Bought my new car two weeks ago and just wanted to say how pleased with my overall experience of purchasing from Townfield. Having found the Audi on the internet I was able to arrange a visit the following weekend to view the car. It was just as discribed and was able to agree a price for my old car in part exchange. Being able to drive away the same day with my new car was great.

Well saw the caron the Internet audi a3 so went to Townfield Car Sales to view, was told when I got there someone has borrowed it, it would be back either Friday or Saturday morning this was wendsay. So went back at 2:30 on Saturday again was told he's on the way back from Scunthorpe will be about 1 hour, so went back at 4 pm. Looked at car noticed cigarette burn in drivers seat thought ok for 7 grand it won't be like new, then noticed screw in side wall of trye, the older gentleman said take it for a test drive, but before I set off he said if you smell burning it's the motor from the rear screen wiper, drive went ok, then spoke to the owner (I think) he gave the usual speel upto date with service I said why the service light on then, he looked at papers and said oh it needs a service, I said about tyre either screw in side wall, oh I'll put a part worn on it!! Then he said he wanted to check clutch on my car which he didn't know how to do, personally I was going to buy car but this person's inept customer service and knowledge of car that's been sat on forecourt for a long time was so poor I turned out of the place and ran, better quality,customer service elsewhere rather give someone else my buisness
