Went to this garage today and traded in my car for a citroen c2, the car was very clean and immaculate, very tidy. I got a great deal on my old car, more than what I was expecting! I was served by a very helpful polite young man, who was not at all pushy like the usual car salesmen. He also helped me to sort my tax out online. I drove away with a 14 day cooling off period, a full year's MOT and a 6 months warranty. Very happy with my little car!!!

I bought a BMW 1 series on the 4th October. It came with a full MOT(that they did the night I bought it). The dpf filter warning symbol came on and it was downhill from there, airbag lights came on , petrol cap fell off, it went into limp mode, it was a nightmare, I called them on the 6th and they asked me to take it in on the 8th. I took it in with a list of problems that I could find wrong with it (I am a 33 old woman, not a mechanic and have little knowledge of cars). Picked it up after wok on the 8th, literally 2 mins down the road it went into limp mode AGAIN. Not had the car a week so decided to take it back and get a refund only for them to say its £150 admin fee, god knows when that came into effect but I didn't sign that form. They said pay the fee or we can do the repairs, I didn't trust them doing the repairs as they sold the car in that state after giving it an MOT. I spoke to citizens advice and they said i shouldn't have to pay the fee. The owner Paul Simms was extremely shifty and aggressive towards me, so I had a choice, pay £150 of be lumbered with the car that was just causing me problems. So I paid the fee, got a cheque which they forgot to sign, I spent the next week wondering if the cheque was going to clear as I had lost all trust and confidence in this car dealer. I will speaking to citizens advice again today to see if there is a way of getting the £150 back. I wouldn't recommend Simms & Taylor car dealership to anyone!!

I feel like they saw a single female on her own and took advantage, please stay away. I am a local woman who likes to keep business local but I wouldn't recommend this car dealer to my worst enemy!
