***AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE*** If you are thinking of purchasing a car from this company and are just checking through reviews for some piece of mind then STOP HERE AND PURCHASE A CAR ELSEWHERE!! They are the most dishonest, unprofessional and untrustworthy individuals you could ever consider buying a car from. I would hate anybody to go through the absolute headache I am currently going through, the attitude of their after sale staff is appalling. I recently purchased a car from this establishment and on my journey home the engine management light appeared. After talking to a member of staff about this issue I was requested to take the car for a diagnostic report and they promised I would be reimbursed for this cost and also that they would pay for any work needed to be carried out.....guess what? First of a long list of lies and false promises. The diagnostic report revealed that the turbocharger was faulty and needed replacement at a cost of over £1,400 and that any extensive use of the car could possibly lead to an engine failure. On recontacting them they advised myself that they would only reimburse 60% of the cost of rectifying the faulty car that they sold me. They lied in their advert with regards to number of former keepers, the service record does not tally with MOT history with regards to date/mileage and also they advertised the vehicle with 2 keys when there was only 1 key, they claim to put all their cars through a 114 point pre sale inspection but evidently this is just a sales scam as a quick check by myself has revealed an outstanding safety recall, money obviously means more to them than their customers safety. Unfortunately due to their incompetence I have now had to contact my solicitors to authorise legal proceedings.
Very very very very very very bad service!!!! I even never come to this type of websites for reviews, but at the moment my goal is just make this very huge to make sure I can't make everyone aware of the bad quality service it was. I even should seat at the stand just waiting for customers to approach and let them know what happened to go away and not to buy anything there! I basically bought a car gave all the money up front and the day the stand called me to be ready to collect the car, when I arrive they even didn't know I was coming. I drove 2h on that Sunday and I had 2h more to drive home. Ok, it happens, was bad but ok let's see what is coming next. Then they told me the car was not ready, not cleaned and not ready to go. So I said I could go for lunch and come back. I have done that. When I was about to return they called me (I was around 15 min from the stand) and they said "we are about to close in 5 or 10 min". So basically they called me just when they were about to close saying we close in 5 or 10 min, I drove really fast to arrive. When I arrive and when I was about to sign the contract we realised the car (after being washed very quick and not correctly) had a huge chip on the front mirror and a massive dent fading the colour as well. The chip was very big and because the car was very dirty it was not possible to see it. They never realised the chip was there or even the dent. I said that was not the car I agreed to take as it is a matter of time the glass will break and it is a very expensive glass - I am talking about a volvo d4 cross country. They said they could replace the front mirror and the dent. So a few days later of taking the car home, 10 days, there was a light coming up as well, so the car had other problem, I took it to my garage and more problems in the car needing to be fixed! I reported all this in the 14 days! After lots of calls lots of emails nothing was done, I keep trying to get someone to call me someone to do something about and nothing. The lights coming up it's related to really important repairs that need to be done. I want to return the car!!! Basically they asked us for some money up front to check the car but they didn't do any checking! The garage where I take my cars since ever gave me a quota for the car to be fixed and when I sent to the SW company they said it was extortion and they wouldn't pay for it!!! So very bad service as I am to go on holidays in 2 days and I need "a car" and the car I bought has lots of problems never detected and they don't seem to bother about it! I would give zero stars. I am very upset. I need to keep chancing them, they don't call me or do anything!!! I will keep posting everywhere I can the huge bad customer service they are having! I am not a very demanding person, bad understandings happen, but this is just very bad service!!!!!
Great people at SW Car Sales, decent prices and very nice cars. There was no pressure and I was able to test drive 2 cars before I purchased 1 of them. Drove back to Birmingham the same day and it drives perfectly.
Had a minor issue with my car which I purchased last month. The Aftersales at SW Car Sales was brilliant and they kept me informed all throughout.
SW Car Sales are top class and give you the best service from start to finish. Buying a car isn’t as pleasurable as it is here so thumbs up team SW Cars and well done for winning a lifetime customer.
Absolute nightmare, did you know the warranty company they use is owned and run by the same owner as owns SW cars? #good luck getting your car fixed #conflict of interest #joke
Disgusting attitude from the manager speaking to me like a 5 year old. All because I questioned why my car had not had a valet or any scratches polished as written down and promised. I had to take three 3 hour round trips as each time my car was not ready for collection.
brought volvo s40 10plate. with an dodgy mot on it and 2500 worth of repairs needed as well as the salesman lee showing not one bit of compassion for the car he sold. that was in fact classed as unsafe to drive. now trading standards are investigating.
Expected us to buy the car with out a test drive. Took a huge deposit. The car was presented for collection with a broken light and punctured tyre. Don't seem to want to sort.... Not recommended
Do not use SW Car Sales to buy a car from. Constant problem with car and the poor work that was done on the car to hide problems has now left me with a car I can't drive any more. They also tried to get me to buy the car without test driving it first. Very pushy. That was my experience and sadly my friend bought a car from them as well (now trying to sell it on) had problems with communication leaving him without the car to drive for a week over the time THEY said. I would never by a car from them again nor would I buy one with there sticker in the window as I'm pretty sure it would be just as ready for the scrap yard as my car is.
