vehicle is worth a lot less due to pre repaired damage not declared to me. Avoid if your not minted!! YOU SHOULD DO AN INDEPENDENT CHECK ON THERE CARS..WILL COST A BIT BUT COULD SAVE YOU A FORTUNE. There attitude is. Its second hand and it's in a satisfactory condition..(in there eyes). They sell alot of nearly new cars hence the great reviews..they also sell cars like the 1 I got,an 09 vw passat. They claim to treat every1 the same regardless.... You have been warned.
First I was happy with Prestige Cars Kent but i got the problem with the booth and also with my soft top roof which would not come down so I called the Prestige and they said bring it over which i couldn't as it was slightly raining so they promised that someone will be there to sort the problem but nothing happened that evening so I contacted in the morning,again whole day passed by and again nothing happened so i called a known mechanic who managed to sort the problem and charged me £150 which i told to prestige cars and asked them to resolve the problem when i bring in for service but they did the service and asked me to take it again as it had to be dealt with the Bentley dealer which I have on monday and today is good friday and I was told that it will be ready by this Saturday 15/4/2017. I did get the courtesy car from them with hardly any petrol in it which i complained to Gayor Powell who assured me that any of my problems will be sorted out so I will put my review once i get me bentley back. Having spent a huge amount of money the service is nowhere as per the name.
