The service I recieved from Williams Group was the best I've had from a car dealer. Frankie was incredibly helpful, informative and knowledgeable. There were a couple of slight issues with the vehicle that the service team picked up, new parts were sourced and fitted the same day and my car was ready to go the following day. At each stage Frankie kept me updated and was completely transparent with any queries I had. 100% would (And Have been) recommending to my friends and colleagues. Top Service, Top Dealer, Great Experience. Forget the old image of used car dealers, these guys are professionals.
I bought a BMW from Williams Group Maidstone and so far I've had no problems, which considering I bought it in March and its now September is pretty good. The car was best clean but it was decent value. I recommend!

I recently bought a used five and a half years old Lexus CH 200H SE-L Premier CVT from the Williams Group site at East Farliegh, Maidstone, Kent. I paid £11,000.00 for it, which might seem a little expensive for this car (in view of its age) however, when you consider it had a full Lexus service history which supported the fact that it had only done 29049 miles. The tyres, alloy wheels, bodywork and leather seats were all in perfect order. the Williams employee that assisted me in purchasing this vehicle was Paul Parkinson and he really could not have been more helpful both during the sale process and afterwards. In addition I had to order an extra key from Lexus and the Service Manager there told me about a fault in the electrics in the driver's door. This was about four or five weeks after I had purchased the car, nevertheless I returned it to Paul Parkinson and he had Williams engineer fix it while I waited and there was no charge. To say that I was very pleased would be an understatement.
I bought my Audi TT last weekend from Williams Group Maidstone and I cannot fault the company. When we first saw the car we given the keys and left alone to have a look around the vehicle and take it for a test drive. We decided the buy the car and was told it would be ready in a few days. I paid the deposit over the phone and when I arrived by train to collect the car I was picked up at east farleigh station. Nothing was too much of a problem and everyone that I spoke to was very helpful even after I had paid my money! GREAT COMPANY TO DEAL WITH AND WILL DEFINITELY BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!

Stay away from this company they say they are going to call you about a car you've enquired about but they never do they also lie to you and tell you that the car is available one minute and gone the next this happened on about three occasions with the same car! So stay away!!

Whilst the sales guy that I bought the car from was as good as gold and made the process easy for me, I am disappointed with how they have handled a particular issue (I am willing to forget how rude a member of staff was to me when trying to get back my deposit after paying the full amount by BACS and that she put the phone down on me). After buying the car and on the way out of the door, I was advised by a member of the team that there was a second key that needed to sent from Scotland by the previous owner. I was assured that this will be dropped through my letterbox. I called the following week and was advised that the previous owner was with holding the key because he was waiting on this company to provide something and he wouldn't send it until this had been received but again, I was reassured that this will be dropped through my door. I followed this up with an e-mail over a month later to query about the second key and was told that this would be chased up. I was told to leave it for a while but the issue would be sorted. Admittedly I left it some months before making further contact (even though should I have had to in the first place?). I have now been told that they do not have 'any evidence' that they have ever promised a second key (despite me sending across the e-mail that clearly states this) and implied that this was my fault for leaving it too long and 'keys are very expensive'. I pointed out that I never asked for a brand new key, just the one from the previous owner so they said that they would look into this for me. However, I have just received a call saying I'd left it too long but they would be willing to send someone out to cut a key. Great I thought, excellent service, but then and lucky me, only if I went 50/50 with them. I politely declined. Shame really because I work for a large organisation whereby car loans are provided and was recommending this company which I clearly won't be now.

I have had a very pleasant experience dealing with Williams Group. I bought a BMW from them a couple of months ago and it's been excellent! No issues with it at all. The dealer was really helpful and friendly and the car is really good value for money.

Williams Group Maidstone are an old fashioned type of dealership, plenty of pointless banter, wanting a deposit before viewing a car.....not everyones cup of tea but not a crime either. Things start to get a bit suspicious when they start asking you to pay their merchant fees when paying for a car. I understand trying to sell lots of additional insurance, rti, gap products at point of sale, but, come on, absorb your own merchant fees. Once you've bought a car and then find you have faults, they don't want to know. They really do not care one bit. If they have a moral compass, it's so broken they're unlikely to find their own car park with it. There's such a stark contrast in their attitude once they have your money, it's shocking. I have now joined the growing queue of disgruntled customers who are waiting on Trading Standards to kick the company up the backside and remind them that the Consumer Rights law of 2015 is not elective. On the plus side, the MOT test centre that allowed an illegal vehicle to be passed have now been fined, and my bank have successfully performed a charge back of all money. If you want a car and have no intention, want or care of after sales care, this might be the dealership for you. If you want a dealer that still cares about you as a customer after a sale, stay clear.

Unreliable and underhand. After making an appointment to see a car and have a test drive on arriving at the Williams Group were were told that the car had been sold to someone else who had just 'dropped in' despite our appointment.

Ann thanks for your review. I rang and told you that we had another appointment on our lovely X3. And that they were physically here looking at the car. They had also made an appointment just like you. However they made theirs earlier than you. You still chose to drive down to see the BMW and then when the 1st couple bought it you were very abusive. The couple who purchased the car couldn't believe how you reacted. They said you should get up earlier or put a holding deposit if you wanted it that bad. ( There words not mine ) Mind you if we mention that we have other people interested in our cars and offer customers the option to secure our cars with a £500 deposit apparently we are just using out of date sales tactics. Clearly not!!!!!! Good luck with your search.
