Worst experience I have ever had. My car had numerous faults and the service centre associated with the car dealership was never reachable. It turned out in the end they had gone into liquidation, but being based on Nottingham i couldn't find this out by popping down so relied on the telephone number because that was the only way you could get in touch. Now since the service centre went into liquidation you would think the car sales company who I deal with would help me out. NO, they didn't, they didn't actually WANT to help, they just ignored my calls until I got too annoying for them to ignore. when finally in touch hey were rude and made me FEEL bad about my car being in disrepair! In the end they offered me £110 to fix faults, what is funny here is the cheapest quote I got was £410.88 but they felt £110 was reasonable?! One word of advise DO NOT TRADE HERE IF YOU RESPECT YOURSELF IN ANY WAY.

You purchased an audi A4 convertible back in December. It came with a new mot and which was done by Bellamy Service centre an independent Mot test station. Your glove box needed fixing and you started dealing with Bellamy service centre direct to get this arranged. We didn't have an issue as we said whatever the works will be done we will be paying for them. We do not hear anything from you then we get a call from yourself after a month or so saying that the car wont start. We advised you to get the vehicle back to us which you did and the same day "Under Warranty" we replaced the alternator that had failed. We have the invoice for this too. You fail to mention that in your negative review. Then we hear from you again month later which would be past few days. You said you have been trying to contact bellamy service centre you cant get through. At this point you told us that the abs light and the traction light is on and this is what you have been waiting to get repaired. We said as a goodwill gesture we will honour this for you. Having spoken to Bellamy service centre they confirmed they tried to book you in however you couldn't agree a time. (this is what we have been told before you accuse us). At this point when you told us this we said find out exactly what is the issue as on the mot the abs sensor was changed. You provided us with a quote stating that the nsf abs sensor faulty cost of £89.52 and rear brake flexi cracked/perished cost to replace £125.64. Now there was a cost for front brake discs/pads 80% worn cost at £195.72. You know and we know as the it states 80% worn we did not agree for this cost however you use this to tally your cost up to £400 odd pounds so it looks that our quote was and insult. We contacted Euro car parts who under trade quoted us £ 35 for the abs sensor and only £15 for the flexi. So we asked 2 local mechanics (not bellamy service centre) they both said that labour for the abs sensor will be £35-£40 and only £20-25 for the flexi. So if you look at the cost the abs sensor compared to what your garage said ours was not much cheaper however the cost to repair the flexi was way off cheaper. You then said if we can give you written quotations then you will try get your local garage to price match however you didn't wait for this. We said to you we can offer you £110 to the repairs or bring the vehicle back to us and we will get this done. All our communication regarding this was via email at no point anyone was rude to you, you said 'I can't accept anything less than £168 considering the options" as we disagreed to meeting this demand, You then said you were bitterly disappointed with the service you received even though we were offering a "goodwill gesture". You then said that we send the payment to your account we advised you that once you have completed the works and sent us the proof we will forward the payment to you, again you had this in email so a written agreement/confirmation from us. It was at this point you clearly weren't happy and started saying you will go to trading standards and you started threatening us along with this statement "I will spam the internet with the absolute shambles of a service you have offered and how much of a con artist your firm actually is" We fixed your alternator in January 2017 under warranty that cost us over £200, We were willing to fix your abs sensor/traction, we offered you the payment towards it, yet we still offered you bad service and we are con artist. How does that makes sense. I'm sorry you feel the way you do however we cant just start paying customers out without proof any works has been carried out. Now even though what you might think of us we still are offering to fix the issue for you. You know very well nobody has been rude to you as all our correspondence was via email. We at Westbrook Car sales have all records of warranty works being done for customers and also any refund/repair that maybe require under the consumer rights act. Sadly the reviews we have received are a minority of customers who feel we have to pay for everything or fix everything they say on a used vehicle they purchase. The Consumer rights act is there to protect consumers and we have always honoured this when required and we have proof have that. Went with my mum and to buy a car from Westbrook Car Sales, the guys were great help, they let us look at cars and gave us time. car was serviced and mot'd as agreed. Got a good deal :) have not had any issues so thank you.

