Dear Caster Cars Ltd, Sorry you feel the need to write such a review. You purchased two identical Vauxhall astra’s from us in Jan 2023 over 12 months ago for you’re taxi business the second you requested would need to be cheaper but within a certain age range. We found you a second that was around £1400 cheaper than the initial vehicle. second one priced under £6000 Inclusive of Vat. Although It did have some cosmetic marks. You seemed happy with this.

 You raised a complaint with us soon after we delivered. That the car was noisy and we agreed that a Vauxhall technician with 20 years experience to inspect, He followed this up with me stating the chain was well within tolerance and not excessively noisy but the turbo was slightly worn however performed perfectly. The fault light on the dash was because YOU had switched wheels around and not re programmed the TPMS system. We corrected this free of charge for you. there was nothing wrong with any of the tyres at the point of sale as per the government MOT website and our checks. The car was also fully in taxi use with a full roof install and stickers. I did offer to buy the car back at a reduced rate simply because we did no longer want to deal with yourself but you had totally butchered the vehicle attempting to turn it into a taxi. You collected the car later that day and to this day some 12 months have passed I have heard nothing from you until now. I can see from the vehicle MOT Gov website you have covered some 16,000 miles Yes 16,000 miles in the vehicle. so you're review is likely to be questionable. Im sorry but I had to tell my side of the story. you should have been honest. I will certify not miss your business. Regards Lease cars direct LTD.

In response to the reply to my review from Lease Cars Direct LTD Dear Lease Cars Direct LTD, Thank you for replying to my review, it was fascinating to hear your side. Unfortunately, there are so many discrepancies from your end! First, I can confirm that I bought 2 cars from you. The first one was perfect at £6995, and I have no complaints about it. Therefore, I bought the second one at £5995, BLIND as you promised it would be of the same quality and condition. Also, I can confirm that the second one was £1000 cheaper (not £1400) because it was one year older and had an extra 15,000 miles on the clock, but the condition was not as you promised. When I asked for a refund (the car had done less than 60 miles) I quoted you that Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the car should have been of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. My rights, therefore, have been breached because the car you sold me is faulty/doesn’t match the description you gave me. You offered me £2500 and said, ‘Regarding the CRA 2015 this would not apply to yourself as this was a B2B sale and therefore there is no Customer Consumer Rights act’. This is when I realised that you were not a man of your word. I told you that the cars would be used as taxis and any dents or scratches would have to be repaired in compliance with Gret Yarmouth Borough Council regulations. You told me that the two dents on either side of the car could be easily fixed by just pulling them out using a dent repair service at a cost of not more than £25. I invited 2 dent companies over to see. They both informed me that this was not a possibility. Therefore, I took it to a professional car body repair shop who also informed me that this was not possible. In the end, the cost of repairing both door panels was £540. I never complained about a fault light on the dash regarding the wheels because there wasn’t one. The problem with the wheels was that the tyres needed replacing as they were illegal. It is also nonsense that the TPMS system needed reprogramming. The garage that did the full service was amazed at how filthy all the filters and oil were as well as the illegal front tyres. I have photos of everything. The cam chain issue was brought to my attention by 4 people and 2 reputable garages. We had the car inspected by the main Vauxhall dealer who confirmed that the cam chain needed replacing and it would cost £3500. Your so-called 200-point checklist is complete babble! With regards to your comment about butchering the car by turning it into a taxi! What a deluded person you are, all the taxi extras could be easily removed in less than an hour, leaving no traces at all. I am just sharing my experience with your company which is my right and accusing me of being dishonest is disgusting. Come on Ben let's accept responsibility, you sold me a pile of junk!
