We have recently had a very poor experience buying a second hand car for my daughter from another garage, resulting in us being very hesitant about starting this process again. We explained this to Nigel at Prestige Motors, and he pretty much left us to look at the car and but was available to answer any questions (this was all pre-lockdown). We had arrived unannounced, and it was the morning after a night which was below freezing but the car started first time. It was in excellent condition both inside and out, but as we had some concerns as the car originally came from the North of England and by the coast, (the car we had issues with previously from another garage had a lot of corrosion underneath (as well many other issues)), we asked Nigel if he had any problem with us getting a friend who is a mechanic to look at it. Nigel had no issues with this and also confirmed he had full service history and that the customer who had brought it in as a part-exchange was local. We arranged a time for our mechanic to view, the only issue found was the front and rear windscreen heaters were not working. Nigel promised to sort this out and also gave us the supporting documentation to g through which confirmed the servicing and the location of the car throughout it's life and that it had 1 owner. Nigel called, after the windscreens were fixed, the car was valeted superbly and we paid / drove it away. I have left it a while before adding this review as it has not been driven as much as expected due to lockdown. However, so far, so good. Nigel was great throughout the experience and it has restored a little faith in garages. Nigel even called just to advise that it had been noticed that the car we arrived in had damage to the tyre, which could have blown at any time!

Be very careful when buying a car from this dealership : My wife bought a Suzuki Grand Vitara and after 2700 miles the engine block appeared to be cracked > Phoned the dealership and they were neither interested or sympathetic : The Owner went on the defensive and accused me of not checking the oil or water : Had the engine repaired at a great cost and currently seeking legal advice and searching the vehicle history : The Owner of the dealership is hiding behind his solicitor and the fact that the vehicle only had a three month warranty or 3000 miles whichever came first : Warning : In my opinion DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALERSHIP o#

Really good dealership. The staff are very knowledgeable and happy to help and they have some really nice car. I bought an Alfa Romeo a few months back and I have had no issues with it at all. It was in excellent condition and looked new when I received it and the value for money is brilliant. I can't fault them at all.
