The salesmen at Trade Centre Wales are cheeky and so am I, it’s all for a laugh, they don’t push you on any car, they push to sell A car.. they sell hundreds of cars weekly! The interest rates are above average in my eyes, it’s sold as seen.. so check the car over and get the warranty that covers all of the mechanics They took my car for above what it was worth! And I mean well above! I can not fault the whole team! Their process is the most efficient way to get cars sold!! And to get to the next customer. Time is money vice Versa! I’m very pleased with my buy! Highly reccomended! Just check over your car! I’m someone that gets excited with things I want! Just take someone with you to take the heat of the salesman tactics while you do your thing.

Awful experience at the Trade Centre Wales. They sold us a car that the engine was all rusted the break pads were on their way out and the clutch and the tires were worn, and to top it all off they said we couldn’t take it back because they have a lengthy recycling process, will never go there again, and I suggest you won’t go there either because they put us at risk with a faulty car, did I mention we only had the car for a few days

Shame you couldn't choose no star as they certainly don't deserve one star! Went to TCW Neath to get a car for my son. He fancied a car that was £6999. Had a good look at it before taking it for a test drive. Whilst out on the test drive the salesman repeatedly asked us if we wanted to buy the car. When we got back to the showroom We asked him about warranty and part x. He went off to find out and when he came back he asked us again several times if we wanted to buy the car, before answering our questions. He told us the car was on hold for us and he needed a decision if we wanted the car. (Very pushy). We asked him to give us 5 mins to discuss it amongst ourselves to which he agreed. He came back a couple of minutes later to say we were too late and the car had been sold to someone else. We asked to see the manager who told us it was apparently our fault for taking too long to decide as we had been in the showroom nearly an hour. We had only been back from the test drive 10 minutes! Unbelievable that they expected us to make a decision that quick without even discussing amongst ourselves. Salesman was so pushy and rude! After reading reviews on here I think we had a lucky escape. Will never go there again and would advise anyone who wants a little time to think how to part with their cash to think very carefully before going here!

Well over priced

Helpful review....was going to go and look at buying a car from them but will now stay well away! These bad reviews will keep a lot of people from attending these show rooms...Trade Centre Wales will probably say they "sell loads of vehicles anyway" but why the "pushy" sales tactics...be polite and give the customer time to make a very important decision and they will sell even more cars.. There are many more vehicles out there for sale, the customer always has the upper hand......

The sale of the vehicle was no problem at all went smoothly, unfortunately on the drive home the problems started. Unlike many I DID have enough fuel to get to the tesco garage up the road, unfortunately on the way there the car was pulling to the left. Upon checking the service book the next day I realised the vehicle was due a service in the next couple of weeks, not in several thousand miles as informed, considering the car was priced at £6999 I was disappointed to say the least. I decided to get it serviced by my usual mechanic and to get tracking looked at while I was there. During the service the mechanic found several faults and said he had NEVER seen so much corrosion underneath a vehicle of that age. So I contacted them and took car back for inspection to be informed it was mostly fine (the pulling to the left didn't exist and was just road camber apparently, subsequent tracking found it to be miles out) and to take it back to Kia under warranty for 3 issues. Kia were great and did the one thing under warranty, replaced a bulb that was one of the other problems and diagnosed the other as battery wasn't charged enough. However they looked at the corrosion and told me to take vehicle back to TCW as it was completely unacceptable. TCW are now refusing to take the vehicle back and refusing to pay for an independent report unless it's done by someone they have chosen local to them. I am now being forced to go to the finance company and credit card to seek a resolution. TCW customer service has been disgraceful at best. Please please please don't buy from them, since this problem several people I know have said they have had similar problems with poor quality vehicles and had to fight tooth and nail to get things sorted. This was nearly 3 years ago, I did manage to reject the vehicle eventually, but it did inspire me to start a facebook page and group about them as it was difficult to leave a genuine review at the time, trustpilot is 95% fake reviews.

Having seen the adverts and my partners car being written off from a nice HGV driver that wanted to say hello.. We visited the Trade Centre on saturday 26th August 2017. With the view to buy a car. On first impressions we we were both impressed with the welcome and the hello from the sales guy, this Soon turned to frustration i'm afraid. Having been asked what sort or car we were looking for and explaining a cash Budget it just didnt sink in... Even pointing out we just wanted to walk around & look at the stock on show ( The sales guy kept following us!!!). was like a bad smell, you would turn around and he was there... The budget seemed to be doubled and then being shown cars for double this price was a joke, NO CHANCE TO FIND THE CARS THEY OFFER ON THE T.V ADS.. I draw the line at being followed around, and in effect offered a 2011 volvo for 6.5k as a good deal. There are some really nice cars here on show, But i must warn people to look seriously at what you're buying sub 10k Having looked at the wonderful paint work on some cars outside, the alloys show a different story to the car's condition... Simply the first experience has lost a sale for my partner's replacement car. And in no way shape nor form would i look to upgrade my car in the next 3 months at this setup. will be going back to the car shop i got it from.. much better priced.

