Only just calm enough to write this review after the horrific experience. purchased a used Ford Kuga from Sandicliffe Loughborough at the end of may 2023, within a week I had a light saying "service engine now" on the dashboard, took it in to be waved away with a "nothings wrong", fine, i thought, they know what they're doing(!!!).. For the next 2 weeks the engine was constantly overheating, had to keep turning the car off in traffic, then after having the car 3 weeks it stopped completely, engine management light on, limp mode, the lot. Having opened the bonnet we discovered there was absolutely no oil or coolant in the tanks at all. Took it back to Sandicliffe to be advised "the engine light isn't on" - absolute lies! if it was on for 14 miles driving home, still on after leaving it overnight and then driving it to the garage, it wouldn't have turned off just from being sat on their forecourt for 15minutes!! Told them to go and look again because there was still no oil or coolant in, they came back an hour later...the head gasket had gone! Took them over an hour to find a suitable courtesy car and was told by servicing my vehicle would be ready in 3 days, rang mid-week for progress update as we were due to go on holiday in the vehicle the next week, to be told that work had not started and it wouldn't be starting for at least another 2 weeks as they're too busy with MOT's and they have no qualified technicians! We then rejected the purchase of the vehicle as I had absolutely no confidence in them, if they can't put coolant and oil in the car before selling it how am i meant to trust them to fix a head gasket! We asked to see the job card for the however many "hundred point check" they do before selling a car, oh shock they couldn't locate the paperwork! In my opinion they had completely botched this job and just wanted a quick sale because they knew it would go wrong! Was advised they would find a suitable replacement for me, took a week for the buyers to purchase about 6 nissan leaf's and other small cars and offer these as a replacement - this is not a direct replacement for a Ford Kuga! Eventually told them to give me full money back and we purchased a vehicle elsewhere that actually provides 2 years warranty, AA and up to £750 MOT cover as STANDARD.. When I was signing for the refund had to sign a document advising they are giving the full amount back to me "as a gesture of good will" --- this is consumer rights not good will!! 2 days later I got a call from the service department saying they are going to start work on my car next week that i dropped off today! I hadn't been near the garage that day nor did i own a car from them anymore! Communication, Customer Service, all of it absolutely shocking, would not recommend.

Sandicliffe Loughborough Service Department incompetent! Sandicliffe Loughborough Service Department, terrible customer care, they missed work that my vehicle was booked in for whilst under warranty, I collected it from the service department with the engine management light still illuminated, they advised me to rebook for the repair they confirmed they had missed as it was written on their job card , after returning the vehicle they advised me that the manufacturer’s warranty had now expired after charging me a £75.00 diagnostic fee and any additional work would be charged at £140 per hour costing me £580.49 plus the diagnostics check, I had no choice but to pay the diagnostic fee but refused to give them the repair job, to add insult to injury whilst driving home there was a buzzing noise from the engine, when I arrived home I took a look under the bonnet to find that they had left the air box disconnected! I called Sandicliffe of Loughborough and was advised to make a complaint in writing and provide any pictures to the customer service department and the service manager who was responsible for the negligence, I did this several times , I also telephoned several times no one was available to talk to me and they couldn’t be bothered to reply! If collecting your vehicle from a service or repair from Sandicliffe Loughborough it may be a good idea to have a quick look under the bonnet to make sure everything is connected. After my experience with Sandicliffe Loughborough I would never buy a vehicle from them or ever trust their service department! I contacted the Ford Loyalty Team who advised me to take my vehicle to a reputable ford garage; I took it to a garage in Hinckley who repaired my vehicle free of charge under the Ford Loyalty Scheme.

As others have experienced, they cannot do enough to sell cars but do not return calls if you need to anything after. There are much better garages out there that deserve custom instead of these clowns.

My wife and I bought a Zafira from this dealership for £13,000 plus May 2022. The sales person was merely interested in selling us a car without showing any concern if we are getting value for this amount of money paid for the car. We discovered when my wife had a flat tyre on a motorway recently that there were no spare tyre nor tyre repair kits in a £13,000 plus vehicle. Its a shame really!.

Have just purchased a Ford Focus from Loughborough Sandicliffe and cannot rate them highly enough! Mike Cotterill was attentive and listened (and fulfilled) all requests, even going as far to send me a short video showing my new car and all work completed. Such a great service, definitely my garage and sales person of choice!

We purchased a 2022 plate Nissan Juke yesterday. Myself and my husband would highly recommend part exchanging and purchasing a vehicle from Sandicliffe Loughborough. Our sales man Bruce Charles kept us updated regularly regarding the arrival of our new car.There was no hard sell and no hassle. The atmosphere in the show room was warm and welcoming from Bruce's other colleagues. We left in our new car feeling very satisfied with the customer service we received and would certainly recommend. Well done.

Just picked up my new/used Ford Ecosport from Sandicliffe Loughborough. Having worked in sales for 40 years I can say with reasonable authority that my experience with Mike Sirrell and Sean was first rate. I was treated with respect, great patience and a deal of humour. Sandicliffe, you need to clone Mike he was brilliant and I will certainly seek him out again when I an in the market again. All the staff I spoke to were extremely helpful and not pushy at all. Thanks for a great experience.

Very poor customer service after purchasing a new van for company services. Have very little to response from customer service when trying to contact to resolve issues. Van has over £2'700 worth of repairs at 16,000 mileage from new due to engine not getting "hot" enough. Five year warranty that was given was not worth the paper it was written on and will be avoiding for future van purchases.
