Don't use this company ! Shocking and I would strongly advise people to shop elsewhere. I purchased a car and drove it home, by the time I got home the engine management light came on. I have now owned this vehicle for 2 weeks and have it has spent 5 days back and forth trying to resolve the problem. The customer service manager is a saint, which cannot be said for the sales team, who once the purchase has been made could not care less about the customer. Never have I heard one person (The sales manager) say "Its not my problem" and "We are out of the loop once a sale has been made" so many times. Even when he was the only manager on site he refused to take any responsibility for the issues or make any attempt to resolve them, just passing the buck to anyone but him or his department. The original salesman avoided me like the plague and refused to acknowledge me on any of the 5 visits back to the site. Avoid at all costs.

**Avoid avoid avoid** Terrible customer service. Impossible to get a test drive, (even if just driving around the corner) without you committing to a price 1st. Be aware! They have an aggressive tone when it comes to the negotiation.

Terrible, Simply the worst experience ever in my life. Completely lied to me, tried to see me a car without owning it or giving me the V5, This company should be under investigation by the trading standards. Leave well alone.

Terrible customer service and pushy staff. Very shady experience with the staff member trying to push a warranty on us the whole time rather than talking about car or letting us test drive the car. Suggest you don't waste your time andthat you head to a reputable dealership instead!

Do not buy cars from this company, they are totally shady, tried to sell cars without ownership documents, lots of faults with the vehicles, warranty not worth anything, sales people and customer service non existent, you will get ripped off here be warned shady business.

Sascron has literally left me heart broken. I put all my savings into buying a discovery sport for over 22k. 4 months after purchase it went into limp mode, I rang sascron who told me to contact a Welsh motors who I booked in with. They plugged the car in and cleared loads of faults sat in the car. Only later that day it went back into limp mode. I found out I could take the car to any VAT registered garage so took it to a 4X4 specialist nearer to me who diagnosed the problem as the DPF and turbo costing over 6K to fix. Autoprotect (warranty) are not worth the paper it’s written on and are offering to do a bodge job repair (just to clean the DPF which is something landrover won’t advise to do, their DPF filters once they fail are not repairable) specialists state I’d be lucky to get 6 months out of the car before it fails again. I have spoken to sascron and had the supposed senior manager be rude on the phone saying “do you think this is the first day in the job” “we are not a charity, you are not having a refund” and “you’re being rude so so am I” he had me in floods of tears on the phone. I then sent an email giving them other options to try resolve matters and draw a conclusion and they totally ignored it. I then went to sascron today with my children and sister. The car on the way there got considerably worse and made noises that sounded unsafe. When I got there Harry greeted me, listened to me and showed a great amount of respect and empathy. Sadly the same cannot be said for any of the other staff. Once there nothing could be done I was told they’d need to speak to Autoprotect to put pressure on them to carry out the full repair and refund is not going to be offered. They won’t offer a courtesy car. They didn’t care that I have 2 kids a job and would have to take taxis just to do school runs. My job could end up being on the line. They just didn’t care. I was stuck for a few hours as has to wait for a friend to finish work and pick me up. So with kids in a showroom we had to order food for them so they didn’t go hungry. The staff made us feel like tramps and looked down their noses at us. They didn’t ask us to leave but made it plainly obvious by coming over and making comments. At the end of the day once my friend arrived, I thought it may help if i left the key so they could move my car if needed. One particular rude man who was rude to me before all this too, came running up to the car saying I can’t leave the car there and when I said I can’t drive it so what am I supposed to do, he said he doesn’t know but sascron won’t take responsibility for it and said he’s leaving my keys on top of my car and it’s on my head be it if it’s damaged or stolen. Later today I receive a VERY threatening email saying I’ve abandoned the car and they will charge me £30 per day up to 5 days for it being on their land and will seek legal action if it’s not taken. Stating I’d caused disruption for hours when we just sat in the corner on their sofas (kids did run around a little but nothing that caused issues for customers!!) also stated I’d refused to leave when asked (they never asked us to leave just asked what our plans were) I’m still in the same position and I’m heart broken. I’be had sleepless nights, I’ve cried and cried and I literally feel at breaking point but they just don’t care about anything but their pockets. It’s sad because I wrote them a glowing review after I bought the car :( please stay clear I’d hate to think of anyone else in this position.

