22/6/2018 went to look at a Audi A4 avant auto salesman gave us the key to have a look around the car and start it up came back to us after about 5 minutes wasn’t sure it being automatic anyway he said let’s see what your car is worth came back to car we were looking to buy wife said go for a drive went for short drive still not sure about automatic any way decided to put £300 deposit on car went home thought about it being auto you see I have always driven manual cars and I decided it was not for me so I rang salesman up explained to him i was going to stick with manual cars he said I have just tested it for you so I said to be fair take it off the deposit I gave you he then I will get the boss to ring you so he rings me and explains it is company policy non refundable deposit so I said so there is no goodwill from you he did come over and I will take you out in the car and you will change your mind but I said so there is no goodwill from you really poor just goes to show they are all friendly not the sort of company to deal so if you go to wharfdale motor company make sure you want the car before put a deposit down because they hide behind there company policy so be very wary
Honest, No Pressure Sales, bought a 2007 Accord Tourer two weeks ago, the car is an absolute beauty, I'm a C&I Engineer and do all my own servicing so I know a good car and the Tourer was A1 ..... Highly Recommend Whardale Motor Company.

Purchased a VW Golf in Feb 2017 from Wharfedale Motor Company to travel around the UK with my family whilst here from overseas, cost almost 3k. Despite a new MOT and 'service', when I took the car on the motorway it felt like it was going to leave the road at anything above 55 mph! Result, two new front springs and a new wheel bearing- incorrect spring reported to have been fitted One week later, EML light came on - new sensor required - again, incorrect one reported to have been fitted. Two weeks later, both rear brake callipers ceased - rear wheels dangerously hot - new discs, pads and callipers required. Overall, the vehicle cost over 1000 pounds to keep safe and on the road in only 1-month of ownership, less than 1,000 miles! All diagnostics & repairs were carried out by independent and highly rated "good garage scheme" mechanics across the country as I was unable to return the vehicle to Bradford as we had spent a considerable amount on pre-paid accommodation. Upon contacting Wharfedale motors and informing them of my experience and the cost incurred, they refused to show any goodwill or understanding whatsoever, even threatening to copy my emails to their solicitor! Cleary there were several issues with the vehicle at the point of sale that could have been addressed with a little more investigation and investment from the dealership......this was then followed-up by a shocking post-sales experience.

Customer never made any effort to contact us regarding his concerns. if he had only contacted us we could have advised him how to approach the issues, Unfortunately he went ahead with work that may (or may not) have been required regardless of costs. This car was independently MOTed prior to him picking the vehicle up.
I am really pleased with how everything went with Wharf dale Motors! I bought a Polo from them back in September and up to now I have had n issues with them at all. the car was cleaned nicely and in great condition and up to now I have had no issues with it at all. I would recommend.

Very good dealership! I am actually in the process of having a new car from them as the first one had issues and they tried to fix it 4 times but the issue was still on going. There have been no fallings out though, they have been really helpful and supplied me with a courtesy car and I would certainly recommend them.
