Believe what you will.Previous reviews just about sum up Huntingdon Autos.Stay away.After sales service leaves much to be desired.When I was looking at the cars someone driving passed shouted don't buy it.I wish I had heeded his advice.

Having travelled 4 and a half hours to Huntongdon Autos with my 2 year old. Paid a large amount of cash for a car, travelled home took the car to a Vauxhall dealer ship for a health check only to be told the car should never have left the forecourt, the car had the wrong coil pack in wrong spark plugs a split exhaust very badly lipped discs a broken calliper the list goes on. Having contacted the dealer on many occasions nothing has been done to rectify this problem. The car has been sat on my drive for 10 months now. The car does not run. I'm left thousands of pounds out of pocket and a car that's not useable. As i don't live near the dealership I can't just pop round to see them I would have to travel over 4 hours. When we said we would drive back down to get it all sorted out all we got was 'we'll it would depend if the owner/manager was there that day. Absolutely terrible service. Would never ever recommend buying a car from these at all.

Wouldn't waste my time visiting Huntingdon Autos ever again. There must be 40 to 50 cars on display, maybe more, but not a tidy example amongst the lot. Most look fair from a distance but on close inspection there are kerbed wheels, scratches, dents, chips, poorly repaired paintwork, mismatched paintwork. We didn't bother to look inside any cars because they just aren't good enough. The prices they are advertising at is in excess of top main dealer prices so one expects pristine examples. This is not the case, do not be fooled by the photographs.

Bought a landrover from Proxym Cars. It spent more time off the road then on it. They are without doubt the most useless company I have every dealt with. The warranty might as well be used as toilet roll. The only reason it gets one star is I have no choice to give them a minus rating.

I brought a Vauxhaul Corsa from Proxym cars back in April 2017, I came to pick the car up and no one at Proxym cars knew I was coming, even though this was pre arranged. I was told the car would have a free service, this was not the case. The car was not serviced, they couldn't even top up fluids in the car. They did not clean the car and sold me it in a filthy condition. As part of the sales agreement, Proxym cars said they would replace a damaged rear light cluster. After days of being lied too and ignored when trying to phone through, they finally ordered the part. Only problem was that the part was cheap rubbish and did not fit correctly. They offer 3 months warranty for engin and gear box, 6 months extended warranty. This is not the case, I have not received anyproof that the warranty is in place or even exists. Proxym cars is a dishonest business, do not buy a car from there.

Bought a Vauxhall Corsa for my daughter earlier this year (2017) from Proxym Cars. Nice car and good price so that experience was positive. However, beware of any warranty that you believe you have as you won't. I received a letter from the warranty company to say Proxym hadn't paid the premium and I wasn't covered. Turns out that there are over a hundred customers in the same boat. Trading Standards call?

Do yourself a favour and stay away from Proxym Cars, I recently bought an 08 Astra from them. The Vauxhall car spanner light came on within 2 days, which cost me £300. Then I had to replace a wing mirror which they had held together with screws. And I'm still waiting for a second key or £100 which was agreed by John, that was 3 months ago.