Went to look at a car , was told I was a day late , I was not , car was not ready , car had numerous faults , tried to sell me a warranty , quote we don t sell a car without a warranty , also wanted to charge 199 pound fee for admin . Car had no spare key , top tip never by a car without a spare key , replacements cost at least 200 pounds . I walked away , suggest you don t even visit

Having purchased a car from what appeared to be a genuine dealer has turned out to be the complete opposite, so my advice to ANYONE who is looking at this place near READING is to AVOID at all costs, they are absolutely 110% rogue traders that have ZERO ****s given after the sale.. They will leave you stranded with a FAULTY car, tell you that the FAULT wasn’t with the car at the point of sale and do absolutely NOTHING about it, even just after purchase. They will deny ALL knowledge of what was agreed at the point of sale and literally continuously BS you to your face. Well done SAS “CON” you truly pulled the wool over my eyes but if this review helps others and STOPS you from ripping good people OFF then I’m SATISFIED….. just saying!

In a short term they are throwing me off after selling a faulty vehicle I really needed a working car due to my kids school, hospital appointments and work, it has been only a week since I purchased still couldn’t drive it, no kindly approach, they are asking me why I took the vehicle when I saw engine light. It means they are blaming me as I trusted them. Now my advice to anyone who are planning to buy vehicle from them is never to trust them, at all. Buy your car from approved used garages or the main dealership as Sascron is totally a scam, PLEASE go to their reviews and select the recent / lowest fields and you will see how they actually treat their customer. DO NOT BUY !! You will regret it; they will FORCE you to take out a warranty until you buy one otherwise they will not sell you the car. We surely well know they don’t service these bangers at all, they only wash them to made them look new and instil fake confidence. Plenty of customer of been fooled by this horrible tactic. Most all cars will develop a fault within the first 30 days and its your right to reject it for a full refund, forgot all there lies and promises, the customer complaint process is truly flawed. I am finding a solicitor and lawyer to take them to court and to shame them for being the worst car dealership in the UK. Please read before you buy from Sascron… This was the worst experience I have faced with any purchase in my life and it is the only time I have had to write to a business and quote my consumer rights. I purchased a car for my wife from Sascron during Dec 2022, this was a low mileage fairly new vehicle..the best most expensive one they had at the time. The car broke down within an hour of leaving Sascron when I was on the way home, maybe I was just unlucky however…the way in which I was treated and Sacron dealt with this was shocking and disgusting. Advising Sascron of the breakdown immediately I was advised to contact auto protect who they use for their warranties and breakdown and left to it. Auto protect demanded I made payment for the recovery which I was not willing to do and Sacron were closed and unable to help. I was therefore forced to push the car to the side of the road in the rain and leave it in a vulnerable position until I could contact Sacron the next day to seek further assistance. After many many calls to Sascron asking for help they could not get the car recovered and I was faced to use other means myself to have the car recovered. As the car had broken down so quickly and sounded like a very serious problem from the engine. I advised Sascron I had lost trust in the car and would like a full refund. They advised that they would be fixing the car and would not be giving me a refund. I was outraged at this asking why they would not honour a full refund as per the consumer rights act. I was told that under the Sales of goods act they have the opportunity to fix they car! This was untrue and something I believe they must ‘try on’ with their customers to get out of these situations. So be warned the Sales of goods act was abolished in 2015 and replaced with the consumer rights act. They finally backed down on this but stated I must prove that the car was faulty when I brought it. A fairly unreasonable request given I did not even get home in it. Albeit that’s what I had to do, so I had to get the car recovered to a local garage where I had to prove the car was faulty at the time of purchase. Following a diagnostics I was provided with the required report to state that the engine has a catastrophic engine failure and may need replacing. I then had to arrange for the car to be sent back to Sascron along with the report. During this period the car had suffered a parking fine whilst they could not recovery it and I had paid the costs of the diagnostics check from the garage. All of which Sascron were made aware of and this is of course not to mention the time, stress and anxiety it had cause me and my family the week before Christmas. After the car was returned to Sascron it took them 3-4 days to refund the price I paid for the car. I was left to pay the parking fine and the diagnostics check and all the admin costs of changing over vehicles. Cars do break, which i accept yet Customer Service was fully in their control and I saw a very very different side to this business from what i did when they are in sales mode… I would urge others to avoid at all costs.
