Bought a car from Sascron 3.5 months ago to now find out the clutch has gone.. we paid £900 for a warranty that doesn’t cover it as apparently in 3.5 months it’s ‘wear and tear’. Once you’ve purchased a vehicle the customer service is awful, they don’t wanna know but are amazing when you want to buy a car! and we actually left a positive review on auto trader as we were happy with the staff at first but after sales problems is horrendous. Avoid! It took 5 days to even try to speak to someone about it as every time I rang, there was always excuses about the managers being on the phones etc.

I previously wrote a bad review after the aftersales treatment with the clutch on my Nissan Qashqai. I just wanted to thank Steve for doing his best to help us solve our issue who is going out of his way to get it sorted. We are therefore very happy all round with Sascron.

I saw a car on auto trader and we drive up to Sasacron to see it, at first glance it looked wonderful but upon closer inspection I found minor faults. The back wiper needed replacing, a bulb was out/ blown and one of the indicators was stuck on constant. I asked the sales person could the issues be fixed on the car before I put down a deposit but was told no it would be done after I'd bought the car. After going inside to check the details and car history it transpired the car hadn't had a service since 2015, as you can imagine I was not best impressed. They knew I wanted to potentially take the car on the day, I had pre arranged the visit to ensure a smooth sale and so was bitterly disappointed. A family member encouraged me to view another car they had spotted on the way in as we had driven quite some way.. it looked great but was in the middle of the forecourt so I couldn't do a test drive, I indicated I was interested and asked to see the cars paperwork. It was unavailable as was told it was at the other site. I rung up a few days later at 11:30am and arranged a test drive and to see the docs at 5pm that evening. We turn up at the allotted time and the car isn't there but being prepped at another site! We have to drive over to the second site and wait... finally I get to do the test drive but disappointingly it had a knocking noise . The adviser ensures it will be looked at and fixed before I collect the car, I'm a bit sceptical but ask to see the docs (which I had mentioned in the call)  and low and behold they didn't have them. What a total waste of time I'm livid, I'd have walked away at this point but Iv got £500 deposit down and I can't afford to lose the money that they were unwilling to refund. I requested a curtesy call to inform me what the mechanics had found but none came, so I had to call back, the issues was found and the parts ordered and would be fixed and ready for collection on that Saturday. I wasn't going to transfer any more money until I had another test drive to check it had been fixed and get to see documents/ service history/ V5 you know all the normal stuff you would expect. The adviser sounded annoyed on the phone and said he was in for another 20 mins could I do the transfer to pay for the car. No I asked to come for another test drive on that Saturday and asked them to have the docs ready for me to inspect. The adviser was very off and said it might not be ready on Saturday for me to drive, odd considering I was meant to collect it on that day a few minutes earlier in the call.. so why is it suddenly not ready?! Trying to keep my cool I arrange to go on Sunday and asked that the docs be avalible and if it's all okay I'll pay in the week and collect on the following Saturday. Iv been very flexible visited several times to see this basic paperwork and wasted alot of time, the advisor then informs me that they could only hold it until Tuesday as they like to get cars out quickly. I ask for my refund on the deposit so I could go else where, I am refused. I did get another viewing and thankfully the paperwork finally materialised but looking at the paperwork it turns out it's an ex rental... I was never told this, again I breath it's not a problem but I do like to know. I bought the car because I couldn't afford to loose the £500 and thought my dealings with the company was done... Think again. I get the car home and that noise is back the one they said they fixed..  lucky for me it's under manufacturer warranty, I take it to the Seat who actually fixes the problem.. but I didn't have a car for a week. All in all it was a total joke the car wasnt cheap, they sold it knowing it had issues, their pre sales check is worthless, customer service is appalling, pushy finance sales and can honestly say I have never had such a horrible time buying a car, I was lucky that Seat stepped in to help me. Avoid this dealer like a plague.

Be aware of Sascron!!!!! Angelo the manager lied us in our face saing this the car issues were fixed when they weren’t. Huge Lack of communication between dealer and customer. We ve done a few waisted trips from Bournemouth trying to collect the car. Poor preparation of the car. Also our advisor Tony lied to us that he s going to send us the service history of the car which ‘accidentaly’ was not found on the paperwork when we picked up the car. Also a lot of hassle until we got the actually V5 on our name. After about 3 weeks and a lot of phone calls the problem was sorted. We ll not recommend to but from this dealer.

Purchase went ok after getting to RG19 8BJ by train about 1.5hrs. A week later I had an power/pulling issue with the car which was well documented in the service book but was not told about it. I also was not told about the broken inside mirror on passenger seat side, and loose repair kit in boot. The guy called "Londrin" who was kind one minute said to me then that I was on my own and quite rude, suggesting that maybe I even put diesel instead of petrol. I couldnt even get bare warranty to take my car to a garage near me, and never had a return phone call. Seems you are treated well when you agree to everything. He told me to pay hundreds of pounds to cover me so that I could have my vehicle checked. The finance company came to the rescue after a month of agony. The jury is out there!

The service wasn't bad as such, the issue we had was with the amount of faults we had that arose on the cars. This meant we had to keep returning and spending days without the car which was convenient.

Things were initially good. couldn't fault them. However things started turning sour after the car came up with some faults that would set me back a lot of money. In the end however they did help sort all issues out so everything seems good.

I have just purchased my new car from Sascron and can say it was one of the most pleasurable car buying purchases I've ever made. Everything was taken care of, including servicing of the car before purchase. Jon was very helpful, and kept a very good level of communication throughout the process. Even the whole of the paperwork when picking the car up was taken care of. Would highly recommend Sascron to anyone. They have a massive selection of cars, and their sales team are of the highest standard. Thank you again!
