I reserved a car on the Thursday afternoon and was told my money would be refunded and taken off the purchase price. I did this so that my 110 mile journey wouldn't be wasted and having done the same with other car companies over the last 2 months, where my refund was returned if i ended up not buying the car, i assumed Riverside Car Sales Ltd would be the same when i called them 20 hours later to cancel the reservation and ask for a refund. Even on reading the Ts & Cs I found it unclear, and thought i would be refunded. When i wrote to them i got told to whistle essentially, and that i should've read the Ts & Cs better. In fact they told me it was ridiculous to not have read them properly, which of course they are absolutely right about. When i asked this question about them not stating they won't refund it if i don't buy the car, Riverside simply said "you didn't ask, so i didn't say." Anyway, of course one should thoroughly read the Ts & Cs and one should also read the reviews for this car dealership, i just should've read them earlier. Oh well two mistakes in one!

i have bought 2 cars from here in the past happy with both. now looking for anotger for my partner. Already test drove the car with no presure to buy and always so helpfull. This is the owner that is always helpfull.. will go back Thursday to buy if still there..

Turned to up to look at a car that was for sale at Riverside Car Sales over in Burton on Trent but wasn't allowed to test drive it until I'd decided I wanted to buy it....very strange way of doing things. I was ready to buy with cash but how are you supposed to know if you want to buy a car without test driving?? Obviously I didn't and wouldn't ever go back.

MIS sold me my car. Just wanting money rather than giving a good service, car crammed in so tight you can't move anything or look, took a deposit over the phone but since going and inspecting the vehicle it wasn't for me and then told me me deposit is non refundable. Waste of time and robbed me also. Do not recommend Riverside Car Sales in Burton, please stay away if you dont want to lose money.

Called up to book a test drive. When I got to Riverside Car Sales the car was buried at the back of lot. Had to agree a part ex deal on my car before they let me drive. Came back the following day, test drove the car and when I said I had to go away and think about it the dealer had a right go at me for not buying the car on the spot and accused me of wasting his time! Don't know how as I was the only customer there both days I visited them? Never going there again.

I bought my vehicle for cash in Sept 2013 but was not offered any discount for no part-exchange. The car had a 'wet-dog' smell which they promised would be rectified before I collected it also they were going to correct a few dents in the bodywork but it was apparent on collection that the smell and the dents were still there. They had the vehicle back to valet it but one year on and the car still smells the same. I've been told from somewhere else the carpets are mouldy underneath. I emailed them with the problem but had no further response from them. I feel like they had my money now they don't want to know!