Well trade centre Wales , what can I say .   I walked through the door at the Cardiff north branch . I was approached by a salesman , nice guy ( I have not got any bad words to say about him ) I told him the situation regarding my car , that I had a settlement figure but as I was 2 thirds the way through my agreement I would like to part ex it in for a newer vehicle . They were more than happy to help me . I explained that I also had another car which I would be willing to part ex . This meaning I would part ex both of my cars for something which was more suitable for my family . We walked around the premises and saw a lovely BMW z1. We applied for finance and sadly due to my credit rating was not able to get it . But I was assured that I could pick another car for 7k. Myself and my partner strolled around the site looking at cars that would not only be suitable for our family but also suitable to tow our caravan . The salesman ( a different one this time ) told us to look and let him know if we need details . We picked out a few cars , Peugeot 208 2013 and a ford focus zetec 2012 to name a couple . The salesman assured us that the Ford focus would be everything we need and it was low miles , long mot etc . We chose the Ford focus .  On the drive home we heard a loud bang ( we thought we had run over a bottle ) we carried on as normal . Now this is where the nightmare really begins . As we were driving an error dash came up on both of the car computer screens along with a alarm . Stating that the bonnet is open . We pulled over . Opened it and shut it just to make sure . We got home and went up to bed . To be rudely awaken by the car alarm . This went off countless times throughout the night at random intervals/throughout the day . And the bonnet open error message still appeared when I was driving . I phoned them to make an appointment for them to fix the problems. I stated that I need a car for work and if I was to put it in for repair then I would need a replacement for the duration . I was told no . So I made arrangements with work to accommodate this . Then as I was driving the next day I heard a lock knocking and rattling noise that was coming from the steering column/rack . I phoned them straight away and told them the problem and I wanted to return the car . Only to be coheresed into letting them book the car in for repair. I was paying a lot of money for this car and was not comfortable driving it.  Especially with my children in it . I must mention this was all within 9 days of having the car. I had enough! I phoned trade centre Wales and explained I would be returning the car . Again they said they would repair it ,i really was not happy with this as i know i have 30 days to return faulty goods. I went to my finance company and filed for a rejection of vehicle . This was all sorted out and they said I had to drive to the neath branch . I took the day off work as I live an hour and a half drive away and Intended to get another vehicle after I returned the vehicle . I thought this was considerate of myself . They sold me a broken car and i still wanted to deal with them . Most people would have ran for the hills ! I was told I had to meet "brett" in collections at 10am . I phoned trade centre Wales to explain that I might be running a bit late . They had no idea I was going there . I walked into trade centre Wales in neath . Instantly swarmed by salesmen . Once I told them the reason I was there they backed off . I explained I had to meet brett . Guess what ?! Brett was on HOLIDAY for another week . ! They showed me to a room where I met "elliot" very professional and great manners. I signed the paper and gave him the service docs and all keys . I asked elliot if I could go look for another car . He explained that I would now be treated as a new customer . Which I was a bit wary as now I don't have any part exes or deposit for a different vehicle . So at this point trade centre Wales had 3 cars from me . A Toyota auris,  hyundai coupe siii and a ford focus which I had to return as it was Broken .  So myself and my partner started to look around . We found a vauxhall mokka and a Honda civic . Both in my price range . I was happy with these vehicles. And the salesmen went and got the keys for us to have a look. As we were looking at the first vehicle . The salesman informed us that he was told by his general manager that they were not allowed to sell me any cars . I explained that they had 3 cars from me and I wanted another one . He went to "double check " with his general manager . Upon returning he just reiterated that they won't sell us a vehicle and with us not being able to do anything there.  We had to leave . Myself and my partner were stranded 50 miles away from home . We are so lucky that we have family who came to collect us. So in summary they took 3 cars from me and I left with nothing . I was not able to get a car from anywhere as it looked bad on my credit file ( which was already bad I admit ) . With no car and no transport I had to phone work to inform them that I cannot travel for work for at least 2 weeks until I get another vehicle sorted. My father in law kindly borrowed me his car on his days off so that I could get some work done at least . I looked at the contracts of the Ford focus car and noticed that there was no part ex value or deposit value . Which I found weird as I definitely put 2 of my cars into them . If you want my opinion stay far away from trade centre Wales.  If anybody else have had the same experience or any advice to give . Then please contact myself . Kylewchef@gmail.com I now have a car but I still feel like I have been had by these con artists. I cannot express how I feel and I hope this review helps other potential customers.

I heard Trade Centre Wales's advert on the radio and had a look at their website. The generic i-stock business photos and over the top self praise should have been the first warning sign. Be warned, the stock shown on their website is either fake or not linked to their actual stock records and never updated. Apparently they have a 2015 VW Golf with the mileage TBC. They also had a 2014 Audi A4 and a 2013 Merc (apparently). I visited the show room and immediately noticed several staff members look up and stare at me like a group of meerkats. The closest one to me couldn't contain himself before latching onto me. This was warning sign 2. Warning sign 3 came when I explained I was looking for one of these cars I had seen on the website only to be told they were no longer there. I was particularly interested in the 2014 Audi A4 from the website so when the dealer asked me what my budget was I told him it was the price of that vehicle I had seen. He told me there was nothing there at that price unfortunately but showed me several older vehicles that cost £2k/£3k more than the one on the website. I said that I'm not interested in what he was showing me to which he replied "You are expected a little too much for your money". I showed him his own company website on my phone and asked him why none of those vehicles were there and why all of these older equivalents were more expensive. Instead of answering the question he actually asked me to take a seat while he tried to find me the best deal they had. I politely thanked him for his time and left. I'll never go back.

Great customer service when buying the car but the minute you have a problem the Trade Centre Wales are not interested. Don't waste your money buying from this company.

J. Murphy in response to DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM TRADE CENTRE WALES

If these reviews are genuine, I'm surprised the company is still in business. Has resulted in putting me off considering Trade Centre as a sales outlet. Pity, but isn't that why we search reviews? Last time I purchased a car it was from Henleys in Exeter and they were outstanding.
