I purchased an Audi A4 from Roadstar Automobiles and was initially very pleased with the price/condition of the car. After taking it away I had a few minor issues that needed sorting and Paul was extremely helpful in resolving them for me. They say you can't really judge after sales service until something goes wrong and I'm pleased to say on this occasion Roadstar didn't let me down.

Don't buy from Roadstar Automobiles. They have misleading car listings. They have a BMW 525 listed currently (Aug 20th 2019) with a description stating full dealer history, excellent interior, excellent tyres and excellent bodywork. I have NEVER seen a car in such bad condition for a 66K miles, 3 year old car. Pretty much every panel has damage, there are some dodgy resprays with overspray in places, more than a cursory inspection shows off these issues, unfortunately the repairs are good enough to be not seen in the photos. The rear tyres have about 3mm of tread. I'd be thinking of replacing them, Roadstar state that they are excellent! The interior of the car is the worst I have ever seen. The aluminium trim all round the front of the car is badly damaged. The centre seat in the rear has a puncture in the leather, again all of this is set against a Roadstar description of excellent. This isn't just one person's opinion of excellent against another's, it is seriously damaged. Paul the salesman stated that maybe the advert description was a bit incorrect, but the car is still listed with the exact same description. I travelled 150miles with a one way ticket to pick up the car based on the advert and phone discussions. To top all of that, the mileage in the advert is innacurate, and it DOES NOT have a full dealership history. I was utterly shocked to see what was being offered. There is no way I would have travelled that far if the advert was accurate. I dread to think what is actually wrong with this car under the hood. I really feel for the poor soul who does end up buying it. Please think twice before buying from this garage. They don't seem to have a good moral standing.

I bought a BMW 330d from Roadstar Automobiles. It appeared to have BMW alloys, same style, BMW badges on them etc. They looked new. I was told they were the original ones, but recently refurbished. They then corroded very quickly. Took them to BMW who told me they were fakes. I now suspect the "M Performance" bodykit is fake too. The company now refuses to do anything to help, saying using fake components is industry standard and 14,000 miles is a good life for a set of alloy wheels.

I have brought loads of cars from many dealerships and can say hand on heart that Roadstar Automobiles were by far the best. Right from the start they welcome you and then give you the keys to have a look on your own, no pressure . Very knowledgeable about the cars and great service. You only really find out what a car sales company is all about when you have a problem after sale. When finally getting home the next day I had a problem with the auto tailgate on my bmw435dm. I called them and said I can’t operate the boot. They told me to bring it in and they would see what they can do. In your head you think omg I hope they help, I explained I had work so was unable to get the car to them for a while. After taking it back they were great and apologetic and booked it in to be fixed no problem. I have had it fixed now and in no way was it there fault or mine but they did there very best to sort it and I am now very happy . I dealt with zsolt at first he was great then dealt with addy after regarding the fix and he was great . I was met by the boss and he was also great. Well done all and thank you, I will buy again from these guys. Mr P Barns, Banbury.
