Thought got good deal on car. Test drive no problems. First day of having car 40 miles on half tank of fuel. Tried to ring garage but been a saturday were closed. Went monday to be told not their problem we could not afford to run the car. That was not the case we said must have a fault. Told to run it for a week then go back but phil already said would not get another car.

I bought a Ford Focus from Seaham Auto Services and have been over the moon with it since purchasing. Phil the sales manager gave us excellent service from start to finish. I explained my price range and the type of car I liked and he delivered in all areas. Nothing was any bother to him I even asked if he could keep an eye out for a car for my daughter who fancied a fiesta. And true to his word I got a phone call 4 weeks later to say he had an ideal starter car for her. So we purchased our 2nd car today 1 very happy daughter and 2 very happy customers. I would highly recommend great service with a very friendly team.

Ouch, Seaham Auto Services, don't touch them. I had to withdraw from a car purchase, after giving this dealer a deposit, because the info I'd been given about Insurance was wrong. But Mr Phil Winlow (Sales Manager, Seaham Auto Services) told me he'd 'already sent off' the logbook (V5) and I was the new owner. Strange... I hadn't paid the balance, I hadn't been shown the MOT certificate, nor the Tax, nor the warranty, nor had I visited the garage for the purposes of the sale/transfer, nor checked the car... but he'd sent the logbook off, unsigned by me?....very, very strange. I asked for my deposit back. But Phil Winlow said he would not repay the deposit until I gave him the logbook. Please note: 1. I am not the new owner, this is false, a lie. And 2. You can't send off a logbook without BOTH parties signing it (seller and buyer). With a witness there I asked Phil Winlow to confirm that the logbook had been posted, but he refused to tell me where it now was. I then asked him to sign to say he would repay the deposit if I could give him the logbook, but he refused to sign. It looks like this dealer has STILL GOT the logbook, and he knows I can't ever get hold of it - therefore I can't give it to him, to claim my deposit back. Clever!! Dear Seaham Auto Services, lies are not acceptable, and I will not back off from this distressing matter until it has been satisfactorily resolved. Customers - BEWARE. Don't buy cars from this dealer, Rosie

This lady decided to pull out of a deal an hour before handover of the car which she phoned about, which she test drove and which she decided she would buy . She thought that it was acceptable to let us put the car through a full service, change tyres , get a spare key made and put a full Mot on . I also had the car taxed in readiness for her to just drive away but it was ok for her to just pull out of the deal at the drop of a hat . She had put a small deposit on the car which I said I would refund on her returning the log book to ourselves as the vehicle had been taxed at the post office in her name. A deposit is a promise to buy and I could have been quite within my rights to withhold but we don’t do that at our garage. In short this eccentric woman who purported to be a doctor (of what I’m not so sure). Succeeded in wasting not only my time and the technicians in the garage but she thought this was ok and she blamed me for her not being able to afford the insurance on her potential car . This is the car that she phoned about and which she test drove and which she was happy to buy . I’m really pleased we never done any business with woman who has now put a blemish on our almost flawless reputation. Please take her review at face value and look at all the positive reviews we have had. Thanks to our customers who appreciate what we do for you on a daily basis. Phil.