Stay Clear of Westbrook Car Sales! Had the car for 7 days before the engine went. I didn't see the car for 29 days after that as they took it to repair at Bellamy Service Center where they get all there cars done (also stay clear, can't even manage an oil change let alone an engine rebuild) Ended up seeking help from solicitors and was taking them to court until they finally decided to give me a refund after rejecting my claims. After looking at reviews, they have traded under 4 different names that i am aware of in 2 years. Every time i went to get the car back a new problem had occurred, thus making it 29 days without the car, But as soon as i got my money back this car was put back up for sale regardless of the major engine work that had been done and still needed doing. This is just a brief description of what went on. On this occasion i was lucky to get my money back as i have seen quite a few people have on going issues. All in all, stay clear of Peterborough, watchdog have done a few companies there for car sales and still have on going investigations. The majority of second hand dealerships there are trying to sell dodgy vehicles to you so make sure you do research on them before you buy a car instead of after like my self.

Another typical ungrateful customer trying to mislead other customers with false information. This customer bought a bmw and we agreed to do a full service including fuel filter. There was no issues with the engine whatsoever. What this customer has not told is that he 'trashed the car causing the swirl flaps to break and go in to the engine and this caused the engine problem' Even though THIS CUSTOMER DAMAGED THE CARS ENGINE WE AT WESTBROOK CAR SALES STILL "YES STILL" AGREED TO GET THE REPAIRS CARRIED OUT UNDER WARRANTY!! We used an independent garage called Bellamy service centre the customer was dealing direct with the repairing garage and then all sudden they fell out and he started requesting refund for the vehicle. We at westbrook car sales decided to refund the customer due to the mannerism of this customer not because we received anything from a solicitor (again another lie from this customer). We try our best at westbrook car sales to maintain good standards, we sell used cars unfortunately vehicles can develop faults as they are used cars. We will continue to do our best and provide good quality cars and as we have done for many of our customers. Do not buy from Westbrook Car Sales. I bought a car from them 2 weeks ago and it was delivered with no issue. However only one week later (after a small amount of use) the worn brake pad light came on, so I took it to a garage to get checked out. It turns out the rear brake pads were 90% worn and the radiator was leaking coolant. These problems in no way could have developed in a week and so clearly the car was not safe to drive in the state it was sold to us in - the engine is at risk of overheating and the brake pads are not safe for continued use. It's a wonder that it passed a 12 month MOT on the day it was delivered to us. My partner and I have contacted the dealer many times in an attempt to get this sorted, both by email (to which we've had no response on all 3 occasions) and over the phone (where the sales staff were very rude, evasive and had no interest in helping us). We finally got through to someone at Westbrook Car Sales tonight who would talk to us about this issue, only to be told they will not repair any of these issues under the 3 month so-called 'warranty' that came with the car and will also not issue us with a refund for the car (which is clearly faulty, and so we know we are entitled to a refund under the Consumer Rights Act). I am appalled by the lack of post-sale customer service this company provides and will certainly be pursuing this matter further. Please be very careful when dealing with Westbrook Car Sales, which is full of rude, unprofessional and dishonest people.

The mot was carried out by an independent test station. The vehicle failed on its coil spring, top mount, and headlight bulb. The brake discs were put down as an advisory that they were corroded. You sent a report from Volkswagen Garage that said the discs are corroded and brake pads 90% worn. We explained this numerous times to you that these are serviceable items that need to be changed as and when required. We have given you a warranty for 3 months and have emailed you the terms. We are sorry brake pads/discs are not part of our warranty as they are serviceable items. I have emailed you and said if you can provide us with diagnostic that the radiator is leaking and what is required we are willing to pay for the cost as a goodwill gesture. You have called numerous times and nobody has been rude to you. Im sorry you feel this way we are still happy to assist and help you where we can.

My husband and I had a similar issue with them in 2015 when they where trading as HM Car sales. they have since traded as greenwood car sales and previously as winston motors. I advice court action, thats what we did and was awarded to cost of the repairs back through court. act quick before they close and reopen under another name again.

I wish I had read this review before i purchased my car, I have had a very similar experience and they have been incredibly arrogant in their approach to me. also after a bit of digging it looks like they have traded under many names in the past and had the same issues with each firm.

I bought my Vauxhall corsa from Westbrook Car Sales. It came with a new mot and I was also given their 3 months warranty. They were very helpful when I had some questions. They did as they said on what we agreed. My car had small issue and this was fixed through their warranty. Excellent after sales very impressed will definitely recommend.

Bought my first car and was told so many lies. How can humans be so dishonest? And the warranty is not real. It's just for show, they don't pay anything when something goes wrong. This review is to help protect other innocent people from being treated as I have been. Be careful and good luck!
