Take your business to Halliwal Jones or Sytner. Shocking levels of Customer Service Horrendous experience in purchasing a vehicle for my father. Having put a £500 deposit last Wednesday, Jack said we come on Monday to collect the vehicle, he made it clear the price was the price & no negotiation was possible. As the spec was quite specific we drove 3 hours to get to Hull. Met by a no real enthusiasm we made way to the vehicle, upon first impression the vehicle seemed prepped to standards. I was only disappointed with the amount of fuel in the tank, Jack claimed he could only fill in £10, considering the value of the vehicle & knowing the distance which we had travelled from set the wheels in motion of the whole experience. As the paperwork was being processed I decided to take a closer inspection of the vehicle. Upon this a scratch on the front bumper, a dent on the back panel & cob webs under the deployable spoiler was found. Immediately I pointed out the defects to Jack who acknowledged that these bits had been missed in the prep. He assured me he will sort the issues out. In the meantime the payment process was underway & soon enough paperwork had been completed. The cobwebs had been cleaned & someone was working on the scratch, despite this the scratch was still visible & the dent hadn’t been touched. Jack called out his manager, I went through the two remaining issues with him & explained Jack had acknowledged that these had been missed in the prep, at first the manager commanded my checking of the vehicle, thereafter He went on to say ‘as the vehicle Is 2 1/2 years old you have to expect certain defects’ He proceeded by offering me a mere £100 off a alloy wheel cover package priced at a additional £499.00, leaving me questioning are they being difficult & awkward only with me? By this time my father was tired & the only other alternative was to travel to Brighton for a similar spec vehicle. As the deal was done we decided to take the vehicle with the dent & the scratch. Upon leaving Jack said he will refund £50 to cover the cost of repair. I doubt this will cover a inspection never mind a repair. I cannot come to terms with the service received upon spending a very large sum at this dealership. What did we do to receive such unbothered attitude & no care? I can only think of two things... 1. Finance is king 2. Skin Colour
If you have had your car worked on by Stratsone Hull chances are that you paid £100 ph for a semi-skilled agency worker with little to no formal BMW training. Just drive past and the large lettering in the Mini window begging for M.O.T tester and technicians is a clue to how desperate they are to get suckers to work for them. They are owned by Pendragon who ride rough-shod over civil, employment and safety laws with impunity. The bullying culture and insane targets (productivity and efficiency) they set makes it impossible for you to get a job done on your vehicle without serious compromises to quality. They subject all vehicles to a highly dubious vehicle health check which is just falling short of fraudulent mis-representation and contrary to govt M.O.T standards. A common staff room game when I worked there was name the resignations, 74 was the score in one year, not including the 7 nervous breakdowns by staff. Pendragon/Stratstone should not be allowed to trade. Pendragon Stratstone anyone want to challange this? Video evidence of Mini M.O.T being passed (off site ) and time stamped as passed at 3:15 pm with car stripped on ramp time stamped at 3:02pm. It gets worse but I think you get the idea. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS.

Purchased a second hand BMW3 Series last week dealt with Tom who was helpful knowledgeable and most of all a great sales man not pushy just forthcoming and could answer any question relating to the cars we enquired about. The team from first point of contact at reception made you feel special. The, car was collected on Saturday handover was great and we’re more than happy with the service and the car. Contacted Matthew Symons (sales team leader) and checked availability of a BMW M2 and was confirmed it was still for sale. Proceeded to take a £500 deposit over the phone and confirmed my intention to travel by train the following weekend. 3 days later I received a call from Matthew explaining the M2 had now been sold to another person and to add insult I would have to wait several days for a refund and no compensation for my £125.50 train tickets. Very poor service from a main dealer who I had intended to spend my hard earned money. Would not recommend this sales man or Stratstone BMW in Hull.
Since 2012 I have been their customer , my X6 40d was serviced by stratstone BMW Hull for 2 years . Then I went on to buy two cars , one factory order X6 M50d, and the next one pre-reg 430 xdrive The sales team were fantastic . I got an excellent deal on a 520d for a friend of mine who came all the way from London to sign the deal and pick up the car . On my recommendation, Another friend of mine ended up buying a 218d right away after the first visit to the dealership . The sales and the service team did their very best . I've had test drives on several cars and I had no problems in arranging them . I have got nothing but good things to say about this dealership.
Recently bought a second hand BMW and noticed a fault, so booked my car into Stratstone Hull BMW to diagnose the fault. Whilst on the telephone, I was informed that there were also 2 manufacturer recalls for my vehicle however the parts would not be available for a further two weeks. I informed the young man that I would have the diagnostics done on this a booking and pending how things went, I would then look at rebook in my BMW for the recall repairs. So having taken my car in yesterday at 9:15, I was disappointed to learn from a phone call at 3pm that all the BMW recall had been done, however they had only just started on my diagnostics, which was the ONLY reason that I had booked my car in. Their team couldn't understand the reason why I was angry that after my car had been with them for over 6 hours, the work that I had taken MY car in for had not been done. They informed me that they were doing me a favour, so when I said, so are you doing the diagnostics for free, their answer was 'No' so I said if your getting paid by the garage that I bought my car from, how can you be doing me a favour. I told them that I was not happy as I had experienced something similar a decade ago when I use to take my BMW to Stratstone Hull, which is why I had not used them for 10 years. On eventually been informed of the fault, I told them that I DID NOT WANT THEM TO CARRY OUT THE WORK ON MY VEHICLE, which they agreed to. So image my suprise when I received an email from the garage where I bought my car, they forwarded on Stratton Hulls email to me, and Stratstone Hull had basically tried to go over my head and asked the garage if they could go ahead and carry out the work on my car, yes my car, despite me telling them that I did not want them to carry out the repair work...who do they think they are
When you pre order a car in time for the new registration you would expect to collect it ? Right ! Wrong. Having dealt with Mathew at Stratstone BMW Hull from the beginning to chose an appropriate vehicle I have to say the experience was excellent & felt reassured & confident in their ability to full fill the brief I was advised I would receive regular progress reports up until delivery on 2nd March which was acceptable . I received a personal video of my choice of vehicle & was impressed by the customer care However how wrong you can be I had no contact from then on so I rang yesterday to ask when my appointment was to collect the car to be told conflicting information by very rude staff who were not willing to listen to me or reassure me other than who told me I would get the car on 2nd & no it would not be in until the 8th sent several emails with no response until end of business asking what my problem was & so you want to cancel the agreement which I think he wanted me to so I would go away ! Well sorry I'm not just going to go away ! So WHAT are you going to do about it Stratstone???????????????????had someone contacted me to explain the above I may have understood but omg the attitude of the handover staff was unbelievable no I would not recommend BMW stratstone Hull upset & stressed out !
Stratstone BMW Hull are really pathetic! No communication at all within the team. Don’t seem to be interested in doing business. I didn’t ahead with purchase purely because of poor customer service. Don’t do business with them.

As I’m not getting good vibes decided to look at reviews . I’m trying to buy a car and not getting called back not good service for BMW . Normally get hassle after you’ve purchased not before. Not good enough.
