The most terrible experience!! Purchased a car from them at the beginning of the first lockdown. Had only driven the car to and from work and taken great care of it! A few months later the car completely broke down, Any form of help/ good will gesture was refused and my reputable garage found EXTENSIVE DAMAGE to the vehicle!!
Cracked cylinder, a HUGE gash down the engine, had to have a whole new engine, new clutch, new cylinder and more, repairs totalling £3000! Almost half the price of the vehicle! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!!!

I have had a terrible experience from whites cars. I purchased an Audi Q7 from them which has caused nothing but problems for me. After taking it to an Audi specialist i have been told that there are many faults with this car including badly worn rear brake pads and discs. I had specifically requested that the brakes were checked and that they are in good condition. I was told that they are in great condition with over 10,000 miles of use left however on inspection they need to be replaced immediately. Please do your own checks on the vehicle before buying as the Salesmen may tell you incorrect information as i experienced. Would have loved to maintain a good relationship with these guys however i will be taking my business elsewhere due to this experience.

I recently bought a 320i e92 bmw from whites cars, got the car back from London and on that very same day had starting issues due to a faulty fuel pump, got the work done eventually after the guy Roy sent a faulty replacement, he then sent another which is only 50% working therefore I now have to buy a new one myself, also the car has a problem with the throttle body which is now being investigated, I’ve spent more time getting it to garages than actually enjoying the car! extremely unhappy with the car that has been sold to me!

I think what Lee is trying to convey is, he hides behind double gates at the end of the road. You can only get through those gates if you have an appointment and or paid a deposit. Seems to me Lee has been hiding behind those gates. Now I see why, having bought a vehicle of him. The reason I chose White’s, is they had a real flash advert stating, they had a 3 month warranty for all vehicle’s purchased from Whites cars. This included parts and labour and VAT.. Can’t go wrong here. Haha, what a joke.
The Ad., albeit on ebay classified, stated:
3 Month Warranty (not honoured)
HPI Check (Report Supplied) (not supplied)
Full Valet
12 Months MOT (10 months)
Pre-delivery Inspection (kicked the tyres, more like)
After getting the vehicle home, I found
-The right hand side lights, front and rear were not working. (Fixed them myself immediately. Fuse)
-The brakes were in a dreadful state. New pads and discs required
-A/C didn’t work.
-Bad oil leak from the corroded sump.
-Windscreen washer tank, held about 2 cupful’s before overflowing.
To be fair, Lee White, at Whites car sales offered to take the car back for the price I paid, only. However I had a train fare and a tank of petrol paid, to the tune of £60.00. He refused to pay anything more than what I paid for the car. So much for customer service. The ad stated “No Return”. So I obeyed. Also I needed the car for work, as my previous car, quit at short notice. He then changed tack and offered to have the repairs carried out at place of his choosing. Really? Seeing the state of the car after just 2 days I wouldn’t have trusted them near it with a wooden tooth pick.

*between MOT and Sale, 12k = to a rate of 70,000miles PA. Fiddle? Can’t read numbers? Take your pick.

Waited 6 weeks for the new "logbook" to arrive. It didn't. The DVLA weren't informed of the sale..
Appears it was beyond their capablilies to carry out even this simple task.

Steer clear of this one. Dispite me visiting twice and having three telephone conversations in the last few days about a car I was going back to buy today, these people acted like they couldn't remember and sold the car! AND they'd said they would call me if anyone else came along before I could get back to pay. Didn't even have the decency to let me know they'd sold it. Its down a dirt track on someone's land. I probably had a lucky escape. Don't suppose they'd help if you went back with a problem.

As we told you at the time unfortunately you provided us with the wrong contact number so we was unable to call you and as we informed you our vehicles are for sale unless you leave us a deposit which you decided not to do on both occasions. As for being down a dirt track I think we both know that is untrue. I am very sorry you felt the need to write such a spiteful and untrue review.
