Excellent Service

I enquired about a vehicle and applied for finance. Great service. Told to reserve the car using the website. Which I did. Unfortunately had to cancel the reservation and contacted them immediately and requested refund. I was then over 5 days given various reasons why they couldn’t refund me immediately, from the managers need to press the green button to unreserve the vehicle to allow refund, To I’ll get the accountant to refund you. Then oh the company who administers the website needs to refund you. I am still waiting my refund. Unless you are 100% going ahead with a purchase , do not use this company or there website, otherwise your deposit will end up in the cosmos like mine.

I live over 250 miles from swansons but Bought my car from them, from start to finish wonderful team who all work together to keep me informed and up to date with my car! I had video calls and extra photos upon request and not once was i in doubt about buying from them....fantastic company

As someone who has worked in the motor trade for over 20 years i know how difficult the job can be of selling used cars, however my 2 experiences of dealing with Swanson Ford have been great, and the 1 small niggle i had with the vehicle was quickly sorted.

I bought a 2014 car from Swanson Ford 6 weeks ago. From the point of driving away, there were faults with it. These were 'minor' as in the car was still driveable but annoying none the less.... until finally my gearbox went. It was a significant issue as it managed to split my engine cover in the process of breaking. When I took in into the garage they said it would be sent to Exeter for a specialist to look at the gearbox. The next day it was sent and I was told on the Friday morning, the gearbox had been stripped out. What they failed to account for however was that my car had a tracker fitted and the tracker showed the vehicle had been driven Friday afternoon. They had clearly been caught out in their lies so the current stage, I am a week on and my car is no further forward to being fixed. The customer service throughout has been shocking - from the Director to the Service Manager to the Sales Executive. Many occasions I have asked for call backs and been promised I would be called back by certain days//times etc and only on 1 occasion they managed this. Sometimes it would be days later and I would have to call again. I have been sold a pile of rubbish and the dealership goes hand in hand with that. I wish I had known prior to spending that much money so I'm writing this in the hope it stops one person from going in there.

Worst experience in 32 years of motoring. I would never recommend this company, Swanson Select or Swanson Ford or anything else to do with Kevin Quigg. Absolute shambles of a company. What goes around!! Disgusted!! But I won’t forget!!!
