Bought a car from V12 dealership in Hinckley. Returned after 7 days, car has a massive clutch/ gear box failure which has since been proven by a reputable garage. Dealership told me that the car is "in pieces" and that they will not accept my letter of rejection and process my refund until I pay for the car to be put back together again. I will not be paying for any repairs, this is blackmail and under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 I am not liable to pay anything and as I returned the car within 30 days of purchase I am entitled to a full refund. This dealership is in breach of consumer rights laws. They refused to provide their complaints policy/ escalation process or put their decisions in writing. Reported to Trading Standards via CAB Consumer Helpline, Trust pilot and Auto Trader. This car should never have been sold, it is dangerous and of an unsatisfactory quality. Do not buy from this dealership, the AA warranty is useless and the 128 point guarantee is a joke. If I could give this dealership a 0 star rating I would.

I recently purchased a Volvo XC60 from v12 cars 6 weeks ago!after driving the home I realised the vehicle had a noise from the front n/s suspention! I contacted v12 and was put through to the AA after continued contact with AA and the v12 team to get the issue sorted 5 weeks on after visiting the second garage for me veichle to Ben inspected v12 after sales team phoned me to say they’ve would not be paying for the repairs to the veichel as the parts are down to wear and tear even after contact with v12 with the issue within the first week of purchasing this car £12000 for a faulty vehicle! Left with a bill that I have to pay of £287 not happy with the service and the way they spoken to me on the phone! I wouldn’t recommend anybody to buy a veichel of this company! The warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on

Reject the vehicle and contact Trading Standards Leicestershire immediately. They will be very happy to hear from you. I had a mechanical failure sitting on my drive for 8 weeks. They will not pay to fix even though the onus is on them (as they very well know) not the rubbish warranty they flog. They'll fob you off until you give up and go away. Don't waste your time as it will just pee you off. Buy this book that was recommended to me after I got all my money back because HOW I got it back is in there. Amazon - Scott dixon - parking fines and consumer rights. It will be worth the £7.99 and you don't need to pay for a solicitor. If they say they won't accept the rejected vehicle then know that they have NO right to say that, it's against the law. If you paid on finance, call them direct and unwind the deal. Section 75 if paid on credit card for full refund or debit and cash then buy the book and find out what to do. Don't release the vehicle or v5 to them if they arrange to collect or they'll have you car and money. They told me they would collect, check it over and give me a refund after 14 days. What a joke! They very much underestimated me. My car came from BCA ex lease - they're poorly valeted, have a useless 128 point check and then flogged on for a premium. I'm probably very much in the minority of getting my money back. Take control of the situation and make them your debtor. Need help then contact me on here.
On Thursday 23 May I purchased a vehicle from V12 Sports and Classics, at first everything was fine apart from waiting 1 hour to complete the formalities. When I got home I found no Owners manual service book, no jack or brace in the boot. The windscreen washer was virtually empty and I had to put 2 pints of oil in the engine. The MOT testers report stated the front discs required replacing. I have contact V12 and all I am getting is excuses as to why they won't replace items, apparently I don't need a jack to replace a wheel or take off for repair? I can download the manual from PDF which is 231 pages long. It is not there problem regarding the front discs and hard luck about the expenses of engine oil. It appears they sell the vehicle and you are on your own afterwards. I am in the process of contacting Leicester Trading Standards about this company and I am not the only one having trouble. MY ADVICE IS KEEP AWAY, 128 POINT REPORT BY AA MEANS NOTHING AND THEY DONT FULFILL THEIR RESPONSIBILITES AS A DEALER. BUY AT YOUR PERIL.

Legal proceedings against V12 Sports & Classics commenced. Garage are operating outside the law regarding consumer rights. If you have lost money, see section 75 if paid for on a credit card or visa debit dispute if you paid on your visa card. The bank will withdraw funds from their bank without reference to them if paid credit card. You are entitled to a full refund regardless. Get hold of trading standards Leicester, which is what I've done. The more complaints to them the better.

I to brought a car from them on finance (£5500) I've had it a year it's done less than 5000 miles and cost me approx £1800 on repairs.
I purchased a Nissan qashqai from V12 Sports and Classics within a week i discovered that the car had previously been in an accident ,they didn't tell me this before i bought the car. I asked for a full refund they refused .The aftersales team has not responded to my emails or phone calls and they refused to refund £11590.00. AVOID buying from them and don't take out there AA warranty it's not worth the paper it's printed on.

I was interested in a Nissan Qashai 1.5 TDCi TEKNA and a colleague of mine who lives near V12 Hinckley managed to pop across and feedback to me before making the 2.5 hour journey from South Wales. I paid the £100 deposit to reserve the car which they did, and from start to finish I can say the whole process was well managed. Jonathan (if I remember correctly) was our sales guy and was very professional throughout. We drove the car away the same day but not before it was cleaned inside and out. Very happy with the purchase and the whole process. Am yet to find a fault!

Good price vehicle. Hopefully sales. Even pick-up from station. Very helpful. Sort out paperwork. V12 Sports & Classics like you sign for the car BEFORE you check over on pickup. My car was just washed ???. Missing spare wheel. And TOOK 5 days to get the £99 deposit transferred back. (Which was paid immediately to hold vehicle)..nice to sell you a car then when paid....see ya..
