I have just purchased a Mercedes from Sterling Performance. From the first phone call with their Sales Manager to the collection of the car, the whole process was seamless. The car was presented to a high standard and I am very happy with everything. Well done Sterling Performance.

I brought a car from Sterling Performance and have received excellent service at the start all the way to and buying it and even the after sales any problems or questions I had they answer them I have a special mention to Jason who was excellent and answered everything honestly about the car as I was buying it blind highly recommend

Purchased a car from Sterling Performance unseen as i was too far away to come and view it, So i thought wow look at the photographs and with selling this type of cars this must be a proper set up. The nice photos made my car certainly look fantastic. I was told he could see only 3 stone chips on the bonnet, Well when i got it home it was peppered with dozens of them. I told Jason that the cd auto changer did not work and the response was oh well who uses cds now anyway. Also asked 4 times for a simple set of number plates to be included, Well im still waiting. There was a badge plate missing of a brake caliper and was told there was no way they would miss such a promanant feature as that. Well the stud holes that held the plate in place had been snapped off so had been missing for a while. Didnt even get £50,00 of the price and the MOT was due in 7 weeks. There very keen to get your deposit and when you ask what price can you do it for they say- Theres been loads of calls regarding this car so i can sell it if you dont want it. Another thing that worries me is that the owner of the business does not want to deal with you direct so thats where Jason comes in to it. Its like someone mentioned in a facebook review and there spot on when they said- Theres always just something wrong with there cars. Would i go back? NO the trust is gone but perhaps i should of viewed the car myself but thats why i went to a dealer in the first place. Jason was great to deal with and always answered my calls and emails , He even called me on a Sunday. Its such a shame that he didnt follow his customer service through. He got the money and probably said to himself why should i bother hes miles away. You could get away with that before the internet and facebook but im afraid bad word travels faster than good. I did say that i would leave a review in light of not getting my number plates so here it is.

Having agreed a deal, put finance in place and cancelled my existing vehicle registration to add plate onto the new car, Sterling Performance saw fit to sell to another customer. Even though we had agreed the sale. Dreadful customer focus. I would NEVER recommend or use this dealer again. EVER!! If you want an honest and trustful dealership DONT USE STERLING PERFORMANCE!!

They totally mis-described the car and it was found to be DANGEROUS to drive . Evidence presented from physical inspection, the vehicle was not considered to have been in a satisfactory condition at the point of sale and not fit for purpose as it requires considerable expenditure to correct a significant number of major and costly defects . Do not buy from them under any circumstance.

My car was not safe for road use, but Stirling Performance were happy to send me my wife and 1 year old on are 270 mile journey home in it. Had lots of problems with the car costing hundreds to fix. Don't be fooled by their very shiny cars on there web site! The guy who owns the place can not be trusted. Stay clear!!
